The Jackman Animal Clinic in Milroy, IN is a full service veterinary hospital that has been serving south eastern Indiana since 1979. Services
After hours emergency services are available by calling the office number-a paging service is used and a doctor will return your call. To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, followed by scheduled appointments.

The whole clinic was friendly, as always, which helps make the whole vaccination process smooth and painless(mainly). The staff is quick and efficient which makes going to the vet a much better experience rather than spending all afternoon there! They answered all questions and help to educate their clients about their animals! Thank you all!

I'm not sure how it could be better. We have been coming to Dr Jackman for 13 years and will always go there exclusively. We have also always recommended Dr. Jackman to everyone that has a vet need. From the expertise of handling the smallest to the most extreme conditions, all the while being compassionate yet realistic in expectations. You also always know you are going to get the best care without being overpriced. Jackman's is the absolute best!

A liar and a thief. Dr. Bob is a good man. Son Rob is a scamming, money hungry, poor excuse for an "animal care" taker. He billed for services not rendered, then lied to me when I asked him about it. I took my two little dogs for nail clippings. Afterwards, when they were on an exam table at the same time, Rob gave them each an allergy shot. He did nothing else.
He charged $101 for two "exams". When questioned, he lied and said he examined them when they were getting the nails trimmed, not knowing that I was standing there watching the trim, The dogs were never out of my sight. He is simply a crook. Also, he said the shot would last 6 weeks. They started scratching again in 1 1/2 weeks. He probably didn't even give them a full dose. Watch him closely. He'll get you as soon as he gets a chance. If he needed $101 that badly he should have just asked instead of scamming me out of it.

I felt like Lucy received excellent care at Jackman's Animal Clinic. The entire team was fully engaged in Lucy's treatment. Everyone on the staff was professional and courteous. When I dropped her off, Dr. Rob spent an appropriate amount of time evaluating my dog and developing a treatment plan that was comprehensive, but not excessive. He didn't recommend anything that was not necessary.
It seems much more common to be "upsold" something, but I never got that impression. And Lucy was very comfortable and calm during the examination, which is a testament to Dr. Rob's sureness and professionalism. When I picked Lucy up, the Vet Tech reviewed the treatment Lucy received very thoroughly. She made sure I understood all aspects of the treatment and the discharge instructions.
The dosage on one of the medications is half a tablet, and when I administered it the following morning, I was very surprised to find that they had already been divided in half. Jackman's Animal Clinic has been a life saver on more than one occasion. The staff are always friendly and I've called *many* times for advice on my pets. They always get me an answer and make me and my pets feel better. They never push me to come in if I don't have to and are thoughtful and considerate with my pets and budget. Recently, they were able to get one of my cat's in quickly after I found an infected, hidden cut (she's an indoor/outdoor cat) and a paw injury.
They were caring and considerate. Their COVID 19 procedures allows their excellent customer service to shine. They have a great team and I recommend them to everyone I can. Thank you for all you do for me and my pets.

After my 2 month old Doberman received her first round of puppy shots, she had a very negative reaction which caused her to act "drunk" and head tilt. Dr. Jackman did not just go with a best guess and researched her condition and even asked another esteemed colleague for advice. Because of their thoroughness and quick action, my baby Osha was given the proper medicine and has made 100% recovery!
One worker even made a spreadsheet with dates/times she was to receive the medication to make tracking easier. By far, they went above and beyond and I am grateful for each of them.
