Call
Lookout Veterinary Clinic We will do our best to accommodate your busy schedule. Please call the office if you do not receive an appointment confirmation within 24 hours. Please call the clinic directly at (602) 993-1660 for medical questions or if you need immediate attention! I have been to too many vets to count. Vets I went to high school with (many years ago), vets that were recommended by friends or good reviews.

Overtime and over 30+ dogs I have seen likely 30 or more vets and I have NEVER felt as comfortable as I do with Lookout Mountain.

As a teenager, Adam Schure vacillated between wanting to be a physician and a veterinarian. But after working summers and vacations at a Pittsburgh veterinary clinic through high school and college, he knew he wanted to be a vet. Adam did his undergraduate work at Carnegie-Mellon University and earned his VMD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
We at Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic welcome our new patients. Many important forms to help you during your visit can be downloaded via the New Client Forms page. All of the staff are amazing. They have taken care of all of our pets needs. Everything from routine check up's to emergency stitches. The doctors give you all of the information needed to make decisions about your dog's care and never try to pressure or upswell you. Their prices are very fair. When it was time to say goodbye to our oldest dog, they handled him and all of us with the utmost care.

Updated (6/15/2022) My dog means the world to me, so I only would take her to a vet. clinic that shares the same love and values toward our pets. Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic (LMVC) is that place that carry those values where they put your pet's health as their highest priority. They may not be perfect, but I believe everyone at this clinic strives to make your visit the most beneficial towards getting your pet healthy again.

Even when some issues do arise, LMVC quickly responds/acts to help resolve the situation ensuring you and your pet's needs are being met. Note: It's also nice to see LMVC recently adjusting their COVID policy to start allowing people back in the examination rooms while still making sure everyone is comfortable and safe.

Dr. Edens and the wonderful staff at Lookout Mountain Veterinary are AMAZINGGGG! Fellow pet owners. I'm sure you can relate to the stress and fear that comes along with visits to the vet and the anticipation of the prognosis. Dr. Edens has now treated 3 of our 6 babies (2 dogs, 1 cat), and she is honestly THE BEST EVER! What do I mean by that? I'm glad you asked. Dr. Edens is incredibly thorough, patient, compassionate, intelligent, kind, considerate, (.I could go on and on) human being and advocate for our fur babies we could possibly ask for in a Vet.

She sincerely cares about each and every patient that she encounters and devotes the time to ensure that us worried pet parents are adequately informed on the issues at hand, as well as the treatment options, risks, benefits, alternatives, etc. While making healthcare decisions for our babies can be quite challenging at times, she is fantastic at providing a clear, concise, objective opinion on what is truly best for her patients, communicated in an incredibly thoughtful and empathetic manner.

As an extra added bonus, the rest of the staff is also incredibly kind and caring which adds an extra layer of comfort when dropping off our babies for their appointments with their favorite doctor. In the event that it wasn't clear, 1000/1000 recommend!

Using covid as an excuse to separate pets from owners, which stresses out my dog. Staff and Lieberman use a lot of medical jargon to give patient owners the run-around and not actually answer the questions. Lieberman doesn't like being questioned, and is condescending. I believe this place and many other vet clinics these days use the same methods of getting people involved and worried about their fur babies in order to cash in on unnecessary appointments and blood work. "Your dog urinated a lot. and it shot straight out of her.

I mean a LOT of it." (Of course I wasn't where my dog was and she was stressed out about being handled by strangers, she is a bit overweight, has inverted girl parts, and just started phenobarbitol resulting in increased thirst and no potty break before the visit). Under all those circumstances, I can see why my dog peed during an exam. But vet seemed mystified about it. COME ON.

Wish me luck finding a vet clinic before this last dose of phenobarbital runs out, because Lieberman didn't seem to authorize another refill following my upset at an unnecessary exam and unwillingness to just accept the BS they dish out. Sure sign of a great vet there (not)!

I don't know what I would do without Dr. Edens and the team at Lookout Mt. The care and support they offer is unparalleled. A few of my senior rescues came to me with a lot health issues but no history. They helped me work through options and make my babies happy and healthy. I have a rescue doodle now who has real tummy issues and again we have got them all under control.

What I appreciate most being able to discuss with Dr. Edens end of life decisions with my senior dogs. Being able to openly discuss this incredibly difficult decision in a judgement free zone is priceless. It's the difficult part of senior rescue, having a support team to make the best decision for my pups is so important. The entire staff is professional, caring and top notch.

Dr Edens & the entire staff are fantastic. This has been my dog's vet for 5 years and they're great! They aren't only out for money like some vets are, they care about pets AND look out for their pet owners wallets, which is important as well.

We have been going here for almost 4 years, and I will continue to be forever grateful for the entire staff at LMVC. They continue to make time for us and always provide us with the best care. We are very lucky to have such great support and trusting professionals with our dog (who is practically a child in our eyes).
