When you arrive for your curbside appointment: please remain in your vehicle and call the office at (503) 585-1616 to check-in with a receptionist who will take your contact information and relay it to a technician. A technician will call you back shortly to begin your appointment and gather all the required information.Next, a staff member will meet you in the parking lot to collect your pet from you; please wear a mask while handing off your pet to a staff member. We do ask that you remain in the parking lot for the duration of the appointment.

Dr. Crawford has been providing quality veterinary care in Salem since she graduated from Washington State University in 1997. She has a special interest in internal medicine and ultrasound. Dr. Crawford was raised in a small town in Nebraska and has always wanted to be a veterinarian. She continuously surrounded herself with animals; either spending time on her uncle's dairy farm, collecting stray animals or riding her pony as a child. She loves caring for her clients' pets and has experience with internal medicine, surgery, dentistry and ultrasound.
We understand that seeing a familiar face can put both animals and people at ease. We do have some new members and are pleased to introduce our wonderful staff, so you can get to know us. She enjoys making rings and hanging out with friends. She also has a cat name Callie. Aubree enjoys taking her dogs on hikes/walks, spending time with friends & family, reading, and expanding her Veterinary knowledge. Her goal is to run her own dog rescue one day. He also has a Frog named Rana, a Tortoise named Tortuga and 2 Guinea Pigs (Daisy and Daffodil).
Dr. Crawford and OVVC has been involved with our community. From talks at local schools to job shadows to externships for vet students to just good ole fashion fun, we love getting involved. When we switched veterinarians after a malpractice I wanted to find a quality practice for my two fur babies and, after researching reviews and rankings we narrowed it down and ultimately chose Orchard View. We have been working with Dr Crawford for a few years now and have received excellent care. My older girl has complex medical requirements and they have been instrumental in supporting the health of both my babies. Bunny and Sebastien mean everything to me and are emotional support animals for me. I recommend this business.

My pets have been seen here for a couple of years due to a family member being employed here. HOWEVER. now that this person is not employed here, I have run into some issues. The #1 thing is that they want to have your per seen for just about anything and everything. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big believer in preventative care, but being required to bring your dog in every time they need flea meds is ridiculous.
That's NOT the only thing but just an example. Theres also the FACT of their TERRIBLE record keeping. In general, I get a sense of being "taken for a ride" EVERY time I need something for my pet and I'm tired of paying out the @$$ for mediocrity. It ends now. I thank them for their service, but I will be going elsewhere and dealing with folks with more competence. They are "nice", but "nice" doesn't excuse unnecessary visits. That's called "greed"

Orchard View have great staff and accommodating with my pet's needs. The staff truly care and that's great! However, staff need to talk to their customers about how much procedures cost before treatment is administered. I would also recommend that infections are treated. Guidance states infection should be treated for 14 days and not 7 days. Short cuts cost the customers money, $700 dollars later, my pup is still has an infection. During this situation, my pup was dealing with a bad situation. Staff were attentive, kind and professional, bit I will not be going back.
