Kingstowne Cat Clinic

Don't come here if you're not an absolutely perfect pet parent. I left enraged and literally in tears because Suzanne Trosclair is a mean-spirited, condescending, and unforgiving vet. She judged me the second she saw me in the waiting room and brought that negativity into every moment of our appointment. The vet techs, manager, and receptionists are really quite sweet though. I also suspect that the veterinarian/owner at the practice is friendlier based on my limited interaction with her through other people that worked there.

The vet bill is punishment enough, I don't need Ms. Trosclair to demean me.

I knew that I was going into this vet and I was going to get chastised for not bringing him in initially. But I was not prepared for the genuinely mean-spirited way that Suzanne Trosclair talked to me. From the beginning of the appointment, she was condescending. And she was late.

I was willing to address anything that came up. She told me that his mouth was severely decayed and he needs teeth pulled. I said that we would do the procedure and I legitimately didn't know what else she wanted me to say. But she never seemed satisfied with anything I was offering to do to make it right.

I left in tears. I paid $300 for a couple of vaccines, a urine test, and to be verbally abused by a woman. Please, please, please do not come here. I went straight to the Animal Care Hospital after and they were so apologetic when I told them what happened at the Kingstone Cat Clinic. I'm so disappointed in this clinic. I had such high hopes of finding a smaller vet office and potentially finding somewhere that I can go to for the next 20 years like all of the other posters on this website. But I can't say I'll ever return here. I've never been spoken to this way at Banfield and that is just so sad.

She decided to judge me the moment she saw me in that waiting room. Don't come here. I don't want someone to be disheartened the way that I was. They tried to rectify the issue by offering me a free visit and an email apology. When I told them I wanted an apology in person and they declined so unfortunately, I guess it is what it is.

We've been using Kingstowne Cat Clinic for at least 15 years, so clearly we're happy! Mike, the resident cat, is hilarious and wasted no time climbing on my cat's carrier to bathe himself.

Great experience. Only been once, but I do like the vibe I'm getting. Will update as I keep coming.

I have been to many different vet clinics, and I have also worked in a vet clinic, and I can confidently say that the Kingstowne Cat Clinic is by far the best clinic I have taken my two cats to. From the front staff to the techs and veterinarians, everyone is so polite, professional, and caring. I've had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hampton, who has shown so much compassion to my pets, and is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We receive beyond excellent care, and I am very glad I have found this clinic. I cannot recommend them enough!

Very loving and caring staff here. They were able to squeeze us in last minute when our cat wasn't doing well. Both Drs. Mosoriak and Hampton are amazingly knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. They were so compassionate and comforting to our old girl during her last days. Whenever we're ready to adopt again, we'll be back.

This is the best vet office! I love that is only for cats and they truly make it a place that is comfortable for each cat! The staff are kind and compassionate! They are quick to respond as well :

My cat Julian was just diagnosed with diabetes. Dr. Mosoriak gave me an excellent training session on how to give shots of insulin and generally how to proceed with a diabetic cat. It was comforting and helpful. I highly recommend Kingstowne Cat Clinic for anything from basic annual checkups to more serious health needs.

The care that this clinic has shown me and my cat makes me want to cry. I have taken my cat to multiple vets over the last couple of months. This is the only clinic who has been able to give me answers. They have provided cheaper options. They are amazing. The best part is they squeezed my cat in last minute by letting me drop him off while I went to work.

Not only that but they let me drop him off 30 minutes before opening. I am beyond grateful. I can feel the healing starting for my cat and I'm so excited and grateful for this. I also want to talk about the pricing. I got a few quotes from other vets in the area and these place seems to under charge (DON'T CHANGE THAT!;)) I mean it when I say I will always bring my cats here as long as they provide this amazing service. The doctor texted me all day and I am so grateful. Thank you

Over the the years, I have brought in my two cats to Kingstowne Cat Clinic and they have received consistently excellent care. Recently, I had to surrender my ailing and elderly tabby for his final care. The staff, and especially Dr. Mosoriak, were most gentle with my cat and later were eloquently kind in their sympathy card to me. I couldn't ask for more.

Kingstowne Cat Clinic is literally the best vet I've ever been to. I've had 3 cats as patients there, one as an end of life situation and now 2 new kitties, and every single visit they treat your animal so kindly, like it's their own. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful doctors. Reception is super helpful too. I highly recommend this place! I almost feel bad for dog owners that they don't get to experience the level of care Kingstowne Cat Clinic offers. Britney and Sammy say thank you!

Very happy with my service for my sick cat. From the very beginning of interacting with the staff I felt the information was explained to me in detail. I was also given all of the options to make an informed decision, without being pressured to jump to the most expensive steps. I highly recommend the staff and services.

My nearly 20 year old cat has cancer. Surgery done 3 weeks ago, he's doing great. From start to finish, this very traumatic event for both of us was handled better than previous experiences with many pets in similar circumstances, with much worse results. Dr M was optimistic that he might have 6 months but I think his return to wellness so fast may be a bright sign for a longer future.

Whatever happens and whenever it finally ends his life, this clinic, this staff deserve the highest praise for exceptional service, compassion, and making the hard times softer to go through.

Hands down, this is the very best veterinary clinic I’ve come across— and I’ve had cats all my life! Years ago, when I had my first cat, I went to the vet who had a business close to my house. The daughter of a veterinarian, I do not know if she had a certificate to work in veterinary clinic, for no reason inserted a thermometer in my cat's butt to measure her temperature. After the appointment, my cat was crying of pain. I left this place and found Kingstown Cat Clinic.

In the new place the price was twice lower and thermometer was no longer needed. I continue to bring my cat(s) to Kingstown Cat Clinic. When one of my cats jumped from height and was heart, I called to clinic to ask for help. The appointment was scheduled for Saturday, the day when clinic was closed. Doctor came to see my cat only. It was dislocated bond in joint. She expedited cat and fixed joint very easy and charged, I thought, very low price.

I just moved to the area and someone in the animal business recommended this clinic. I have 2 healthy cats and took them in for an initial appointment and was very happy when I left. The staff were very friendly and Dr. Chang helped me with diet plans and food changes. They were very gentle even as one of them was a bit ridiculous and voiced his anger. I would recommend them to others and am glad my cats have them as a reg vet.

Two weeks ago our 12 yo cat, Dulcie, got sick. I called to Kingstowne Cat Clinic with my concerns and they immediately made an appointment in the same afternoon. Dr. Mosoriak was not only diagnosed our cat, but provided her with necessary examination and testing right away! She recommend to do a surgery ( breast cancer), which was successfully done by Dr. Mosoriak in next day. No doubt, Dr Mosoriak saved Dulcie’s life! I can’t say enough good things about the clinic. I’ve been bringing my 18 year old cat here forever. He’s “difficult” to say the least. But everyone has been wonderful to him. Dr Chang or Dr Boos usually draw the short straw and have given him great care over the years. I can’t recommend Kingstowne Cat Clinic enough.

We saw Dr. Chang today and she was absolutely wonderful! Normally my 14 yr old cat is very fearful and aggressive with strangers but Dr. Chang's friendly and calm demeanor (and obvious gift with cats!) made my cat Ziggy stay the calmest I've ever seen him at the vet. Now don't get me wrong, he was still no Mr. Sunshine for them when he needed X-ray and bloodwork done, but the staff amazingly got all the testing done they needed to even without his cooperation.
