When we needed someone the most, Dr. Bernardo and Dr. Jones with the help of their staff were there. Our beloved twelve year old bunny needed help and Jacksonville no longer has any emergency exotic veterinarians but when we called, they were there without rushing us, with only caring and helping hands. Dr. Bernardo spent time with Moo and did everything that she was able to make him more comfortable.
She checked in on Moo personally after his visit. Moo passed away peacefully at home a few days ago and thinking back on all of the people that have lent a helping hand on making that possible, we couldn't leave her out. Her kindness is not something that we'll ever forget.

This is easily the best vet I've ever been to in my life. They helped me get a last minute appointment as a new customer, helped me get a health certificate for multiple baby rabbits in the same appointment and we're kind and knowledgeable helping me get what I needed. Their clinic is 2 hours away from me and I still prefer them over local vets. Highly recommend for rabbit owners.

They were really patient and knowledgeable and gentle with my dog, they have separate entrances for dogs vs cats which makes the animals a lot more comfortable, and all of the staff are just so great. It was my first visit, and another client in the waiting room told me she's been coming for 30 years to them and about how wonderful they've been with her pets.
They have good business hours that ensure that they're both available for the pets and to give the staff plenty of rest time (I'm a very big believer that happy workers make the rest of the business better) and just overall a really great visit. I'm happy to call this vet clinic the new source of all my visits so that I can keep my dog happy and healthy.

Love that this office has separate doors and waiting areas for dogs and cats. Our mature cat has been ill, and we were able to get a convenient appointment and a quick blood test done there on the premises so we don't have to schedule a follow up just to get meds or test results. We are new to Jacksonville, and I think we found our vet. Oh, and the cat waiting area has great decoration.

What don't I love about Dr. Jones?! We used Dr. Jones while we lived in JAX and moving away has given me extreme anxiety about ever finding another vet like her. She is extremely knowledgeable and admits when she doesn't know something and will find someone to get an answer. She is very honest with her care and doesn't try to get you to spend money. you don't need to spend and when you do have to spend money, we were often given discounts off of our bill or told to get insurance on our pet to help with costs.
I love that she is reachable through her emergency contact line and that she absolutely LOVES animals! If none of this convinces you of the quality care your animal will receive here, .

Dr. Jones is the most thorough veterinarian I have ever experienced. We have 3 exotic cats - 1 Bengal and 2 Savannah's. Other vets in the area told us that they were "afraid" of Savannah's and would not treat them. She immediately (literally) embraced them as her patients. All of the staff at this clinic are helpful, detailed and caring!
