There is not a better place to take your fur loved ones to. Dr. Benson is amazing! You can trust that he has you and your fur child's best interest at heart.

All three doctors are amazing recommend to my family members and they weren't disappointed! Dr. Benson did wonderful surgery on my mothers dog and was so kind hearted when we had to sadly euthanize our other furry friend. And all 3 doctors have seen my personal dogs and I'm always pleased with the experience and visit. My sister in law just recently brought in her dog that wasn't feeling well and Dr. Benson was amazing and detailed with everything he did.

Took my cockatiel today for a check up and Dr. ernsting was great! I will be bringing both my birds here for future wellness exams. All staff was friendly and helpful, Thank you!

We have been having trouble with my daughter's leopard gecko. Dr Ernsting and the team have been so helpful. My daughter did research but we were still misunderstanding a lot about geckos, and Indian Prairie have really helped us get her back to healthy. They are so fantastic! Everyone is so kind and patient.

I bring my potbelly piggy here and everyone is great, very nice. Her Dr. Benson is very knowledgeable, and super nice. While no vet or animal hospital will see her due that she is piggy and considered exotic pet. I'm very happy that this place does. I totally recommend this animal hospital.

When I moved to IL 12+ years ago with my very first dog, I had limited experience and a lot of love. I researched every aspect of dog ownership to make sure I was giving him the best. I tried out 3 vets and none of them stacked up to my beloved vet "back home". until I found IPAH. I trust Dr. Ristich completely. I don't always agree with him, but we can talk it out and come up with a plan we both feel good about.

Over the years, I've brought 4 more dogs through his clinic, even since moving a little ways away, twice. There have been other doctors that join and leave his practice and I've enjoyed them all. I fostered for a few years with a local rescue, so have experience with a handful of other vets in the area. I have never been tempted to switch.

Each visit is a treat. The staff are pleasant, courteous and attentive. Our billings are clear & concise and the pricing is fair & accurate. We enjoy taking our fur baby in for exams and thankfu with howl they've assisted ua in maintaining his good health!

We've brought our exotic pets here for quite a few years now: hedgehogs, Tegu, snakes. I'm constantly impressed with the staff and environment. Everyone seems friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. From scheduling to follow-up the team does a great job. Everything always seems very clean and well kept. I also feel comfortable asking questions, especially regarding recommendations.

I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of, dismissed, or talked down to. Despite the limited number of exotic vets, I gladly drive from Geneva for the experience at Indian Prairie Animal Hospital!

Dr. Ernstein and the lab techs were very prompt to see my pet. Everything was transparent. And they were extremely patient and kind when it came time to say goodbye to my beloved ferret. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

Great, they took care of a friend's bird over night at that last minute and they were really in a pinch so it's awesome that they were able to accommodate their request. They've worked with them before and it's a nice, well run, clean & friendly place!

I came here for the first time today for my green cheek conure, and I can't remember the vets name but he was so wonderful. He has a great bedside manner and was so knowledgeable and informative. My bird usually bites new people and the vet was even able to handle my little guy without getting bit!

This was my first time coming to this vet. The staff was extremely nice. Dr. Benson was very personable and great with my cat. It was very clean and organized as well.

I highly recommend Indian Prairie Animal Hospital! I've been taking my dog, Sadie, here for years and she has always received excellent care. Recently, our pup injured her ACL and we've had a couple appointments for her care. Dr. Ristich is attentive, experienced and always adds a touch of humor! He is careful and cautious with Sadie. I appreciate their immaculate office and staff. If you're looking for a new vet or are new to the area, check them out.

These guys are great! The doctors are super knowledgeable and accommodating. My pig sprinkles was attacked by a dog recently. I called Indian prairie and they said they didn't have any availability for emergency appointments but allowed me to bring sprinkles in anyway! They kept him under observation and did an examination to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with him before calling me to pick him up.

They only charged me for a routine visit! Not an emergency appointment, like most vets would have. Then they kept in contact with me for the next few days to make sure no new problems arose.

Do not take your rabbits here! I just moved to the area and wanted to get my rabbit set up with a local vet, but I was horrified with this place. The building itself is nice and the staff are friendly with the exception of Dr. Ristich. Dr. Ristich is the 'exotic animal' vet and apparently had experience with rabbits, but you wouldn't know it from the rough way he handled my rabbit. Rabbits are delicate animals, but this vet was so forceful with my rabbit, I was genuinely shocked.

I couldn't believe someone with rabbit experience would handle a rabbit this way. But by far the worst part was when he grabbed my already terrified rabbit by the back of his neck and flipped him upside down, something you should never ever do to rabbits! And then proceeded to squeeze at him and jab him far more than necessary. And this isn't standard practice, I did my research and nowhere did it show an examination remotely as rough and scary as the one he gave my rabbit. Rabbits have been known to die from shock from being put in a prone position.

Any good rabbit owner knows that you NEVER flip a rabbit on it's back! They are prey animals that can literally die of fear. Anyway, I will never be taking my bunny back here and I advise you to avoid it as well.
