I used to got to Harrison Wellness center. I haven't got six years because it's too expensive. I've been going to cheaper animal hospital. My dog is very sick and was scheduled for euthanasia today at 4. I had to get a second opinion and I took her there. The receptionists dismissed me without appointment. Said doctor cannot see me. I begged. Again I was waved off.

I begged them then I saw the doctor and I ran back to him crying with my dog in my arms. I begged him to help and look at her. He smiled and said I don't have time. I can't see you til august. I begged. He said I haven't seen you in 6 years, I don't know what's going on. I said I can tell you and show you. He said I don't have time. I almost passed out.

I beseeched him. You're just going to let her die? You're just going to let her die!? They walked away from me. MAY 2022. I went back to the animal Hospital and begged them for help. They did more tests and discovered it was throat cancer. I had a bad answer. My baby girl had suffered enough. We called Angels_paws and made the life changing arrangement. . I'll never forget Dr, Gaston and how he so heartlessly treated my baby, ignoring my pleas. I lost almost all faith in Vets that day.

Dr. Gaston and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Gaston is extremely knowledgeable and listens carefully to concerns. He is very attentive and empathetic and tuned in to each animal he treats. We began seeing him several years ago when our 12 year old Bichon was having issues.not eating well and pain that seemed to be in his back. Our vet at the time told us it was 'little white dog syndrome' from all the jumping on and off things and that he would never be able to play ball again.

We didn't accept that and found Dr. Gaston, who helped our dog with chiropractic and holistic care. He was like a puppy again, ran and played ball, and lived to be 18.5 years old with great quality of life. We now take our miniature Goldendoodle for regular chiropractic and standard veterinary care at Veterinary Wellness Center so that we can keep him healthy and happy.

My sister takes her cats to see Dr. Gaston and she has had excellent results with care for older and younger cats. It may take longer to get in to see Dr. Gaston due to the specialized care and services he provides, but it is well worth it. And in response to a few reviews I've seen here on Google, it is true Dr. Gaston doesn't wear a mask while treating your animals.

This is because wants the animals to be at ease and see his face and expression and not be overly scared in a strange environment. Dr. Gaston and his team will accommodate your wishes - you may certainly wear a mask when visiting and if you're not comfortable, you can stay in your car and have the staff come out to get your animal and treat him/her while you wait. The team will gladly explain all of this to you. Bottom line - your fur babies are in excellent hands with Dr. Gaston and team. We highly recommend him without reservation!

I have mixed emotions but first off I would like to say the Dr. is so nice and knowledgeable, he took his time to answer and explain any questions we had and didn't feel rushed, but I was very surprised that nobody was wearing a mask, I thought it was mandatory in the state of Ohio, I didn't ask why they weren't wearing them because we're not confrontational people.

I think new patients should get a warning, we drove 40 min and felt disappointed when we found out once we were there, would've been nice to know and make a decision before then and not be caught of guard.

I have seen Dr. Rauf for a couple years now for my small dog and she was great, but I am extremely disappointed after my visit today and will not be returning. There is a sign on their door stating that they will not wear masks inside and that you can still bring them your animals if you have tested positive for Covid. One receptionist, I didn't get her name but she was a heavier set woman with greasy brown hair, tried to drag my dog inside by the collar and I had to show her how to hold a dog leash.

She also seemed like she wasn't competent enough to just pick up my 10 lb dog. Even when I said my dog has no problem with masks, they refused to wear masks. This is disgusting, and risking the health and safety of all of their patients and themselves.

We have been going here for about 13 years and I can't recommend Dr. Gaston and his team enough. They are all so caring and compassionate. Your furry family members are in good hands here.

I don't even know where to begin with how awesome my experience was with Veterinary Wellness Center. My dog that is a chihuahua/dachshund mix has a swollen disk putting pressure on her spine, causing mobility issues with her back legs. I have been patiently waiting with her on bed rest to see if she heals(recommended by a different vet) My personal chiropractor recommended Dr. Gaston, a doctor that approaches dogs with a more holistic angle, using things such as chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture. Dr. Gaston didn't have openings until November 24th. it is September. However, he saw how urgent her situation was and MADE a spot for her sooner.

He did not have to do this. he just cared enough to. I have had ONE visit with him and I gained so much knowledge on how to take care of my dog the right way. He sets aside enough time to talk to you and really get to know your dog. Dr. Gaston performed an adjustment on my Juno her first visit and is very hopeful that she will gain full normalcy and mobility without any surgery.

I left with supplements and new food recommendations and I couldn't believe how reasonably priced it was. I am so so excited to continue at this vet and I never plan on going anywhere else.

The friendly staff makes it a joy to come to this office. Dr Gaston has the 'magic' touch and saved my elderly Beagle's life by doing adjustments to her spine. The discomfort she had been feeling had her becoming depressed and sleeping more. Dr G kept her from having a disc surgery and has her running and jumping like she's half of her age! He's very kind to me and my dog! I highly recommend this place!
