Marietta Vet Clinic

We own 3 dogs, 2 cats. They were all seen by Dr. Julian for the past several years. As new clients, it started off well. As the years went on, it seemed the Dr cared less and less. One of our dogs became ill, vomiting and not eating. We took him in 3 times within a 2 weeks period, and Dr Julian kept telling us that our dog just didn't like his food and developed a food allergy.

On our last visit, on a Wednesday, Dr. Julian told me to keep trying different foods. Thursday morning at about 1 am, our boy passed away. We should have went with our gut, and took our dog to a different vet that Wednesday. I partially blame myself for not doing so. But I trusted my vet, that I've been going to for years, and he let us down. I would recommend taking your pets somewhere else that actually looks over your pet and examines them, instead of standing in a corner holding a laptop, not laying a finger on your pet.

Those past 3 visits, Dr Julian did not lay a hand on our dog, to feel his abdomen, to check his ears, to listen to his heart/lungs, nothing. Complete negligence. And now we feel like his death was completely our fault for trusting our vet.

Front of house staff is so friendly. Vet techs are great. Love the Dr and it's speedy and so very reasonably priced.

I have been taking my elderly (17) cat to Dr. Peckich for four years and he has taken excellent care of her. I trust him and his excellent team, and I highly recommend them!

Love this vet clinic. Dr. Julian is the only vet I let "vet" my pets. He came highly recommended by my neighbors who also found him by other "love my vet at Marietta Vet Clinic" customers. Very satisfied! And thankful because our pets are family.

Front desk and techs are friendly office is nice and comfortable. It's easy to get an appointment. However, I would not recommend Dr. Peckich. From my experiences he was unprofessional, and not thorough in my pets care. If you want preventative care you better push for it, because it doesn't seem to be routine at this office. Unfortunately, this means that underlying conditions go unchecked before it is too late. Their prices can't be beat, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Forever grateful for Dr. P. I have never felt more welcomed than I did at his office. He takes his time with everyone and cares for his patients and their owners. If I could I would give this office more than 5 stars. If you are looking for a Vet, he is the one!

I love this vet. Doc Julian is awesome. He tells you straight up. And they don't nickel and dime you to death. The whole staff is great. My dog does not like the vet. And he's not to keen with strangers. But he loves the staff here for some reason. And they're not scared of his pitbull appearance. I won't take him to any other vet. Been going here for years now. I'd recommend them to everyone

All I can say, he is the best. From a personal experience with my dog Toby Bryan. He took excellent care of Toby, especially in his last days. I can called the office on the day of, and they tell me to come on in, we will take care of you. This was on a weekly basis until we decided to put Toby down. Doctor Julian compassionate, caring and honesty make him different from most vet. You won't regret having him as your Veterinarian, if you need one. Thank you for taking such good care of Toby.

Dr Peckich and his staff are the best! All of my family with fur babies bring them to MVC. We really appreciate Dr Peckich honest treatments. He only recommends what is necessary and looks out for your pocket. The services are very fair compared to other clinics. His staff is also very well educated and friendly. I love how personable each member of the staff is and easy to get along with. We enjoy our visit every time!

I wanted to take a moment to share a stellar recommendation about this vet clinic. I’ve been taking my puppy here (Dakota) but not our senior dog Dudley until today. It’s just because we have a vet nearby. Long story short, Dudley has an issue that needs to be handled. I tried a new vet that advertised heavily online and they insisted on treating Dudley with a bunch of unnecessary tests and procedures and frankly, there was this fake caring vibe.

Even though it was late afternoon, my gut said to call the Marietta Vet Clinic. They saw me and Dudley with like 20 minutes notice. The doctor was very direct but genuinely compassionate and I could just sense the difference in the humanity I felt while here. Dudley will be ok, thankfully, and it’s so nice when you come across a firm that just has good vibes all around and honestly they have been incredibly fair in pricing too.

Friendly staff and beautiful clinic. Doctor took the time to educate about vaccines and animal viruses. Today was our first visit and we know that we’ve found our forever veterinarian!

Dr. Peckich is absolutely phenomenal!!!! The love and care he shows to both pets and pet parents is the best!!!! I would trust him to do anything with my Maltipoo, Neko. I have the utmost confidence & trust in him and will NEVER use another vet (unless Dr. P. hits the Megamillions and retires).💜 I more than HIGHLY recommend Dr. Peckich and Marietta Vet Clinic!!!!

I was referred to Julian's clinic by a friend even though the the location is 45 minutes from my house. I have been using VCA Briarcliff in College Park for 6 years and have decided it was time to seek a clinic that would actually care for my pets. I have a purebred Borzoi (Russian Wolfhound) that was diagnosed with Laryngeal Paralysis. I spend a fortune at my previous vet for test and ultrasounds and was never given any options for his care.

He had become very weak and I rushed him to this clinic and was treated with respect and true concern for my pet. I enjoy the doctor's approach and style. He actually gave me options: he met us back at his clinic after hours which spoke volume about his character and commitment to his profession and practice. Our borzoi was given a muscle relaxer shot, fever reduce, fluids, albuterol nebulizer and antibiotics.

We tried helping the doctor with taking x-rays, but our dog was under huge amounts of stress. He had a fever of over 105 and had aspiration pneumonia. I had called our previous clinic in a worry and nothing was done at Briarcliff--College Park. I left very happy that the doctor was offering us options and treatment. I have referred him and his staff to everyone I know.

Anyone who knows the power of a pet--especially when we, the couple, have no children--is ok in my book. He listened and valued everything we told him about his recent diagnosis. I have shared my outstanding personal experience at Marietta Vet Clinic on all my social media. Again, a huge thank you for being present, being available and being a knowledgeable clinic. Thank you all for doing what you do!

saw Dr Julian today for a small emergency and LOVED him and his staff! the prices are VERY reasonable and the care was EXCEPTIONAL! i will definitely be back there as soon as needed. You guys are such a great practice! Thank you!

Seriously the best vet ever! Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable. When our old man crossed the rainbow bridge, everyone was so compassionate and made such a tough situation easier. Our other pets have loved Dr. Peckich and all of the staff as well. We are so happy to have found them!

As a new puppy owner and new resident of Cobb County, I struggled with deciding where to take my pup for his wellness exam and vaccinations. After deciding to take him to PetSmart and pay serious $$$ for the puppy plan and the care that he needed, I decided to call MVC to see what they offered. I was pleasantly surprised at their prices and that they offered me an appointment for that afternoon.

The office was clean, modern, and the staff greeted me and my pup with nothing but smiles and affection. Dr. Peckich provided the care and knowledge that I was seeking as a first time dog owner. I appreciated that he was laid back yet thorough during the exam. Not to mention, a staff member cleaned up the accident my pup had in my car on the way to the appointment! Bonus. I'm excited to continue taking my puppy to MVC! Thanks for making my first vet experience a great one.

Quick, easy, and affordable. Great people, who really care about your animal. They aren't the closest to my house, but definitely worth bringing my cat there when she's sick. Thanks for doing such great work!

My dog has had severe allergies since she was a puppy and no veterinarian was able to get it under control till we met Dr. Peckich. He’s very knowledgeable and takes his time and figures out the root of the problem. I’m so happy I found a Veterinarian I can trust. Extremely reasonably priced. I drive 40 minuets to get there and it’s so worth it!

Dr. Peckich and Staff: Thank you so much for your quick response to my "Duke" emergency Friday morning. You immediately attended to the concerns of a very anxious and worried 'doggie mama'. We were able to get Duke in to the specialist that day, and get his injury attended to immediately. Your advice was "spot on" and in concurrence with Dr. Kinney. Duke is on the mend and we are glad to have avoided surgery.

Spent an hour with us discussing my dogs health. Didn’t waste time doing extra tests that wouldn’t have helped. Great suggestions for long term nutritional care and was very cost conscious. Prices extremely reasonable compared to other vets in the area. Office is very nice to look at and calm. Exam rooms are comfortable.

Julian is the best and so is his staff. The took great care of my Azazal(my black cat)when he had a bot fly larva in his chin, took one look at my rat terrier jockamo and knew what to do to fix his uncontrollable itching(he is doing wonderful now) took time at the last min to look at my mother's boxer daisy when she wasn't eating (she had cancer and ended up needing to be put to sleep) in between his surgery appointments.

Then my Azazal had a blockage on Thursday night that was causing severe pain. So much so I took him to the emergency vet on highway 92 in Woodstock at 1 in the morning. They wanted over $600 to run test for poison blood work and all sorts of things. Julian and his awesome staff took care of azazal and got him fixed right up in no time. And it cost me a third of what the er vet wanted and wouldn't have told us anything.

Can not say enough how great this vet and his staff are. I will be cross posting this all over the place. If you need a GOOD vet and don't have tones of money, Marietta vet clinic is the best place to take your fur babies! Wish I could leave a 100 star rating!

We love this group! Our dog has been a patient for some years and they were excellent with him! We forgot something and they dropped it off personally. Very reasonable in pricing and we didn't feel like they were gouging us like previous vets. I highly recommend them and will take any & all of our fur babies there!!

I will never take my pup anywhere else! The staff is great and always welcoming. My dog loves coming here, and I know she's always in the best hands when we do. It's great having someone you know you can rely on, especially in stressful situations when your dog is sick. Julian is the best vet ever and always makes sure Mila is good to go with anything she needs.

Dr. Peckich and his staff are extremely helpful and really care about the pets they treat. Registration was quick and easy, and the staff always makes us feel like family. We have needed to take our pet to Dr. Peckich a few times for a recurring issue, and Dr. Peckich has been able to treat our pet each time very quickly, and our pet has made a full recovery each time! Wouldn't take my little girl anywhere else. Doc squeezed me in his super busy schedule on a weekend because my girl needed her shots. Super down to earth and they all make you feel welcome.

I loved the quick and personalized response I got when our cat Doodle had a problem with her paw. It was after hours on a Friday night and I never expected to be called in right away to have her seen and treated rather than being directed to an animal hospital. Good job guys!
