Glove Cities Veterinary HOSP

Wonderful place, big and clean. They took very good care of our cat coming in sick and never having seen him before. Unfortunately he had to be put to sleep but they were very caring and understanding and they went above and beyond with his cremation. We will be taking our other pets there from now on.

I was very happy with the staff at Glove Veterinary Hospital, they were very patient with my 4 month old Daisy she's on 100 like all day. It's my first time with the breed they answered all my questions gave a very good exam. Oh she's doing fine after her first shots, she got a little sleepy but she's doing fine other than being a handful but she's my baby. Looking forward too seeing you guys soon!

I brought my German pointer here as a transfer from Schenectady animal hospital only to have an IV removed that the other office left in just in case he needed more fluids after becoming violently I'll? After we waited for an hr in the waiting area the vet came in pulled the IV and charged me over $300!? Rip off I should've walked out without paying a dime. Should be illegal to try to charge what he did. I couldn't believe the reviews when I glanced at it? I had to speak some truth over these fairy tail reviews.

My cat had to get surgery here, everyone was very informative, kept in contact everyday. they took extra special care of my baby and I can't stress enough how thankful I am for them. Dr Lucas is a great vet and I couldn't imagine going through this with anyone else. i'm beyond thankful and happy with their work and how much they have helped my little princess.

The staff is also extremely helpful and understanding while going through something like a pets surgery. my experience couldn't have gone any better. these people truly care about your animals.

Very happy with Vet. She did not rush us. She answered all my questions. Appeared to be very thorough in her exam of my old boy. The staff very courteous. And wait time was almost nonexistent. I was impressed with the call back several days later, to check on the progress of my boys condition. And the effectiveness of new medications. All in all, very good experience.

In an emergency situation where my cat was hit by a car and the driver took off. I was completely devastated. They told me he infact would not survive from this accident and recommended i put him to sleep. I just felt a lack of emphy on their end. I mean the young woman told me they couldn't give my cat any pain meds to relieve his suffering unless I rendered payment at that moment.

I understand it's a business and they need to make their money however to allow any animal to be in pain while you are holding you're hand out left a bad taste in my mouth. Of course I paid them an outrageous amount of money for their 5 minutes of service and eased my babies pain. They did send me a card after telling me they were sorry for my loss which was kind. Just not a very compassionate office I'd say.

They were absolutely fantastic. My grandson's dog began having siezures on a Friday. I called 5 local vets who all said they weren't accepting new patients. After a long night and siezures every 2 hours, my neighbor suggested Glove Cities. Called first thing Saturday morning and they said bring him right over. We thought we would have to put him down. A week later he's back to his normal self. Thanks Glove Cities for the excellent care and saving our boy.

The staff is very friendly and can usually accommodate appointments. The hospital is quite clean with no animal smells. Doctors and techs have been great with my two geriatric dogs. Prices are average for the area. Ample parking, easy to locate.

Amazing, Caring and Knowledgeable! Our dog Dewey got very sick very quickly while we were at our vacation home in Caroga. I called early Monday morning and they took him in an hour later. Dr. Vera treated him with such care and compassion along with the staff at both Facilities. Can't thank them enough for most likely saving his life.

They are all very nice an caring Dr Sharpe is very knowledgeable explains everything an is very patient with pets as well as pet parents excellent office an staff also very clean.

We called them because our own vet, Johnstown Animal Clinic wouldn't respond, when our gravely ill 15 yr old fur baby was very sick and in dire need of medical assistance. They took us right in, examined her, and as she passed away on their table, on her own, they comforted me. They had never seen her before, nor me, but they treated us both with so much support, respect and affection, I will never take any of my babies anywhere else. Thank you for making such a hard time a little more barrable. RIP Emma Jean?-12-10-21

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have been amazing with our two 18 week old puppies. Everything that's done at each visit is explained in detail and they're always willing to help if you have any questions. I always recommend glove cities if anyone is looking for a new vet. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies.

We were referred by our vet as my twelve year old dog was in need of specialized care. The entire office was caring, compassionate and sympathetic. Sadly, after an ultrasound, he was diagnosed with a mass on his intestines that had metastasized to his kidney. Dr. Lavin talked to me about all our options, including surgery. She was very honest and open but in a kind and heartfelt way.

She allowed me all my questions and concerns and I never felt rushed. We decided to keep him comfortable with meds as he was still pretty active. The staff was so patient with my panicked phone calls when he was having some issues. Sadly, I had to finally make that dreaded decision as he was suffering. Dr. Lavin gave him a quick, painless release while I was able to hug him through it all.

Both she and Eddie were so wonderful to me afterwards and gave me all the time I needed with him. This is by far, the very best veterinary clinic we have ever been to. Every single staff member was professional but also caring and compassionate. I can't recommend this office enough. In the future, if I decide to adopt another pet, I will definitely be returning because I know the level of care is excellent.
