Practice Administrator
Dr. Smith is the primary doctor at the Lindale Veterinary Clinic, a Christian based, family oriented corporation. She earned her bachelor of science (1992) and doctor of veterinary medicine (1996) degrees from Texas A & M University. She enjoys working with both large and small animals, showing Golden Retrievers, and breeding French Bulldogs. Dr. Smith is one of the few veterinarians in the state certified in PennHip. She emphasizes client education and feels that it greatly enhances pet health. She wants to work with owners to achieve optimum health and quality of life for their pets. She focuses her interests in medicine, surgery, veterinary dentistry, and radiology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association

Our black lab dog had major life threatening toxin issues and was referred by your clinic to VCA Metroplex Animal Hospital in Irving, TX. The move saved the dog. Great location. Easy to find, has handicap parking, wheelchair accessible. Very clean and comfortable for pets and people. Staff is wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Very pleasant and professional at the same time. Very welcoming and accommodating group. See the veterinarian by appt and a tech first. Seem to always be on time. The facility is New and has very up scale areas for our fury family. My pug is a new patient there and after our visit today I know that is where we will stay. This vet has been extremely uncooperative, overpriced, and blatantly disregarding proper animal care. We brought our dog in for a mass removal, but were charged an additional $190 for an unauthorized teeth cleaning, on top of poor patient care. When we brought it to their attention, they deflected their faulty instruction and forced us to find another vet. Theft by dishonest and unethical treatment of animals! Very disappointed by the lack of integrity of this organization.

Just moved to the area from Houston and my dog had to have an emergency surgery. None of the other vets would take us in as a new patient even though it was an emergency. Lindale Veterinary Clinic is the best vet I've been to! Very friendly staff and genuinely cared! Squeezed my dog in between appointments after her emergency surgery to get her the care she needed!

This was our first visit to the Lindale Pet Hospital. We found it to be a wonderful place. I was greeted by friendly staff as I entered this very clean facility. There was an exam room ready for our dog when we arrived. The technician and veterinarian, Dr. Reeves were very caring, attentive, and professional. We will definitely be bringing all our animals here! I highly recommend this veterinarian hospital!

When I first came to Lindale, I chose a vet in that came highly recommended. I was disappointed. Leave that at that. I'm so happy that I found Lindale Veterinary clinic. The staff is so efficient and compassionate. I'm pretty sure this is my first yelp review, and this clinic encouraged me to let you know that your fur baby will been well taken care of here.

I recently had to euthanize my 13 year old yellow lab. He was around 100 pounds and very arthritic so we couldn't get him into a vehicle. Dr. Smith has been making house calls for us for about a year and a half. She has helped us to manage his pain and gastric issues. On this particular day that we knew that it was time, Dr. Smith had a very full schedule with surgeries and appointments.
I explained to the office staff that my husband was going out of town and that I would not be able to lift my sweet dog should he get down and not be able to get up. The office staff told me that they would talk to Dr. Smith when she came in. She was able to squeeze us into her busy schedule even though it was a lengthy house call. She was so kind and patient with us during this stressful situation despite the fact that her schedule was packed and she was leaving town the next day. I will forever be grateful to her.

We are new to the Lindale area and have been looking for a Vet for our boy. Lindale Veterinary Clinic came recommended to us by a friend. Took our furbaby to the clinic yesterday for the first time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The clinic itself was so nice. Love all the reminder text, emails and calls. Treating us like family from the first call I made to schedule the appointment. They spent the time with us and made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. They stood up to the recommendation. We've found the place to care for our boy.

I love this Vet Clinic! We work with Dr. Smith and she is great to deal with! Always willing to listen to and address any concerns I have. The facility is beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff is great from the front office to the techs! Friendly and great to work with! I have a lot of dogs and I feel that the fees they charge are very reasonable! I am looking forward to many years with this clinic!

The following review was our personal experience and reflects only that. Tried this clinic for 2 visits and one farm call in 2018-2019. (3 appts total) Initially left 2 positive reviews on their personal portal. After the farm call, it became clear that I could no longer in good conscience ever recommend this vet clinic to anyone. At this time I retract my former reviews to say. Summary: -Vet refused to return phone call regarding follow up on farm call. Had receptions call saying I needed to make another appt. for the farm call I had just had.? Refused to discuss results. -Charged a blistering $150.00 for a farm call within a short range. (Almost twice as much as some other vets in the area, $75.00 & $80.00 with 2 other vets) -Could not or would not give a diagnosis for a cat seen by them 3 separate times for the same issue.
If they did not know, they can say this, that is ok. No comment by them on why no advancement or change in treatment for this animal. - Poor communication. -Strange to have security cameras in the private exam rooms. Was told that all phone calls were recorded as well when I commented on extra security. We could not, based on our personal experience, ever recommend this clinic. Lindale, TX

Wonderful service. I moved up here from the Austin area and didn't know which vet to go to because I don't know anyone up here. Luckily I selected Lindale veterinary clinic. They are incredibly friendly and now my dog doesn't have fleas either! The price was way less than I expected and they took great care of my dog.

First class clinic. Never have had an issue or bad experience. Yes they are busy and that's because they are one of the top clinics in east Texas. They were recommended to us when we moved to the area 2 years ago. We board our lab there close to once a month due to business travel and alwa us come back to a happy dog.

So sad to be moving to another clinic but this one is just too far from Dallas. We brought an injured dog that we found to the surgeon. They took such amazing care of him - between the surgery and physical therapy he has gone from, basically, a three legged dog as his leg had no mobility at all to a completely normal dog that runs and plays and rolls around. If I ever have a dog who needs a serious surgery again, I'll make the trip out to Lindale for the better level of care.

I don't mind making appointments when it's necessary, but when I want to just ask a simple question over the phone about how much allergy over the counter medicine to give and I'm told I need to make an appointment--that's where I draw the line. I don't really know how good the vets are because I haven't been able to see one on my numerous appointments except one time, because I was only able to use a tech most of the time. I'm switching Veternarians because at least I can see a vet and I can call for simple questions without always being told THAT I NEED AN APPOINTMENT!

I have never taken my pets to another Vet clinic and therefore have nothing to compare with. With that being said, I am so impressed with Lindale Veterinary Clinic that I never intend to take my pets anywhere else. They are friendly, professional, great with my dogs, patient with my million questions, accommodating to schedules, and I really feel they go over an above to help my dogs and me be a better pet owner.

Love this place! I have lived here for 3 yrs and I always get the best care for my fur babies!! Dr. Burns is awesome with my American Bulldog. Most people stereo type him by his looks. But he really is a very sweet little boy. She gave him the love and care he needed, and he took to her immediately!!! I always refer people to this place when they are trying to find a good vet. Its important!
