Dr. Bellinghausen has retired! Thank you for 30 years of commitment and to the Kenmore Veterinary Hospital family, our clients, patients, and the Kenmore community. The legacy that you have built is the foundation that carries us into the future. We wish you the very best Dr. B! B graduated from Washington State and Oregon State Colleges of Veterinary Medicine in 1984.
Payment is expected at the time of service. Additionally, for your convenience, we accept third-party payment plans, including CareCredit and Scratchpay. Scratchpay offers simple and affordable payment plans for large veterinary bills. Finding your payment plan does not affect your credit, it takes just a couple of minutes and can be done from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Pets can't tell us how they're feeling so preventative wellness care plays a key role in detecting problems early and ensuring your pet lives a healthy and happy life. At Kenmore Veterinary Hospital, we recommend annual wellness exams and we may recommend more frequent exams for senior pets and pets with chronic health issues.
Did you know? Periodontal disease is the most common clinical condition in cats and dogs - but don't worry it's preventable! Read on to learn about our dental care and recommended at-home care. Book a dental exam with your veterinarian at Kenmore Veterinary Hospital at least once per year. During this exam we will do a thorough cleaning and evaluation to check for early signs of problems.

I wanted to establish this place as my new Vet hospital in July. I had a basic checkup and the Veterinary recommended my cat get a dental. The soonest they could schedule me was in August. I got a phone call stating that their equipment broke for the dental and that they needed to reschedule. Fine, I understand things happen. The next appointment comes up and I get another call stating that one of their Vet Techs was stuck in Louisiana due to the Hurricane, so they needed to reschedule AGAIN.

Third appointment comes up in September, they call and don't leave a message. I call back asking why they called, and this took them awhile to figure out as well. They said they needed to cancel my appointment AGAIN because a Vet needed medical leave but this time they didn't have a new date to put me at. I asked them very seriously should I just cancel this because clearly your business can't handle service right now, .

The receptionist just said they would call me back. Well that was September 17th and today is September 29th, still no call back. Clearly this business can't handle new clients nor provide proper service at the moment. Do not go here for now, until things get better for them. They lost a new client. I hope things get better for them if this is truly genuine and not some cruel joke to the expensive of myself and my cat.

Took my cat here several times due to a coughing issue. I got medication for him and did as they told. When the problem persisted they blamed me for not bringing him in when I recently had. They overcharged for an x-ray that wasn't necessary and found nothing. The vet I was working with instilled panic instead of comfort several times. Going to talking about putting my cat to sleep when there were other options that ended up working for a while before my cat eventually passed away. Those at the front desk and non doctors were very helpful and seemed to know more than the veterinarian that was helping my cat.

Very comforting and professional! They took a very stressful situation handled it with care and professionalism to make it easy and manageable. They have a great team made up of loving, knowledgeable care givers.
At first I was really nervous about handing over Benjamin without meeting the staff in person but they did an excellent job of communicating and explaining things very thoroughly through email and phone calls.
Dr. Bushey did the initial exam and did a great job of explaining everything in a simple to understand kind of way and did not try to sell us on anything that he didn't need.
Dr, Burrell is who did the actual surgery for the neuter, I never spoke to him but he did explain everything to my girlfriend very thoroughly The entire staff up there was super sweet and never had any problem answering all my questions and concerns.
When he got picked up they we're very reassuring knowledgeable and thorough. All these things added up to a really great experience!
All-around great job, highly recommend if you're looking for please to take your pet for great care

To be honest we are very disappointed with our experience at Kenmore Vet. During our first check up I was told by the vet that my dog needs training (he is 10 weeks.). I was treated rudely by the front desk staff. They acted inconvenienced and annoyed when I requested documents needed for pet insurance, which I had to email 5 times before even getting a response.

My interactions with these people left me feeling belittled and extremely unwelcome. If you're looking for a warm, friendly, patient, vet experience I suggest finding a different option.

We love our vet! Covid protocols have you wait in your car while they take the pet inside, which worked out fine. The doctor came out to talk about the check up and ask if I had any other questions, and verify if I wanted anything else done. Then the front desk called and took my payment over the phone! Easy!

10/10 would recommend! Took my dog Flex for a visit since he wasn't feeling well. They took him in rather quickly. As I was filling up paperwork, they explained that the doctor would be giving me a call. After a short wait Dr. Bushey called me and explained to me what she was going to do, and about how long it would take. She also explained to me clearly once they got the results of his X-ray. Shout out to August (tech) and Jac (management) for being so compassionate, professional, and just so good with Flex!

We love Dr. Bellinghausen! He takes care of our 14yo chocolate lab and our 4yo yellow lab, and they think he's great, too.

I am so happy with the care we received here for our little yorkie. I was able to get an appointment rather quickly even it being the holidays. Dr Heidi Miller is great! The entire staff is very warm and welcoming.
We are so happy with our experience here, and the surgery that took place. Our fur baby is making a full recovery and is back to feeling her happy self!
We will be making this her permanent vet home!

The doctors and staff here are very kind and professional. Same-day appointments are often available, and the doctors' manner with my cats has always been top notch. And their manner with me has always been great too. For their part, my cats always hate the trip to get there, but once we've arrived they like the doctor they see. There are a lot of local animal hospitals, but there's no reason to go anywhere else if you're close to this one.
