Hi! My name is Noodles and I am 3 years old. I am a beautiful tabby with big green eyes. I don't like to be picked up and might get rough when playing but I love attention and coming to say hi! I was adopted once before but had to be returned due to circumstances so I am now looking for my furever home. I communicate through chirps and love to snuggle. Come say hi! We are sisters and are 2 years old. We were adopted from Pet Vet when we were kittens but due to unforeseen circumstances we were surrendered.

Founded by Dr. Allison Naito, the clinic has remained family-oriented and retained its small business atmosphere despite the growing number of furry, feathery, and exotic patients walking through the doors each day.
Helping Paws is a no-kill rescue shelter; every animal in our care will remain in our facility or with a qualified foster family until they find its forever family. As an animal rescue, our facility strives to be a haven for domestic and exotic animals that find their way to our sanctuary due to abandonment, abuse, neglect, or owner surrender.

We love them they have to be the most reasonably priced Vet in all of HB/or even Fountain Valley for that matter. The have a great staff very patient, very friendly, caring, friendly, and sincere! The Doctors are very thorough and I would recommend any one of them! They are all fair and honest people and truly love what they do and it shows and they dont nickel and dime ya for every little thing they do.
For example when I took my kittens in for spaying and baby shots they kept them over night just to keep an eye on them for their first night after surgery and then kept them until one of us could get out of work to get them so most of that next afternoon and at no charge. Thats love

I have been coming to Hunington Pet vet for at least 8+ years. Now that my shiatsu, Harley passed 2 years ago I will be bringing my 1 year old Shimizu here as well. I recently brought my better half dog, Milo here. Doctor Naido is our dogs vet. We have been seeing a specialist to treat Milo's congenital heart condition for the past 2 years with great results.
Unfortunately he has moved on. The vet, not the dog. We were desperate to find a vet that would prescribe maintenance medication now that our dog is stabilized. He was quickly running low on his medications. We had visited/called a number of vets. None of which felt qualified or wanted to take over our peppy patient. Since we have gone to Doctor Naido many times before ans she was happy to help us.
We are so thankful. Not only is she helpful and kind but also saved us money. Both this visit and for the future. In this day and age it is difficult to find a vet that doesn't help you file for bankruptcy.let alone save money.

By far the best option when it comes to having a team help your fur baby. The team at Huntington Pet Vet felt like a natural extension of my family that kept me calm as my cat (Bandit) was receiving all the help he could. Rest assured the team here will make sure your animal returns home safely as well as communicate to you your options. I've got three dogs and came here based on the recommendation of a friend with six dogs. He claims that they have the best prices. I now know why. They hire the worst people and have the worst customer service. nobody should have to wait two and a half hours to get a normal checkup. I brought my 8-lb Chihuahua here several months ago and the medicine they gave her for allergies just caused diarrhea. it was a waste of an office visit and a waste of medication.
Today I brought another dog in shaking and shivering and in obvious distress. I politely reminded them about every 30 or 45 minutes then my dog was in distress and ask if I could drive him around to calm him. They said if I left I would be taking off the list. so I stuck it out for two and a half hours even dealing with the lady next to me coughing and sneezing like she had Coronavirus. I'll never come back here and I suggest that you avoid this place if you're looking for a good veterinarian's office. This office is one of the worst I've ever encountered.

Dr Nido has been my Vet for over 20 years, in fact she has done house calls to deliver puppies, answered the phone when I called from another vets office and has fixed numerous injuries on many of my pets throughout the years. In fact, I have adopted several cats from her office and we love them dearly. This vet is truly an amazing woman...... Her office staff is trained with excellence in her office manager is the most fair you've ever spoken with. If you're looking for a vet who can provide excellent care and truly cares for the animal you're in the right place

I just walked-in and I got there at 8:30 I waited till like 11 and my cat had been stressed out the whole time cause of all the dogs. I asked how much longer to a girl and she said to me "do you understand how walk-ins work?" First of all they were already on the second sign in sheet so I just wanted to make sure I didn't get forgotten with all the appointments they had... I waited some more and asked a much nicer guy. He said unfortunately he thought it would be another hour. So I left and went to AAA and I was seen in under 10 mins

I've been coming here since my now 16year old cats were kittens. Service has always been on point! The entire staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs. Wednesday night I called with a concern for my cat. I arrived at 5:57 knowing that they closed at 6pm. It didn't matter to them that they were closing in 3 min. They stayed with me explaining everything about my babies new diagnosis of diabetes. Trained me how to inject his medication, gave me free food, extended payments for my bill, and never once made me feel uncomfortable for keeping them 2 hours past closing.
I would recommend Huntington Pet Vet to all with fur babies!! Dr Naito is so knowledgeable and caring, and all the staff are so compassionate and clearly do their best to respond to your pets needs.

I trust Huntington Pet Vet with all of my veterinary needs. I've been taking my fur babies to Dr. Munson for over 10 years and have never questioned his judgement. Dr. Munson's true concern is in the care of the animal, not the money like some veterinarians. He is honest, caring and so very kind. Dr. Naito is also a gem. I refuse to take my babies anywhere else.
Keep in mind that Pet Vet has A LOT of clients due to their exceptional care. So you may have to wait a good while before getting in to see a doctor. Be patient, and be kind to the people at the front desk, they're doing their best to get your loved one taken care of and seen by a doctor. Believe me, the wait is worth it.

It frightens me that a business like this exists. I'd rather not get into details but here's a brief summary of my experience with Dr. Naito and her staff:
One of my dog died shortly after a two week inpatient care here where they were unable to detect nor treat what another vet eventually determined to be either a cancerous mass or an acute liver disease.
My other dog went in for a urinalysis and came home sick and injured from an unnecessary and unauthorized painkiller injection. Of course, I'd like to believe that the Huntington Pet Vet team has the best of intentions. I'd like to. But my experience with their staff has been nothing short of a nightmare. Dr. Naito consistently failed to return my calls after giving her word to do so.
Her staff members were consistently lacking in communication, negligent, rude, and absolutely lacking in empathy and professionalism. It took literally 14 calls to get a single email for my pup's medical records because they either forgot or took down the wrong email address and made no effort to follow up. When I followed up, the lady gave me attitude and had the audacity to gaslight me for getting upset.
Please, do yourselves and your beloved pets a favor and find another vet.
PS - one gold star for Alex. The only competent employee I came across at this absolute joke of an institution.

First-time visit today for both my dogs and I have to say I had a great experience we couldn't get in with the female Doctor Who everyone recommends however the male doctor ( I think his last name started with an m) we saw was very thorough caring and honest. He took time with my pet and answered all my questions. He kept the costs down as much as he could knowing I was on a budget and the experience I had in the past with AAA Animal Hospital nickel-and-diming me.
I also want to recognize Travis at the front desk who was so thorough honest and explained all the charges to me. He was not in a rush and was very patient with all my questions.

Super affordable compared to other places! I really love that it's affordable and that the vets are really caring and they talk to you unlike other places. I went in without an appointment and it took forever. The other time I made an appointment and waited about 20 mins but it's way better than 4 hours. I got my cat her health certificate to fly for $48 and I got her some treats.
I love that they have treat samples (that's why I bought them)

We started going to Pet Vet when we only had a chinchilla. Dr. Naito is familiar with chinichillas (they even have a couple that live on the premises), so I loved their office from the beginning! We now have one dog who is epileptic and requires special care. They have been so reassuring since her very first seizure. Our other dog has become an old man with his own occasional issues.
He had to have a large sebacious cyst surgically removed from his hip a couple of years ago. The procedure and after care were VERY reasonably priced and he healed beautifully. I have not had a bad experience at this place. Is the wait time frustrating sometimes? Yes, but that's the case with most medical professionals AND it's usually because the doctors really care to spend the necessary time with their patients.
I have seen multiple doctors at this facility depending on which pet I've brought and how urgent their needs are. Every doctor we've seen has truly cared about the well-being of my pets.
