Maple Tree Veterinary Hospital

Our dogs have stayed at Maple Tree multiple times now. Their care is always top-notch. Prices are reasonable for the care and activities they receive. We typically add two days of Doggie Day Care to their week long stays.

We switched from Junaluska Animal Hospital which was very expensive and didn't seem very efficient or as caring and friendly as I would have liked. Maple Tree was very friendly, extremely accommodating, and much more reasonably priced. The staff and facility were excellent and Dr Birthright was patient and kind. He explained everything and offered options. I will be bringing all our animals there in the future.

Been taking both boys for two years and have had the best experience. Sometimes the wait is long but this is because Covid was happening this past year and I had to wait in the car. The vet always took her time to really thoroughly explain her assessment with me over the phone and go over options for things like flea treatment and heart worm preventative. Gave my little guy a saline shot once when he was feeling lethargic and sick, they are so great at rly going into detail about the different options I have.

Dr Birthright is very caring. He took extra time discussing my dogs behavior and genuinely cares about animals. It was a wonderful experience

Our tuxedo cat, Griffin, typically only sees the Vet for yearly shots but recently had 2 injuries. The Maple Tree hospital staff & Dr. Birthright are always willing to see our cat immediately and Griffin was able to get last minute appointments each time. Staff are always caring on the phone and take such good care of all three of our pets. We are so thankful for the extremely competent, professional and caring staff. We trust our pets are in good hands.

First time to see Dr. Birthright. Our dog is very anxious, but both the Dr. and his tech were great with him. Did a thorough exam and blood draw and our dog did fine. Glad to have found them.

This is the best vet I have ever been to. They truly care about my fur babies and treat them like their own. The dog camp is also phenomenal and I'm pretty sure my 9 month old loves it there more than he likes being at home.

Friendly staff, clean exam rooms. Very accommodating toward my pup who has vaccine allergies. This puts me at ease. Also. I must mention how awesome the staff was at getting my sister's dog in while they were visiting. Her pup had an ear infection. They even followed up two days later to see how she was doing.

Having just moved here I appreciated being able to get an appointment so quickly and for the excellent care they gave my dog. She is doing great and we're really happy to have found our new Vet.

Critical: Professionalism Did not appreciate the high pressure to not euthanize my beloved dog. It was a long decision process wrought with emotion anyway and then to be confronted and pressured right before the process - well it attempted to steal away the peace for my dog and me.

We use both the vet hospital and the dog camp, and we couldn't be happier with the staff and the service. Our vet (Dr. Justice) is wonderful, and the dog camp is our pup's favorite place. It's such a great experience for a dog; great for socialization, manners. Highest recommendation!

New to the area and needed an appt for our dog Max. Downloaded the app per their website and requested an appt for a sick visit. I was not expecting a next day appt or even a two or three day out appt as I have done management and technical work in veterinary medicine for the last 13 years in busy multiple doctor AAHA accredited multi speciality practices in Tampa and this time I needed a place to take my pet in a new area.

However to have to wait almost 2 weeks is flat out ridiculous. We would never let our patients wait that long because we would always block off several timeslots, days prior for those last-minute appointments or last-minute emergencies or sick patients that need to be seen sooner than later. I could even reason that us being new patients was part of the issue however we never even made new patients wait that long. Hope you guys are better able to accommodate patients in the future.

Rick is the best groomer ever! He's very caring and so friendly! We are going to miss him while he is on medical break but pray all goes well! All 5 of our fur babies are going to miss him!

Could not imagine a more wonderful and caring staff at Maple Tree Dog Camp and vet. Spring, Nicole, Amber, and the rest of the staff are wonderful with all of the dogs and take time to make everyone feel special. They helped our senior dog have some of the best experiences of her life and under their care extended our time with her. With our new puppy Maple Tree has helped her blossom into a sociable young dog. We are forever grateful for their time and energy and wouldn't trust our pups with anyone else.

What a wonderful experience every time I take my fur baby. They are so wonderful here.

Excellent facilities, Dr. Birthright very helpful and made suggestions that eased my wife's concerns Concerning Toby, our 12 yr. Old 4 legged child.

Maple Tree was the only vet in town that worked with us to get our sick kitty in for a consult ASAP. We are so grateful! As soon as we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. Our cat was very comfortable throughout the visit. The veterinarian devoted plenty of time to care for our cat and explained everything that was going on, and her rationale for recommended procedures, in detail. We are very pleased with the care and attention that our cat received and we will entrust our future veterinary needs to Maple Tree.

Maple Tree saved our pet's life by providing an affordable treatment for feline urinary blockage. It was one-tenth the cost of what we were quoted by another major vet in town and was far less invasive, with easier recovery. We are so grateful for the high quality/high value service! We had heard that Dr. McKinnon was an expert with cats and now we believe it!
