From Our Website

We love Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital. Everyone if just fantastic, the doctors are superb and spend a great deal of time with us and our dogs. We have always had 200% each and every time we are there! The entire staff, from the receptionists, veterinary technicians, to the doctors and surgeons, is friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. I left one of my dogs with them for knee surgery, confident that she would get the best possible care. Pre-surgical, surgical, and post-surgical care were excellent, and the explanations were exceptionally thorough!

Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Lehigh Valley area for everything pet related! Our team of six veterinarians at our two convenient locations is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise. Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

I am Dr. Barbara Gregory, co-owner of LVAH and one of the six veterinarians in our practice. I have always felt a strong compassion and kinship to animals, so it seemed natural to pursue a vocation that followed my heart. I involved myself in animal care at a young age through the 4H club, working on horse and sheep farms and working at local veterinary hospitals. I later graduated from Delaware Valley College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After working as an associate at Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital for nine years, I became co-owner of the practice in 1997.

Dr. Michelle L. Meyer has been at LVAH as an associate veterinarian since 2001. She received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Delaware Valley College of Doylestown, PA in 1997. She graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine of Raleigh, NC in 2001. Dr. Meyer is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, and the Lehigh Valley Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of work and caring for all our furry, four-legged friends, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her husband, Brandon, her sons, Brady and Elliot and her dog, Sheldon.

Dr. Tan was thrilled to join LVAH this year in 2017. She has performed all of her clinical training at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM degree from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. She recently moved to Bethlehem, PA from Ithaca, NY with her husband, their lovely grey tabby cat (Lobster), and their energetic miniature Dachshund (Harper). Alongside her love and experience with canines, Dr. Tan has developed an extensive background and knowledge on our feline friends by working at a feline exclusive animal hospital in NYC for 8 years before and during her veterinary school journey.

Dr. Hersh was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 2005 with a degree in Animal Science and concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She practiced for four years in Nazareth and then a year in Montgomery County before joining Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital in July 2015. She has a special interest in Internal Medicine and client education.

Here at Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital, we believe in the importance of annual preventive care physical examinations for every pet to ensure that they live long, healthy, and happy lives with their families. As part of your pet's annual preventive care examination, one of our experienced doctors will review recommended vaccinations, preventative diagnostic testing, parasite protection, and perform a thorough dental examination. This is an opportunity for your vet to perform a head-to-tail thorough exam and potentially diagnose underlying health issues, which may provide your pet with necessary medications or treatments before symptoms arise.

1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Expresss) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
