4. A team member will meet you in the parking lot and individually bring your pet(s) in for an evaluation and care. You may choose to wait in your vehicle during your pet's examination or return at a later scheduled pick-up time.
I've been taking my cats here for two years and I have yet to have a bad experience. I completely trust the veterinarians. They've done surgery, helped me grieve the loss of one of my cats, and continue to provide care to my remaining cats. I feel so lucky to have found Hillside. They have helped me through several emergencies and provide excellent regular care for my pets. The vets and staff are knowledgeable and kind. In my opinion, Hillside is the best vet in Dallas. I have used Hillside Vet for many years.

They may be super busy at times and you may wait a while, but it's an ER. If you're waiting, you should be glad that your pet isn't needing to be rushed to be first in line. I brought my 1.5y/o great dane in on Sunday morning and all of the staff were nothing but kind and professional! I really appreciated their prompt and attentive service :

I brought our dog here after he was attacked by a large dog. Our entire experience here was wonderful. Our dog received stitches, the following morning the Dr called to check on our fur baby. I would just like to say Thank You to the entire staff. We appreciate you. Oso received awesome care here. Thanks again.

Might be a little expensive, but wow! This vet is great! I had Dr. Chow (spelling?) and she is so sweet and knowledgeable. Vet's tech Jessica was so sweet to my dog too. They really care here and want to do everything to make sure your pups are well taken care of. Highly recommend.

This place Rocks! I called them Saturday night after my dog got attacked and wounded by another dog, and even though they said they had a waiting of an hour, my dog was seen right away! Doctor Tess Keller and Joel the Tech, ware very nice. Doctor Keller heard my dog's medical history very patiently and gave me a lot options to choose from. The front desk ladies were very nice and helpful as well.

When our little dog got sick they helped us with making the best decisions. Sadly our dog passed away. We loved our dog so much. They really made it easier on us even though it was so hard losing him. From coming in as an emergency to making decisions on cremation. They let us spend as much time with our sweet boy as we wanted. Thank you so much. We really do appreciate everything that was done for our dog and for helping us during difficult time.

First time customer; I was happy with the ease of getting an appointment, and quite happy with the 24/7 availability. Dr. Jana knows her stuff and helped my itchy kitty get some relief, and Sarah soothed my scaredy-cat while getting her weight and temperature. Even their price on Revolution+ is better than anywhere online. This will be my new go-to vet (Medallion Animal Clinic closed last year).

The staff was very kind and helpful. My dog, Buddy had what looked like a stroke or seizure and passed away during the drive to their facility. The staff brought out a cart for me to put his body onto and set aside a room where I could privately say goodbye to my best friend. Then they helped arrange his cremation. The service included notifying our regular Veterinarian's office that Buddy had passed away. They made what was one of the saddest nights of my life a much better experience.

The other night, December 29th, around 10 pm my cat was displaying concerning symptoms that couldn't wait until the end of the holiday weekend to be checked. I rushed my cat in and they immediately checked me in and took my cat back to get vitals while I waited and within 10 minutes I was put in a room and was talking to the doctor on call. My cat needed surgery that night and immediately I had a ton of questions and concerns. Dr. Smith answered all of my questions professionally and patiently.

I decided to wait at the office until the surgery started at 4am and I gained a sense of appreciation for the hard working staff at hillside and I am completely impressed with the entire overnight staff. They were compassionate and professional and stayed that way the entire night no matter what situation was thrown at them. They showed every patient and parent respect and were constantly on the move to take care of every patients needs.

Before and after my cats surgery they offered to call with updates on how the procedure went and after I took my cat home Dr. Smith called me personally to see show my cat was doing. My cat is now home and on the mend all because of this clinic and I am so thankful. I will always recommend this clinic to anyone I know in the future for any pet needs.

You need to take responsibility for the actions of your employee(s) who illegally gave someone's dog away. It's absolutely disgusting. And before you get on here and say "You're not even a client here, " I'll answer that for you and anyone reading my review - No, I am not a client here and never would be. After finding out what they did to someone's pet, the multiple horrible reviews, and the 18 reports with American Veterinary Medical Association, I would never trust you people with my dogs. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND DO THE THE RIGHT THING.

Accepted us as a walk in on Sunday just before the holidays. Short wait in the lobby led to a quick diagnoses and on site prescription. Our cat, little Sylvester, started playing again within days

The vets at Hillside, several of them, could not figure out why our cat suddenly started to lose control of his back legs. He never recovered from a sedative one vet gave him, without authorization. First mistake: We would not have authorized it had we been asked, because we knew from experience that our cat reacted badly to sedatives. As he continued to fail, the vets agreed that something was wrong, probably a kidney issue but nothing serious.

They gave him fluids and sent us and cat home, again. He continued to fail, so we went to another clinic, where a vet asked for and received records from Hillside. Second mistake: Turns out the vets at Hillside misread the x-ray, which in fact indicated a heart condition stemming from a heart murmur. An older Hillside record actually noted the murmur but it seems the vets at Hillside don't review their own records.

Third mistake: given the heart condition, the sedative probably sent the cat into a seizure. Fourth mistake: given the specifics of the heart condition, the fluids probably stressed the cat's failing heart even more. Much of this is vet school 101. Our cat died. The day after he died, a Hillside vet called to say she was sorry she had not returned any of our calls the previous day, had not even returned urgent calls from our new vet, who needed information.

She casually asked how our cat was doing. We went to Hillside for thirty years, since the days of Dr. Bain, but the business has turned into a vet factory: in, out, lousy service, bill the customer. Never again.

Reviewing not available in your FB page, I will put my frustration here. I am just so disappointed at how this place was not able to take care of my cat, three different vets all failed to help him. Wellness visit in Feb 26, 2021, I was told (not sure if it was a Dr Watson) all is good that same day by phone only, since I was just in the car because nobody was allowed inside for observance of pandemic protocols.

My mistake for not asking for a copy of the summary of the visit especilally the lab test results which I only saw last Dec 3rd when I requested for a complete records thru email. Triglyceride was too high and a few other abnormal results. Date of results was Feb 27, 2021 nobody called me about it. August, I noticed my cat's breathing was very visible by the movements of his chest and abdomen just like how one would when deep inhaling and exhaling. August 14, 2021 visit with Dr Nollen, he could not see/hear anything abnormal.

So I went home feeling a bit better but seeing my cat have breathing issues made me worry everyday. We again went on August 28 to have that xray, thinking it would just be done as part of the visit with Dr Nollen, but no, it was considered another visit with Dr Chuang who interpreted the results as normal. Your human senses, stetoscope and xrays failed to see the underlying cause of the my cats breathing problem.

I advise you to equip your facility with that tiny ultrasound used when we went to Medvet for a second opinion, actually 3rd. I did not want to go back to your place because I already see how you are not able to help us. December 10, we went to MedVet Dallas. At least 200ml was taken out from the fluid build-up in my cat's chest cavity. You are all out there supposed to help treat or maybe prolong pet's lives, but you are more the one who's going to shorten it for ours by ignoring what I and my husband see as not normal.

My visits at your place are all waste of time, money and trust. The 2 vets though, I saw in person had good bedside manners and front desk staff were polite. And another thing, not sure if it was Dr Watson who called back a few days ago to answer my query, same thing she said just looking at the records the two other doctors had in their charts. I do not recommend this place based on our experience.

10/10 recommend this clinic for any emergency needs with your pet at an affordable price. I had to bring my dog due to an injured leg last night. They immediately helped us out from the moment I called to ask about their services through the end of the visit at the clinic. They were attentive, helpful, and most important caring. The Doctor/Vet was really helpful and explained what was going on with my dog thoroughly and made sure we understood before leaving.

All the front desk workers and the technicians were so nice and helped us out with a big smile. My dog and I left the clinic happy! I can honestly say I am excited to start using this clinic for my dog's regular checkups.
