Not only did a vaccination appointment take over 2 hours but it takes several hours of leaving messages to get a call back. Seems like all the workers rather gossip and talk than work

Common courtesy would go a long way! I had an appointment this past Friday 4/8 which was a rescheduled appointment from January because in January owners were not allowed in the office for appointments and one of my dogs has anxiety and wasn't able to be seen without me there. I had an appointment for 1:30 and 1:45 for each of my dogs respectively.

Still people are not allowed into the office until the vet tech brings you in but atleast you can accompany the dog for the visit. They ask that you call upon arrival. My husband and I both called and could not get through to anyone. My husband called again and finally got through and was put on hold. In the meantime a tech did finally come to the door and I let her know I had a 1:30 appointment it was now 1:40.

My husband also finally got through and was told they would call us back. We stood in the parking for 45 minutes until we finally left. The office did not call us until 2:30. They said IF they could take us would we want to come back. No I will not come back. I likely won't ever return. As in my title, common courtesy goes a long way. All that was needed was some communication and a rescheduled appointment. This was a disgrace.

The doctor was nice and thorough. This vet is expensive and they don't take emergencies.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I called to make my dog a new patient groom appointment. They told me he would need to get a bordatella vaccine before coming in. I went to my vet and paid the $40 for that vaccine and had the records sent over to the groomer. When it came time for the groom appointment, I showed up but they very rudely said they had no record of my dog or his appointment and had no time to squeeze him in that day. I asked to speak to the manager and she was even worse. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Not sure why I went back. Just paid $60 to be told to go see a dermatologist after a 3 minute check up. Nothing more so I guess I needed a vet to charge me for a google search. I obviously knew it wasn't getting better which I why I came back as a follow up. Turns out they charge to tell you they can't help and to go somewhere else. NICE! Still doing curbside for covid I guess. Seems like a nice way to quickly turn clients out since they don't need to go back with the dog.

The "checkup" seemed like it was rushed and definitely not worth $60. From the time of being told to meet at the front to the time I picked him back up from the front was less than 8 mins on my call record. When you're about to think wow at least they were quick think again. Appointment was at 12:30 and I didn't leave until 1:20.heard shortstaffed but that's not my problem raise your wages and you'll get staffing its the same problem everywhere.

I will not go back and would suggest you go somewhere else where you can get full comprehensive service without being farmed out to a specialist. Update: Didn't go to the dermatologist for my dog. I used hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean and dry while also applying a anti septic and antifungal spray. Recovered I. 1.5 weeks.

They have nice service and have been able to see my pets when needed, but it's so expensive. $750 for 2 annual dog visits with nothing wrong. They were vaccinated and supply of heartworm medicine. They insist i come twice a year for my dogs but i refuse. if my kids only need to have a well visit once a year, i think my dogs only need it once a year. Honestly, i love my dogs like family, but going to Horsham Vet is like paying a mortgage.

They were great I had an appointment for my cat Cody because he's been biting his balls and biting his hair in his back out they didn't evaluation the good care of him because he's such a scaredy cat didn't find nothing wrong but they're trying to help me figure out what's causing the issue the issue might be the litter I switched within the last year so I have to call them back in a few weeks to see if he's getting any better since I switched the letter thank Dr Ray and all the associates at Horsham veterinarian

Highly recommend this practice. I've been taking my pets here for Years. Very thorough, understanding, compassionate care. The doctors are top notch as well as the technicians. Fantastic with scheduling appointments as needed. I've taken my new baby kittens and puppy to HVH since they came to me and took them there for their last visit when it was time to say Goodbye. We'll be adding a new furbaby puppy to our family soon and we'll be right back there!

Great experience today at Horsham Veterinary. Called them at 9:40am and they found an appointment for 10am! They took Bella in and examined her. They had the Meds she needed and she is on her way to recovery. Five star service! We will be back!

I've been using Horsham Vet since 1997 when they saved my Chilipepper's life from an infection she got being spayed at another vet. Dr. Tranchida knows my cats and they tolerate her well. The waiting room is large but doesn't have separate sections for cats and dogs. The facility is clean. The staff are professional. Totally worth the 20 minute drive.

I have been here many times in the last year. We have a 18 month old German Shepherd, who plays hard. They always have been able to accommodate us through quick appointments. The techs and doctors are always pleasant. The fees are fairly priced. They give future recommendations and really listen to your concerns. I would recommend them to anyone needing pet care.

If you want to travel with your pet to an international destination, I highly recommend Horsham Vet Hospital. I would like to thank all the staffs who helped my puppy to go home with me during this difficult situation of COVID-19.

Great place. Very caring. We adopted our pup from Wags Rescue and kept her vet services here (since she was already being seen by Horsham Vet). The staff is always kind and polite. I took one star away on account of whenever I go to an appointment, I always wait at least 20 minutes + to be seen. While this isn't a deal breaker, it does mean I need to allot more time to appointments.

My baby, Sapphire, needed to get an echo on her little heart. The cardiologist Dr. Helinski, was very through and answered all of my questions. She is only at this location once a month on Fridays, but definitely worth the wait and most reasonably priced. The staff at the front desk were very cheerful and welcoming. If I lived in the area I would come here for their services. Luckily, Sapphire will be ok, and there is nothing serious with her heart.

Always kind and helpful vets and staff. I can always get an appointment and we never have to wait too long when there. The vets are knowledgeable and very friendly always willing to answer all of questions. Our dog is treated with care and love.

They got me in on time and they got me in and out in 20 min. so I'm not complaining about that. I just wish that the second he came in that I didn't have pamphlets telling me how to take care of my cat I've had for 5+ years and how to get him used to a car ride and carrier. My cat goes with me on a road trip every year of at least 1000 miles each way.

He has no problem with new places. In fact, when he gets to the motel chain we always go to, he's walking around like he lives there. He comes with me because he really hates being alone and being in a car ride is preferable for him vs. being by himself for 2 days. Once I left him home for 2 days when I flew out to Kansas and drove back to pick up my car that was in an accident, he walked up to me and acted like he thought I was dead.

Ever since then, he comes with me on every road trip. Anyway, I really don't need to be told how to raise my cat and how often to give him lysine when I never told you how often he gets it. And when I'm leaving, I don't need someone trying to sell me pet toothpaste at $50 (?) per tube when Amazon sells it for about $16 (and I had some with my last cat so I know how to do it and what's involved).

So kudos for the on time appointment and kudos to having my cat like you and get him out on time. that's all I really care about. We stopped going to the VCA because of our last visit and the fact that they always try to sell me something. Just please don't start being like that. You never used to do that so this is something new someone's pushing you to do now.

My last cat, Toonces, used to be brought to you because you were the only vet he mildly liked (he hated everyone too so it was special to find you locally to me) so when VCA went so badly last week, I figured I'd bring Dash there too. Anyway, great job on keeping my cat content and calm as you could. I think we can probably save a lot of time with the lectures on how I should raise my cat.

If you notice something's wrong and that I should be doing something to prevent that, fine. But telling me to spray a carrier with some chemical so he feels at home? I don't plan on doing that. The only time my cat is in a carrier is going to and from the car (and on the way to the vet). On our road trips, he roams the car, finds a spot to be, and sleeps. When he's awake, he comes up front and sleeps on the passenger seat or sits on his little cat furniture I bring with us so he can look outside. :) We'll be back.

I have used this Veterinary Hospital for almost 15 years, and never thought twice about it. Now, however, I am looking to change. The prices are ridiculously expensive, and I have two dogs. I was just in there last week for their "well-visit" which ran me over $500. And if I hadn't refused two services--which I felt pressured into getting--it would have been $700. Also, I was in there for an hour and forty minutes, which seems to be the average time, regardless of what I am in there for, or how many dogs I have with me.

What really makes me angry about this is that generally, there are no other patients there at the same time. And I have to agree, some of the front desk staff is rude and unprofessional. If I am dropping $500 on a visit, the person can say thanks, have a nice day, not roll her eyes because I asked for a new pen because the one she gave me isn't working.

I'm surprised to read these bad reviews because I cannot say anything bad about this place. Everyone is super friendly-so very nice and they love when we bring in our guinea pig. He gets a lot of love and attention. Dr Tranchida is fantastic and really good with him. They're professional and care. Expensive? Maybe a little. But why would you take your pet somewhere cheap and careless? I wouldn't!

While I think Dr. DeMauro is a competent and engaged veterinarian, the office itself is unprofessional. I think it would a better representation of his practice to have a more professional, warm and supportive front office staff. Over several visits, I have found them to be rude, unfriendly and low energy as they barely make eye contact with pets or their owners.

I just recently went to Upper Gwynedd vet hospital for an emergency visit and they were more professional In every way. Sad to leave Dr. DeMauro, but he needs to take a greater interest in the running of his practice.

I have been taking my dog to Horsham Vet since we adopted him at 8 weeks. I have to say that the staff here is amazing. The ladies out front are extremely helpful and I never have an issue scheduling appointments. My dog had some allergies we had to diagnose when he was young and I was able to get same day (non-emergency) appointments with their help. Additionally, I needed a pet sitter last minute and they helped me find one of the vet techs that would come to my house to watch and care for my dog.

As for the vets, they are great. They have great knowledge and they really care for your pets well being. I really can't say much else here because they are that good. Another big thing for me is that the waiting room and all of the examination rooms are very clean and well maintained which is much appreciated in a large hospital like this. The only reason that I did not give a 5 star review is because I did have issues with one of the vets early on (there are 3 vets that I have seen).

I expressed my frustrations to the front desk and they alleviated my concern and helped me find a solution which is why I still go there to this day. I schedule all of my dogs appointments with Dr. DiMauro now and I have been very, very pleased.

I took my 5-year old House Bunny here, because I heard they had a vet who specialized in exotics. She diagnosed him with an upper respiratory infection, and gave an antibiotic. I was asked to call back in 2 wks with a status report. I called back and left a message for the Vet. My call was NEVER returned. Since his symptoms continued with 'no improvement (wheezing, weight loss), I brought him back in an emergency.

I should note they are very pricey. On this visit, I certainly did not expect them to"re-charge" me, especially since he continued to have the very same symptoms with which he presented on visit #1. They demanded payment, and the manager became LOUD, argumentative and defensive. When I refused to pay, she took back the medicine that was provided! She later relented, and allowed me to have the antibiotic but not the other eye drops for his infected eye. It was shocking-- that one would receive such inhumane treatment from a Vet. Please, do not take your pet to this hospital.

We recently put our family dog down at Horsham Veterinary, where we have taken her for over a decade. While the process itself was as pain-free to our pup as possible, the insensitivity from the staff really left a bad taste in our mouths. The two biggest items are payment & a paw print tile. From our experiences with other veterinary hospitals in the area and in the past, typically a bill is sent after services are rendered in this instance - at Horsham, the staff requested payment right away which seemed very insensitive and as if their first goal was to collect money, not provide a caring experience. Separately, we requested a paw print which they took the paw print right then and there.

After the imprint, they advised us to take it home to bake it so it would harden. Other local hospitals have provided the tile with the ashes in a complete form instead of advising the grieving family to go home and throw it in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. In the past we have had no issues with the staff or how they've handled appointments, but we felt this was a poor way to handle a last visit.

This is a review for the boarding portion of this business. We were already unsure about leaving our dog at a boarding facility and now that we used Horsham vet clinic I'm not sure I would trust anybody with my dog, We dropped her off on a friday morning and left enough treats for her stay to keep her occupied and not so scared. When we picked up our dog they handed us back basically all the treats.

One treat was missing so maybe our dog got one. They assured us that she would taken great care of and that they would follow our instructions. They did not. I now will never trust another boarding center ever again and I will never be back to this terrible facility every again.

Really great techs and vets, nice office, friendly office staff. Unfortunately. way more expensive than other places so I shall have to go back to my old neighborhood vet. If you can afford it, they are really good.

If your are lucky in life, you meet people like Dr. Joseph DiMauro and Dana (Vet Tech) from Horsham Veterinary Hospital. They are kind, dedicated and talented. To be clear, they are exactly the type of professional to which you entrust your dearest pet. I did, and both my pet and I were rewarded. After nearly one year and 4 separate visits with 3 different Vets, Dr. DiMauro diagnosed the matter within 5-minutes of an exam. And, 4 days later, my pet went through a successful surgery to bring the matter to a close. Dr. DiMauro style is professional, but personable.

He treats his patients with loving care, and he treats their human parents with intelligence and compassion. As for Dana, you will not find a more caring and concerned professional. She is compassionate and gets every pertinent detail to ensure a diagnostic success. She is a bright spot in a dreary day. As for the premises, I have NEVER been to a nicer, cleaner facility than Horsham Verterinary Hospital. I am could not have been more satisfied with my experience. My dog gives this place 5-Paws!
