She was born and raised in the DFW Metroplex right here in Texas. She attended the University of North Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2013 she was able to achieve her long time goal of becoming a veterinarian after graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completing her clinical rotations at Texas A&M University. Now she lives in the Denton area surrounded by family and friends and, of course, her dog Tux. Dr. Heathcock is excited to be a part of the Healthy Paws team and looks forward to meeting you and all your furry family very soon.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency. We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has.
