Moving to a new location is exciting but we were sad to leave our amazing vet. She recommended Marathon vet and we have been so incredibly pleased with the care we have received for all four of our beloved pets. The facility is clean and inviting. The docs and staff truly love animals and provide incredibly committed care of excellence. We are blessed and grateful for this wonderful group of people who help us to care for our fur family.

I just moved to the Keys and needed to have 2 of our 5 kitties seen to get established and find treatment for our of guy with asthma. When I initially made the appointment I did it online through email and the staff was responsive and helpful. During our first time there it was obvious that the staff loves animals and were passionate about what they do.

Dr. Lisa and the entire staff are awesome. From the initial contact with them, having to reschedule and for adding an additional appointment (due to RVing in the area and our fur baby having cancer) to the actual office visits everyone was very professional, informative and comforting. They retrieved the necessary records to evaluate our fur baby and reached out to our oncologist to discuss treatment, suggestions and to provide updates. I told Dr. Lisa that if we lived in The Keys, I wouldn't hesitate to choose the Marathon Veterinary Hospital for our veterinary needs.

We took our 18 month old 70 lbs. dog in for a check up after we removed a tick from his right shoulder. During the exam, the Dr. Found an abscess on his ear from a cat fight and a lump on his neck. They immediately ran tests and reviewed results while we grabbed some lunch. The Dr. Called us with an update and told us we could pick up our dog. The folks at the vet hospital were all so nice and really went out of there way to accommodate Toby and get him thoroughly examined. I was both amazed and thankful. It's a great hospital.

I live in Marathon and have a very high energy, reactive dog who had a horrible life until we met. Now, we adventure HARD! Everyday. So it's imperative I have a Vet that I can call, and be able to see immediately when things go sideways sometimes. I thought I had it, but then the shoot hit the fan, and that wasn't the case. I called Marathon Vet Hospital, and was in the office within 4 hours.
Great thorough visit with Doctor Whipple, who took an extra step on injury that we have seen before to make sure everything was OK. Had to call in the next day as well, twice, and the staff doesn't sound like you are bothering them with questions. From top to bottom, the staff is awesome. I ask a lot, and have a dog that needs extra attention in order to, well frankly, be able to live and be a dog. It's tiresome, and takes tons of effort. But so worth it, and I'm glad I have a Vet now that seems to understand.

We were vacationing in Key West and our dog developed a problem while pooping. There was blood in her stool. Trying to get just an appointment close to Key West was impossible. Fortunately someone mentioned the Marathon Vet Hospital. 47 miles away but we got an appointment same day. Dr. Tom and the staff are exceptional professionals and helped correct our dogs problem. We are forever grateful and will sing praises about this staff and Dr. Tom.

I have two JRT's that don't like to be left alone. We were staying in Marathon, after doing some research, Marathon Vet Hospital was recommended to us. What a wonderful recommendation. While visiting Key West, the girls stayed at Marathon Veterinary Hospital. The kennel staff were professional and very friendly. They asked all the right questions and I felt very comfortable leaving my girls there. I should also mention that this is, by far, the cleanest Vet/Kennel I have ever encountered.
