Everyone is so always patient, friendly and attentive. On this day I was in the waiting area and a lady was checking out when her dog starting pooping all over the floor. She never offered or even attempted to clean it up which I felt was extremely rude and just left. However the ladies behind the front desk immediately went to get cleaning supplies and cleaned it up without complaint. I'm sure this happens often but I was impressed by their professionalism. I was clearly more bothered by it than they were. Anyway, I highly recommend Kyle Animal Hospital.

Kind and fantastic staff. The wait was a little long, but the conversation with Dr. Cord Offenbacher was worth waiting for. My small 6-yo rescue suffers from epilepsy and Dr. O was patient in explaining the best plans for her health. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is compassionate with my concerns. I highly recommend this vet clinic for all local pet owners.

OMG! the staff here is so awesome! everyone is so nice and generous. And they really helped me and my pup Dusty to their best ability. They even had toys and coloring books to occupy my sons time. Dr Gupta and his assistant were so sincere and took care of Dusty like he was their own! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet. 5 STARS in my book! WE HAVE FOUND OUR FOREVER VET!

Left my pup there over the weekend. When she was picked up, she smelled like urine. Come to find out they never checked on her the day before she was picked up. She was stuck in her kennel all day and night with a urine saturated blanket. Wanted a refund for that day she wasn't taken care of but they wouldn't do it. Very disappointing. Needless to say she will not be staying there anymore!

They are all amazing. Great staff, Friendly people and all of the doctors are amazing. It's not the cheapest place and cheapest prices but you get what you pay for. I feel like they truly care about my pets!

Kyle Animal Hospital finding their incompetency funny definitely will follow up with my complaint with the state veterinary licensing board, veterinary medical association, Better Business Bureau, and the local animal control agency/humane society. They have hurt pets before and I'm sure they'll do it again and disgusting people like them don't deserve to get away with it.

Great vet from start to finish! I called this morning worried about my dog because her allergies have been awful and had to leave a voice-mail. Within 5 minutes I received a call back and they offered an opening within 30 minutes so I took it and am so glad I did! When I walked in they could tell that my dog is super anxious around other dogs and people so they immediately placed us in a room which I appreciated.

The assistant and vet were extremely patient, very thorough and listened. My dog appears aggressive with strangers and they never once made me feel judged for her behavioral issues. They gave me a referral for a behavioral specialist and took my dog to another exam room to be looked at without me. They put forth a lot of effort and energy towards getting my baby checked out.

They gave options for treatment and provided pricing to help me decide. It certainly wasn't cheap but I also received several medications. The women at the front were absolutely amazing as well! They didn't make me feel awkward about being concerned of how I was going to afford everything and came up with solutions. All in all, I was really impressed by the service, care, cleanliness and compassion at this vet!

Friendly staff, COVID conscious, and they actually care about your pet. Instead of just slapping me with a bill, they printed a list of possible options with prices included so I could take the time to work out what's best for me and my doggo. Very happy I found this place! They can also split up your bill into payments if needed.

The place itself is not that bad (but deff not the best) but I would warn anyone that has a pitbull who so much as barks will have a hard time getting their dog actually physically checked out. I've been going there for a couple years now because I moved into town but I've lived in both Austin and San Marcos- and I have NEVER been met with the kind of bias against my dog as this male vet recently displayed.

Not at ANY other veterinary places have we had problems (and we've been to several over the 7 years of her life, at least 4 different places). She did not even GROWL at this male vet during the visit and I was told by him later that she was an aggressive dog who needed to wear a muzzle prior to coming to the property. I tried asking what exactly did she do to warrant this requirement but was not given a sufficient answer besides she was a dangerous dog (ummm all dogs are dangerous?) Needless to say I shall not be returning here, and was actually encouraged not to. Pit bulls are NOT welcome here.

Not sure if they did not just respect me or my dog, but they could not find what was wrong with my 4 month old puppy, with her excessive itching, scratching and licking, we saw several doctors different times, and the most recent was the worst. We had Dr. Matthews and another vet tech in the room and chose to say to me that they "had no answers" for me because my 7month old puppy growled when he repeatedly kept petting her after showing signs of being uncomfortable.

I told them that we were getting my pup into training and behavioral Classes but I wanted my pup to be in good health and which they could not provide any adequate answers. As they left the room I could hear them talking about my dog and repeatedly saying that she is ridiculous and she's not safe and very dangerous. I told this to the vet tech when she came back into the room and she began to say "oh no I'm so sorry she is so sweet".

This is what made me upset because it was very unprofessional to talk behind closed doors and could not say this to me until I brought it up. The doctor then said that it would be better to euthanize her and that it would be better if we didn't come back. The tech would also look at my dog through out the visit and say don't look at me like that" "stop looking at me like that" and "don't be dramatic you're not gonna die" TO MY DOG? While my pup just sat there. Overall very disappointed!

Senior Health plan buyers beware! This review is speaking specifically to their Senior Health plan that they sell. Staff in general was attentive and courteous. I can only speak to the Sr health plan as that is what I purchased but would imagine same scrutiny should be applied to other health plans they offer. We purchased the Sr. Health plan for our dog as we were there for a somewhat normal visit and they sold my wife on the value of the plan opposed to just paying cash up front knowing that my dog would also need a teeth cleaning in the future.

Think the annual plan was around $1,000. Took the dog in for the cleaning and was called to be told my dog needed 5 extractions for almost an additional $1,000. The last dental cleaning I had for my dog at another vet about 4 years ago she needed 10 teeth removed and the total for all 10 was $300. I am not saying that the plan is not a value for some but I am saying it is a way for them to sell you on coming back to them for the dental work to potentially way overcharge you for tooth extractions which are more than likely needed for older dogs. I would do you research before buying this plan from them.

We took our two cats Sylvester and Happy to have a wellness check and have their ears looked at. We had a very bad experience at another vet in South Austin. And were worried how our cats would react? Words cannot express how wonderful, gentle, caring, loving, thoughtful the entire staff at Kyle animal hospital is. Upon greeting us as we walked in Tanya and Jade were already getting our room ready for our appointment. Dr Greenleaf and Carina handled our cats with kindness and ease. Using soft voices and towels, moving very slowly, they really know how to deal with cats.

The male cat has a bad attitude, but they were able to check his ears and eyes and figure out both our cats had a ear infection. Received the medicine and very good instructions. Also Dr Greenleaf answered all our questions. And really took time with us. We did not feel rushed, we felt very welcome and we appreciate that. We will be back at a later date to get nails trimmed and check on their ears.

I wanted to update my last review because I feel like the response I received from the clinic fro what I shared was truly above and beyond. As a result I've been back twice with my puppy and I am super happy with the service and care from all the staff we encountered.

I absolutely love this vet! Dr Gupta and his staff have been taking very good care of my Staffordshire who tore both ACL's. They do offer multiple ways to afford payment plans for different services. Very patient with my dog after bad experience with another vet. They give him love from the time we walk in to the time we walk out. They are simply the best!

Absolutely the nicest, most caring and competent group of people working here! They squeezed us in when our dog was sick and our regular vet couldn't get us in. I was blown away by how accommodating they were. This is now our regular vet, it's a little bit of a drive from Austin but SO worth it!

The staff, receptionists, techs and doctors, at Kyle vet are amazing! They treat my dogs and me with the utmost respect. They tell me what to expect after vaccinations. what to look for if they should react. For an anxiety person, this is huge. They love my pets and the pets of everyone in the office. Friendly dogs and people all over the place. That's how you know. Knowledgeable, caring, and lovely.

Great service with super friendly and caring staff. I brought my 13 year old African Grey parrot in for a beak and nail trim. Quick, efficient and economical. I will definitely keep coming back for all of my aviary needs. Edit: I now have a Pomeranian puppy. She only goes to Kyle Animal Hospital for her veterinary needs.

I've been taking my dogs to Kyle Animal Hospital since I moved to Texas in 2007. The staff is always friendly and you can tell they care about your pets. I've had to have older pets euthanized when it was evident they were in pain and not living a quality life. Dr. Cord was so caring and understanding how painful losing a part of your family is.

I now live an hour from Kyle and still drive there for my pet care. I hear people say they are a little pricey and that is a concern. I'm always given an estimate before any procedure is done and my choice for or declining something is understandable and I've never felt bad in my decision. I would recommend Kyle Animal Hospital.

I researched this vet clinic online. They have many services on site. I chose this clinic because we have cats that entering their senior years. Cats can become high maintenance as they age. This clinic listened to our concerns and gave more than one option for testing and treatment. They were prompt on scheduling testing and calling in an Rx. We will be returning to the clinic for all our veterinary needs.

Something to remember they take emergency cases too, so your wait might be longer at originally anticipated. Once in the exam room full focus is on your pets needs. Our pet was comfortable with the technician and the veterinarian.

I went in for my dogs vaccinations and had absolutely no problems at all. Doctor was very nice and informative. However their grooming department is questionable at best.at least in making an appointment. I understand they must be backed up like everyone else but as far as their communication goes well there is none. I called 3 days in a row and never got a call back.

On the third day I did talk to someone and she gave me attitude and then transferred me over to someone in grooming finally because I told her I was going to come down there. When the groomer got on the phone she was really short and couldn't be bothered with me and gave me a date and no other options. The date was also a ways out which I understand but if I could have got a return call the first or second day I may have got an earlier appointment. Look they are busy I get it but dang show a little care. The 3 stars are for the vet sector of the building. Grooming gets a donut.

Always an exceptional experience of quality care, compassion and love toward our pet family Reasonably priced and they will give several options of care so that people can choose which best fits their pets and their needs! You will be delighted to put your beloved fur family in their loving hands!

I can not say enough great things about this animal hospital. They helped us in a very emotional time. Everyone was extremely sweet, understanding and supportive. I can't go into the emotional details but I from now on am more than willing to drive from North Austin to Kyle for all my pet needs. Tonya is the only name I remember and she was wonderful.

Other than the cost, this place is amazing. Parking is good. Walk in and you are treated. They are wearing masks and some have gloves so safety is important. They talk to your pet in a calming way and reassure you that the visit will be good. Once they call you with the info on your let, you can pick up and they will explain in detail everything that was done and give recommendations. If this place wasn't so far from us we would continue to take our pup there.

I unfortunately have had to visit Kyle Animal Hospital multiple times this past year for emergency situations. Dr. Mathews has exceeded my expectations every visit. I trust him, and feel like he looks at every case as if it was his own pet. He won't do anything extra he feels is unnecessary, and the communication alone is worth five stars. The whole team is great, especially Tonya!

No matter what's going on her working the front desk puts a smile on my face. This is my vet for life and I recommend them to anyone in the Buda/Kyle area. Thanks for all you have done for me guys!

Three main things from my experience: 1) Really friendly staff, great follow up and information provided for my 8 week old puppy 2) Unfortunately said staff didn't give me proper instructions on a vaccine (I was NOT told to refrigerate what they gave me). Luckily I found out from another vet that I needed to refrigerate it or else it wouldn't be effective. 3) The vaccines I paid for there cost 4x as much as the average.

On top of that I was offered information on a package that seemed to be just as overpriced and with only a certain amount of time to decide. Super salesy/ pushy if you ask me!

Today i had to euthanize my 17 year old dog. The staff here were very compassionate and caring especially during this crazy Covid time. They allowed family to stay with Bonita and encouraged us to take our time saying goodbye. Thanks to everyone there who showed both my beloved pet and the family compassion and patience, not worrying about keeping us socially distanced from our pet as we said goodbye. She passed away peacefully in seconds and I am sorry I didn't get the names of the staff to convey how truly appreciated they are!

Well I was hoping to write a nice review but glad I waited. The staff was SUPER friendly but that's about all that's good. I waited almost an hour after my appt to be seen. 13 year old dog, blood in urine, BTW. There two hours, found out bad infection and got prescriptions and some UA tools to take sample back in 10 days.brought it in Thursday afternoon, got a call Friday from Dr around 2pm, called back several times and went to voicemail, left message once. Called again this Sat morning, Dr isn't there and nobody can tell me anything.also told me I called at 5:54.ummm that may have been when I left a message but there's clear photos I tried before then.

So now waiting on a DIFFERENT Dr while hopefulLy my dog isn't sitting here still with an infection and no medicine. Not impressed. I pray if somEthing was still wrong more effort would have been made on their part. ***Update, the Dr that was there did call me back and let me know there was still an infection. He told me to take her somewhere else!

We were nervous to leave our pups somewhere. However, our experience was excellent. I felt completely at ease when Sam came out to tell me how their over night stay went. Thank you so much for being there for Maggie and Annie!

I called to ask if I should have been concerned about my dog eating a cough drop. I was told to call another number (even tho I WAS a client). When I called the poison number they informed me they would only help for $65 after I waited a good 15 minutes. I've never had a vet who wouldn't answer a question via phone and just handed me off. I will be taking my business elsewhere where they have a tad more compassion for their patients.

We just moved from California and have been battling Jemma's allergies and skin issues for what seems like most of her 4 years of life. I am so glad I found KAH. Dr. Matthews took my concerns seriously and got Jemma on the right regimen to help get her the best relief possible. Jemma is happier than ever and back to her goofy self!

KAH has the friendliest and most dedicated staff in the Kyle and Buda area. We have been in Buda since 1998 and have been going to KAH almost that entire time. We tried others when we first moved to Buda but once we found KAH we know as long as we live in Buda this will be our choice of service for our pets.

We use Kyle animal hospital for grooming, boarding as well as healthcare for our pup and cat. Always feel confident to call on them in an emergency or a simple question. The team always cares about what my concern is. Never going anywhere else. Have used them for almost five years.

I love this vet! I have been twice with my dog. My dog has bad skin allergies that causes him to get rashes under his leg, tail, belly, and on his paws. They answer all of my questions and help me choose the best options to help alleviate my dogs itchiness and pain. I love the atmosphere of this veterinarian office and the staff is so nice! I also love the KAH app that they have. It makes scheduling and keeping track of appointments super easy!
