Kindred Spirits Animal Clinic is an independently owned and operated small animal veterinary hospital located in Orlando Florida. We operate with the philosophy that high quality, not high volume medicine will keep both our patients and our practice healthy. We are a small clinic, which allows us the flexibility to give each patient personalized care tailored to best meet their needs as well as those of their human families. Dr Josh Kindred is the owner and medical director of Kindred Spirits Animal Clinic. He grew up not far away in DeLand, FL where his parent both worked as professors at Stetson University. He was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stetson University in 1994 and went on to attend the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville.
We are always welcoming new patients and their families to come meet our staff and visit our clinic. If you have a question or would like to schedule an appointment please feel free to call or contact us. In order to speed up the check-in process for our new clients we have included our "New Client" and "New Patient" Form that may downloaded and printed.
We provide veterinary supervised boarding for your pet in an air conditioned kennel area. The recent addition of an outdoor fenced-in exercise area in the back of the clinic allows us the luxury of permitting our boarded pets a supervised "playtime" each day. Our staff is trained to recognize most physical symptoms or behavioral changes that your pet may exhibit that would indicate problems they are experiencing. All these factors combine to make for a safe, clean and enjoyable stay for your pet while you are away.

The original tech that checked us in at our first visit seemed overwhelmed and it looked like she was the only one running the front desk and assisting during the visit which was odd. She was visibly stressed. But we were pleased with our experience w/ Dr. Kindred (dog visits/dental cleaning) and Lisa I think is her name. (she is the perky one that is the voice of the voicemail recording) Well be back :)

Such a timely and kind group of people! They really care about your specific animal needs and comfort levels. Great staff. Thank you for helping my baby even though he is not the friendliest doggo around strangers. I've been going here for years and vet techs, front desk and Dr. Kindred provide excellent service at an affordable price. You can tell everyone in the office cares about animals and it's always a pleasure to see such knowledgeable and friendly individuals when bringing in a scared dog. Thanks again!

I needed a vet quickly today and being new to the area I was lucky to find Kindred Spirits Animal Hospital! They were very accommodating and I felt really comfortable leaving my cat in their care, the veterinarian called me, provided an update and aftercare instructions, and Rebecca was really wonderful as well! My boy LOVES Dr. Kindred. He runs straight out of the car and to the vet door because he can't wait to get lots of pets, treats and love. I'm always surprised by this because he spent a couple of weeks with Dr. Kindred when he was a puppy with parvo but he must have loved his stay because he's genuinely excited to go back to visit every time! Even though I live in Winter Park now and Dr. Kindred is close to 45 mins away I can't think of taking my pup anywhere else!
