Our primary mission is to deliver the best and most comprehensive veterinary care available for your pet. An important part of the mission is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our clients as possible by offering several payment options. Little Apple Veterinary Hospital requires payment in full at the end of your pet's examination and/or at the time of discharge.
We have been AAHA-Accredited since 2010! Our hospital undergoes comprehensive evaluations regularly on almost 900 rigorous veterinary standards of excellence. We are proud to be one of the 15% of AAHA-accredited hospitals in the United States and Canada. AAHA Standards of Accreditation cover patient care pain management, anesthesia, surgery and more that are crucial to the delivery of high-quality veterinary care. To be accredited by AAHA, our hospital must demonstrate an exceptional level of medical care and client service.
At the Little Apple Veterinary Hospital, we groom Monday through Saturday, with extended hours for drop-off and pick-up for your convenience. Our business hours are M-F, 7-7, and Saturday, 8-5. We also offer cat grooming!. We are more than happy to vaccinate your pet while they are here for grooming if necessary.
We are more than happy to vaccinate your pet while they are here if there are any vaccines they need. All boarding, playtime, and other authorized services performed while your pet is boarding must be paid in full prior to your pet's stay. We charge our full boarding price per overnight stay. For pets that are dropped off and picked up on the same day and are not boarding overnight (day boarding), we charge half of the overnight boarding price.

Great experience. Understanding. Professional. The vet was so good with my sick dog. Worked with my budget. Was upfront about costs as I simply asked for that and they were very accommodating. My dog was an emergency situation. I was thankful to get her in as quickly as they did. I had been in tears over the thought of losing my dog so soon. They also called to check up on her. She's now doing much better and her babies.

I can't tell you how helpful and accommodating this clinic was for me yesterday. I requested that they grab my pets from my vehicle to do their exams and they had no issues. Dr. Lindquist even came out and spoke with me about any concerns. I was sent home with a free goodie bag with a few different dental treats and food for my dog with dental issues, and was even sent home with a baseline dental estimate!
You guys have been our vet before for our dog Roxxi when we first started out, and we visited you at a low-cost vaccine clinic at Petco a long time ago. It has been so nice coming back to you after all of these years and still receiving the honest, straightforward service we received back then. You are so awesome!

We have gotten a lot of great care there over the years. And today, my beautiful old girl had a crisis and they were there for us with tons of loving care and empathy. Dr. Liz is so compassionate and knowledgeable and really listens and the techs who assisted us were compassionate and so very helpful. Thank you Little Apple!

On Saturday at noon I called the Little Apple Veterinary Hospital regarding 2 puppies we rescued that were scratching. They were able to get us in the same day. Everyone from the Lady at the front desk to Dr. Lindquist was awesome. Everyone took the time to explain everything that was going on and everything that we needed to do to care for the puppies.
We will continue to make the drive from Topeka to Manhattan to receive care for our 2 babies. Unexpected to us, they even called us Sunday evening to make sure the babies were ok.

I started going to Little Apple Vet shortly before my Jack Russell was diagnosed with cancer. Dr. LIndquist is a wonderful and caring Dr who even took the time to send me a sympathy card when we had to take her to K state vet to be put down on a Sunday, (Dr Lindquist was out of town) Since then we have gotten another dog and I am very pleased with the care she has been given.
She is kind of cautious around strangers but remembered Dr. Lindquist from the previous times and knows she gives plenty of love and attention as well as treats. Some reviews thought they were over priced. I found they are no more expensive as any other vet. My friend switched to Little Apple after her animal doctor could not cure her dogs ears from itching.
She spent hundreds of dollars on allergy test, medication, office visits and got no where. She went to Little Apple and they gave her dog one shot and his ears were 100% better and only has to return every couple of months for another shot. I am very pleased with Little Apple and have no concerns at all.

I am a student at K-State and I took my hedgehog, Calvin, there for his cancer treatment and all of the doctors and vet techs were so empathetic and caring all the way up to me having to put Calvin down. I love this vet and won't go to any other in Manhattan. They were very accommodating to my school and work schedule I feel loved every time I go in. I can't wait to bring my other hedgehog, Badger, in for his first check up! Thanks, LAV!

Last year I took my rat in who've I had for 4 years with 2 tumors. They were able to see me the day I called and scheduled the surgery for just a couple of days after. The surgery was successful and not as expensive as I thought it would be. When I had to bring her back in again this year, they were very helpful and coached me on what to look for at home to better help her. They are very courteous and professional.
