Regular physical exams allow us to understand your pet's development and wellness over time.
Laboratory testing, including blood work or urinalysis, provides important information about overall health. For healthy pets, it allows our veterinarians to monitor function over time and identify illness early. For sick pets, it helps our staff determine the source of the illness and thereby create an effective treatment plan.

I absolutely love this place! All of the vets, Dr. Levitas and Dr. McCready in particular, are fantastic. They are compassionate and understanding, and I can truly say this is the first vet office I've felt has wanted to 100% help me and my babies from day 1 through whatever curveballs came our way. They do not sugarcoat diagnoses, rather they deliver bad news - if there is any - thoroughly and kindly.
I started by bringing my chinchilla here as Dr. Levitas was one of the only vets to treat exotic animals in my area, and I've since brought all my babies through here as I was so impressed with the level of care given. I can't imagine trusting my furbabies with any other vet office.

I feel like the vet practically came in and then rushed us right out after we waited a little over 30 minutes to be seen. Took no time to get to know us or our pet as new patients. Not to mention when I got my ferret back out of his carrier after the appointment he's gushing blood from the vaccine which shouldn't happen at all. I will say thank you for the very rushed time we spent at your office and seeing him, but we will not be returning and will be utilizing a different office at this time. I give one star due to the one polite tech we saw. She was great!

I've been bringing various cats here for about 20 years. Everyone on the staff has always been wonderful but recently, when my needs were greater due to a pretty sick cat, they've stepped up even more. The doctors are knowledgeable, caring with the animals and so compassionate and understanding with the humans. The staff is equally caring and so helpful! I can't say enough good things about my experiences there!

The most caring place for your pets. The receptionists, and techs are the best at asking and answering important questions The practice is very accommodating in getting your pets in to be seen in a quick manner. All the doctors are attentive, caring, and willing to walk you through anything you are asked to do for your pets while recuperating at home Messages are answered quickly with clear answers, and they make time to get you back ASAP if needed It's the BEST!

Everything was great - we had switched from another vet and I was so pleased with the care and attention that was paid to my cat before and during the exam! Even when he was being a little naughty while the nurses were trying to get vitals, they were professional and reported to the scribe that "Patient declines rectal temperature check" and moved on! Dr. Godsey took his time discussing the concerns we had come in for and obviously truly cares about each of his patients! Also, the front desk coordinators were so friendly and helpful answering my questions about documentation. We are so happy we switched to AHMLS!
