Lone Rock Veterinary Hospital has been providing veterinary care for animals in Northeastern Park and Western Jefferson Counties for over 40 years. The Hospital is located 1 mile southwest of Pine Junction on U.S. Highway 285. Lone Rock Veterinary Hospital prides itself on providing modern and compassionate care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, reptiles and other exotics, as well as pet rodents and wildlife.
Our veterinary services include medical treatment, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, wellness care, acupuncture, massage and Class IV Laser Therapy, chemotherapy for the treatment of cancer, and behavioral and nutritional counseling.

Services
When you set up your appointment, you will be either scheduled for hospital admittance of your pet (if they have been examined recently) or you will be set up for a Pre-Surgical Consultation with a Veterinarian (if they have not been examined recently). Blood may be drawn for pre-anesthesia blood screening tests at the time of the pre-surgical consultation.
We currently have working relationships with three emergency centers on the south and west side of the Denver Metro area. All three are open for emergency services on weekends and throughout the evening and night. We have listed maps, phone numbers, and a brief description of each center's characteristics.

Dr Johnson has been our vet for years. I am willing to drive all the way up from the city for her to treat my pets. Dr. Johnson is a very knowledgeable, excellent Veterinarian. She really cares about her patients and their owners. So thankful she has always been there for us. The ladies in the office and the assistants are also very kind and caring.

I can't say enough about Lone Rock. My dog and I are newer clients, but I've been incredibly impressed. I have found that all of the staff have been incredibly warm, thorough, and knowledgeable. My dog is my world and I tend to be very nervous over her, and I feel that all of my questions and concerns have been heard out with compassion. All options and possibilities regarding diagnosis/treatment have been meticulously explored and explained.
I have also found that their practice is significantly more affordable than other vets I've been to. Vetmed is definitely not an easy industry to be in, especially these days, but Lone Rock staff really go above and beyond. My dog and I are lucky to have them!

While it appears modest at the outset, don't be fooled - this veterinary clinic is WONDERFUL. From the kind women at the front desk, to the outgoing and gentle techs, to the veterinarians themselves, we've been so impressed. In particular, Dr. Dawn helped care for our beloved cat, Tibby, in her last weeks with us, and it is obvious that caring for animals is not just Dr. Dawn's job, but is her calling and something she is passionate about.
She is so sweet, compassionate, and genuine; we truly felt so fortunate that Tibby was under her care. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lone Rock Veterinary Hospital to anyone who counts animals as members of their family.

The front desk ladies are wonderful and pleasant. I was not impressed after that. I came looking for help for my dog that is chronically sick. We've been to vet after vet and tried so many things. I left feeling like somehow I was to blame for her illness, but also no suggestions or ideas of how to get her better except to go seek testing elsewhere.

Lone Rock is the best veterinary clinic I have been to in a very long time! The customer service and animal care they provide is truly outstanding! My sweet dog had an emergency today and I showed up first thing this morning so scared and worried for my dog, and they got my dog in, made me feel so welcomed and comforted and took incredible care of my baby.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! The doctors, vet techs and front desk staff are phenomenal! Every single employee at this clinic is amazing! Reasonable prices, they are truly here to help you and your pets. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Thank you Lone Rock for your amazing business!

I don't recommend this place. I have an immediate problem with any vet's office who immediately disregards my knowledge of my pet. I had a terrible experience here when I had to come in to euthanize my elderly dog. Their first concern was getting as much money from me as possible, not the comfort of my dying pet. NEVER again.
