From routine examinations, grooming and dental care, to illness or injury treatment, we offer a full line of clinic and hospital services.
For many people, pets are like family members and we understand that it can be a scary and confusing time when trying to determine how to best help your pet in an emergency. During normal business hours, we are able to provide short or no-notice emergency services. If possible, please call ahead at 763-559-7387 to inform us of your expected arrival so that we can have appropriate staff and equipment ready to care for your pet. If the emergency occurs after hours or on the weekends, there are a number of emergency pet clinics in the area.
Dr. Silverstein established Heritage Animal Hospital in April in 1991. He is a 1988 graduate of the University of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine and also holds a B.A. in biology from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Professional affiliations include the AVMA, AAHA, AAFP, IAVPM, and MVMA.

They fit me in asap for a Monday appt when I called pretty late over the weekend. All of their staff were truly great, listened well, I did not feel dismissed or taken advantage of whatsoever. Will definitely be back to work with them and I plan to now use them as my regular Vet moving forward. Heritage was able to get my cat Jimmy in for a same-day appointment when all other nearby clinics were booked. They provided him with quality care at a clean facility. Although the cause of his upset stomach wasn't perfectly clear, they completed a stool lab and the doctor gave me a good explanation based on what they were able to observe. Since the appointment, my sweet boy's tummy is resolved and he's a happy healthy boy! I'd recommend this clinic to others.

This is, by far, a top-notch place to take your pet. We had made a very difficult decision that it was time to put our aged dog to sleep. Our veterinary clinic couldn't accommodate us for several days, so we started calling around. Heritage staff were so sympathetic &, even though they had a full schedule & we were not established patients at their clinic, they fit us in within 24 hours.
Upon arriving & during the consultation they were so compassionate & caring & treated our "Sophie" like the special dog that she was. Four days later we received a card in the mail from them which was signed with personal notes from every member of the hospital staff. That is above & beyond what we, as grieving parents, expected; but it was certainly appreciated. This is now going to be our family's pet clinic. Special thanks to Beth & Dr. Digirolama for your kindness & personal care.

We are new to the Plymouth/MG area and we're still seeing our vet in Edina. Our dog, Dominic, stopped eating and appeared to have pain around his jaw area. His normal vet in Edina was fully booked and so were a few other places we called. When we called heritage, they said they were booked but it really sounded like Dominic needed to be seen so they found time to see him. I was so grateful. Luckily it was just a little jaw pain that was causing him discomfort, but I'll forever be thankful they took him in. We will definitely be back!

I love this place! The staff is so sweet and caring. I brought my dog Toby there for ear infection and they were so helpful and sweet to him (he gets super nervous at new places) He was a bit nervous when we. came in and couldn't get him to sit still to get his weight but they were so nice to him and patient and they were able to get him to be calm and got his weight at the end.
They were very gentle and helpful and gave great medical advice for his ear and skin issues. Toby really loved the staff also. I also had a follow up question and they responded instantly and were very helpful. It's so comforting to have a vet/place that really cares about the peoples concerns and animals that come in! I love the cute photos they take of the pets they have come in, so adorable! The most friendly sweet people ever! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Me and Toby are so grateful for you guys!

They are so amazing. The veterinarians and vet techs there are so caring. I have to board my animal sometimes, and it makes me feel so much better that she's with the wonderful people she already knows. I've stopped in to buy RX food for my dog, and they ask how she is by name! I really feel that they care for my dog, and I trust them. It also helps that my dog loves all of them too.

Without a doubt. Dr. Silverstein is the most incredible vet I have ever met. He took care of my cat, Kiwi with such love and compassion. I can tell he loves his job and he truly has both you and your pets. interest at heart. I truly wish he had been around to say goodbye to my Kiwi yesterday. But the rest of the staff there was wonderful. I'll miss going in and how excited they'd get to see my little baby. I truly recommend this vet to everyone. If you want to know your pet is in the best of hands- this is the place

Debbie is a feisty kitty of maturity, who has been visiting Dr. Silverstein and the caring and compassionate team of Heritage Animal Hospital for a few years now. They are amazing with her. If you are looking for a first-time vet or considering a new vet, I would highly recommend that you give Heritage a call.

If you're looking for a loving and informative place of care, this is where your pet should be. The doctors, veterinarian technicians and groomers are fantastic! I've lived in several states from the south to east coast and now here in Maple Grove MN and I have no issues with the charges for any service from this facility. Consider this group for your pets needs. My 2 dogs will agree

My bulldogs, Angus and Phebe, love going to the vet because of the wonderful, highly talented and caring people at Heritage Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff are clearly focused on providing the best for the pets (and pet owners) in their care. They are thorough in their examinations, generous in their time and are happy to answer whatever questions pet owners may have.
They are all obvious pet lovers and that love is evident in the care they provide. Whenever we arrive at the clinic Angus and Phebe react like they are being reunited with old friends. They seem to exude trust in the doctors and staff who tend to them. It's a great place - I trust them explicitly with my dear pups.
