A blood test can be performed while you wait, to determine whether or not your pet has been infected with heartworms. Dr. Keller became our third veterinarian at Lewis Animal Hospital in 2016. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She previously attended Western Kentucky University for her undergraduate studies. She and her husband, Dr. Larry Keller have two sons and two dogs: Groot and Batman.
I grew up in Cincinnati and began working at Lewis Animal Hospital as a veterinarian assistant when I was fourteen years old. I loved working with the animals, clients, and veterinarians at Lewis so much that I remained a veterinarian assistant through high school and then during summers when I was home from my undergraduate studies at UNC Chapel Hill.
K'eniya attended North College Hill High School in North College Hill, Ohio. She also studied at the Diamond Oaks Career Campus in Cincinnati for veterinary assisting. Additionally, K'eniya participated in the Veterinary Technology Program at the Bradford School in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to working as a Veterinary Technician at Lewis Animal Hospital, K'eniya worked for a mobile dog grooming service.

The staff is amazing and caring -- for people and pets! The new facility is amazing with lots of room for boarding. The veterinarians take the extra steps to always follow up after an appointment and provide helpful resources/info for care. I can't say enough good things about Lewis Animal Hospital!

A wonderful animal hospital. They took great care of the pup after her spaying and watched her for a night to make sure she was healing up well without any problems. The surgical site looks clean and closed up nicely. I appreciate the option to use laser therapy for minimal inflammation and allowing a more rapid recovery without complication. I also appreciate the responsiveness through phone calls and emails.

I brought my dog, Kingsley, in for a visit regarding a small cough he had. The staff was INCREDIBLE! my dog is very dog reactive and they accommodated that by getting him into a room right away. Because he is so dog reactive I have to muzzle him anytime he might be around other dogs and I always feel so bad because people see the muzzle and they automatically assume he's a mean when really he is the SWEETEST dog with people. However, the staff here was not phased AT ALL by his muzzle and they immediately approached him and started giving him ALL the love and pets he could ever hope for! I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door. If I could give 50 stars I would! Great experience all around

The whole experience was great. They had my dog feeling better before the next day. I didn't go to my regular vet because they were pricey and didn't have an appointment the same day. Called lewis animal hospital and they were fantastic. Got me in quick, took care of my dog, eased my anxiety and were affordable. Making this my regular vet for all my animals. Definitely recommend.
