Very kind, quick and clear. Love the staff from the front check in, to the ones taking notes/vitals to the docs themselves. Everyone makes sure you know that your animal will be taken care of.

Dr. Wolf and everyone at the clinic have been so wonderful every time we have taken our little man in. I always know that they treat our cat, Frankenstein, with the utmost care. Their COVID protocols are easy and straightforward, and I'm glad that they are considerate of their staff's safety.

I took my dogs in for updated vaccines so they can be boarded. After a wellness exam, they told me my dogs needed urgent dental surgery for thousands of dollars. We did the surgery but they forgot to update all the vaccines on their records so we were turned away from our pet hotel the night before a 6am flight.

Fantastic clinic that truly cares and takes their time to hear you out and answer questions. Additionally they are incredibly prompt which has been rare in my experience at other vets. For my pups annual appointment we were taken right on time and back home in under an hour.

I like many others got a puppy during the pandemic. It was hard to find a vet that would take new clients. After 2 years with them I really don't have anything great to say. None of the staff are friendly. Not one. It's hard to get appointments. They are very expensive. There is a wait list for everything. Want to get your animal fixed or teeth cleaned? They are constantly booked out 3 months and then taking names for a wait list. I would really try to find another vet. You will not be happy here. Good luck.

This Clinic is by far the best I've been too. Very considerate staff and open communication. Yes like all other clinics, they have been pretty booked up, but this is happening at almost every clinic around the nation. Definitely not just an issue at Lien. The negative reviews are clearly self entitled West Seattle residents that cry because they didn't get what they wanted! Highly recommend to contact these guys when they start taking new clients again.

Yikes. This place has gone downhill and the health of our animals is now suffering for it. Similar to other recent reviewers, we've been going to the clinic for years and now we can't get a call back or an email back. And on the rare occasion we can actually get through to someone, they're booked out for months. Our dog developed a concerning growth on her paw that was causing her a lot of distress; couldn't get a call back. Decided to take her to my parents' vet two hours away. Requested records multiple times, my parents' vet requested records multiple times.

Day of the appointment, the new vet still had no records from Lien to go off of. I also recently called about my cat having a reaction to his topical flea medication. The medication burned a hole in his fur at the application site and he was bleeding. I managed to get ahold of someone at the front desk weeks later. I expressed my multiple frustrations, the fact that my animals' health is suffering, the fact that I had almost no trust that I would ever hear back from them after this call.

She assured me she would discuss with a vet and call me back either same day or next day. To this day I still have not heard back. We're due to give our cat the flea medication again now, but can't. Don't know what to do. I work from home and have a human infant and a human toddler to look after and don't have this kind of time to spend hunting down my vet over and over again. We obviously have to find a new vet now, and it's really frustrating and disheartening. Used to be a nice place.

We've been taking our pets to Lien for 8+ years and it's sad to see the level of service slowly deteriorating. We used to sing praises over this clinic. We have always loved seeing Dr. Kraabel, but it seems he has mostly retired and things don't seem the same at the clinic. With two aging pets and issues that seem to pop up at any moment, it's really frustrating that 1) I can't recall the last time the front desk answered a call 2) it takes at least a day (sometimes more) to return calls 3) they usually can't schedule appointments less than 3 weeks out. Honestly, it gives me a lot of anxiety knowing a semi-urgent issue could surface at any moment and they don't have the capacity to help see us through it. For the sake of the animals, I really hope things turn around.

Have been going here for the past few years and the only place we HAD trusted, we would drive all the way from Bellevue to see them. Unfortunately, their front office staff are unprofessional and condescending. Dr. Wolf was a large reason why I came here and it was because she always treated our dog like family! Promised appointments get cancelled, promised return calls are never completed. Karla = WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

We've taken our dogs to Lien for a few years now and have unfortunately seen their service slowly deteriorate. They are severely understaffed and, in turn, very slow to respond (likely why they are not currently taking any new clients). Our dog recently injured his lower back and needs a doc consult and likely x-rays. When we (finally) got in touch with someone after multiple voicemails/emails, we were told that appointments for illnesses and injuries would not be available for several weeks and could not see our injured dog until December. Absolutely unacceptable and unreliable - we will be taking our dogs to a different clinic going forward.

So I guess this place has been bought and man is it noticeable. I tried to schedule an appointment and the Pet Desk app stated no available appointments. Just for fun I put in a 2022 date and "no appointments available" so I sent an email that my dog is sick and needs to be seen. Their response was that their first opening is in three weeks but if my dog would like to be seen at another office sooner they would be happy to forward his records.

No offer to be placed on a cancellation list. Their solution was for us to go to another office I understand times are hard with COVID but I don't think LIEN has a good handle on the office anymore. Just sucks because NO vet is taking new patients. So we have to wait three weeks for our sick dog to be seen and Just Hope that he doesn't escalate and get sicker. Really miss the personal touch this place had.

Lien Animal Clinic is not what it used to be. I have happily taken my dogs to Lien for six years, yet they have changed in the past couple of years. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment and they pass you off to other clinics even when my dogs have been in urgent situations. Their prices have increased while their level of service has decreased.

They recently have started to push extra services like teeth cleaning while not being available for basic or urgent care needs. The doctors are nice when you can get to them, but the overall care has left me looking for another clinic.

We always receive prompt, considerate service from knowledgeable vets and techs. The front desk is always helpful and friendly, and the pivot to Covid protocols was easily navigated (at least on our end!). It's a great place to take rabbits, as Dr Wolf is wonderful. Additionally, their end of life care is so lovely.

The staff and providers we've come in contact with have been nothing but helpful, warm, and professional! We always feel they truly care about our pup and that the care has been thorough yet we aren't getting ripped off. Even in pandemic-restricted times they were accessible and efficient. So happy with Lien Animal Clinic, thanks guys!

The doctors and all staff are AMAZING! Dr. Kraabel saved our dog's life by diagnosing her rare Myasthenia Gravis disease. She is so much better now and we are 110% thankful for all the staff and care at Lien.

If you care about your animal companion, please listen. Lien used to be a wonderful, personal place; they've been bought up and it really shows. My 14 year-old dog was seen there from a puppy but when she was dying they weren't available. Corporate buyout. I was turned away when I needed them most. The Greentree Hospital helped me with everything when I truly needed guidance and compassion.

They referred me to a vet who came to the house so I could be with my dog as she died. I truly wish I had given Greentree my business all these years - they were there for me when I needed them the most and that counts the most. Lien has become the Amazon animal clinic of West Seattle.

I raved about this practice when I established care here 4 years ago, mostly because of Dr. Wolf. As of late, I have been very dissatisfied with their customer service and availability. Dr. Wolf remains the only good thing about this practice. A few examples. A few months ago, I ordered a renewal of my dog's medication online. I had correspondence with a team member after the order but never received my order and had to bring it up at the next visit. Apparently, it got forgotten.

Recently (early March) I called to schedule a yearly exam and updated vaccinations for my 2nd dog. The front desk lady was very cordial but they didn't have any availability until May! May! She finally offered me an appt end of April and then told me I had 3 time slots to choose from. If there is no availability, how is there multiple time slots to choose from on the day I was offered?! Finally, one of my dogs is very old and has recently become ill (not eating, minimal activity, excreting liquid, etc).

He doesn't seem to be in pain but I think it may be close to his time given the sudden change in health. I call the clinic when they open at 8am and no answer so I leave a message with details and request a call back. Didn't hear all morning. Tried to call again at 9, 930, 945, and 1037 - no answer. I finally got a hold of someone around noon and explained what has been going on with my dog (a long term patient) and ask for an add on urgent care visit given the seriousness of his change in health.

They said they are at capacity both today and tomorrow with no possible room to add Oji to the schedule. They are now closed weekends. They recommended I go to the vet ER. So, how am I supposed to feel when they can't accommodate my dog / their long time patient who likely doesn't have much time left and may not make it though the weekend. These last few months now have me looking for a new vet.

I called around to different vets and got a great feeling from the initial call that my pet would be in good hands. I wasn't disappointed. My cat's first appointment was 100% positive. The staff was super sweet and answered all my questions and treated Prince with so much love. I won't go anywhere else!

Our pup had a pretty serious condition we had to treat and being new to the area had to choose a new vet. It was really scary since vets can sometimes be unpredictable in how good they are on various levels. Lien put all those fears to rest and really made the process a lot easier especially with the level of compassion they showed for our dog. I was a wreck on the days she had surgery and the constant updates with a little bit of humor were absolutely incredible. They managed to do this even while having minimal contact taking covid precautions, that says a lot about how brilliant they are.

I went to Lien's a long time ago to see how my yorkie was with a collapsed trachea. I adopted Sara when she was already sick, and I wanted her to be taken care of by the very best. Then when Jessica got ill, I was seeing another Vet for about 25 years. A long story, but they didn't care about my family; Jessica & Chloe'. So, I went back to Lien's.

Everyone is wonderful at Lien, they care about my fur babies & me. Someone just called from Lien, I left them a message for tomorrow, but they called me just now. Chloe' & Jessica are taked care of by the best Clinic in the whole world. They know how to take care of the animals with care, love & the right solutions. Thank you over and over again. You all have a special place in the universe, Bless you,

My dog, Zoe, is a rescue and extremely leery of going to the veterinarian for anything. She panics and becomes defensive if she's forced into doing something too quickly, or separated from me. After trying several local veterinarians, I decided that Lien Animal Clinic was the most accommodating. Dr. Wolf was always extremely patient with Zoe and administered vaccines in the exam room, never separating Zoe from me. Zoe was appreciative and while she still didn't enjoy the expe.

So thankful to have found Lien! We moved to Seattle from out of state and were so anxious to find a great vet for our Siberian Husky Maverick. We were fortunate Lien was the first place we decided to try because we have had nothing but great experiences. Within the last six or so months our dog has had multiple issues. Varying from a case of conjunctivitis to a possible auto immune disease, the continuous symptoms had left me extremely worried.

But no matter what, every single person that I interacted with at Lien has done nothing but comforted me while trying to get to the bottom of his issues. They have made sure they made time for Maverick every time I've requested an appointment, answered all of my calls and frequent emails (I'm talking at least 3 a week) about symptoms and progress, and above all else they are so thorough with their diagnoses and treatment plans.

They have been adamant about doing what is best for him while making sure his treatments are done in the most cost effective way. I am so grateful that they care about him as much as I do. Thank you Dr. Wolf and all of the Lien staff! HIGHLY recommend.

I had been going to Lien for more than 20 years. I have previously posted outstanding reviews. Things have changed substantially. I have had four dogs who received all sorts of care there, including one dog who died of cancer and one dog who had to be put down in my home. I exclusively saw Dr. Kraabel who was/is an excellent vet. However, this week one of my older BIG dogs (95 lbs) suddenly couldn't walk on one of his hind legs.

I called to see if I could get squeezed in and the receptionist just told me "no" and an appointment with someone wouldn't be open until at least next week. No attempt to check to see if I could be squeezed in - no referral to anyone else - just we can't do anything. While I understand that things are very hard right now for vets who can be overwhelmed, it was also a completely unacceptable way to treat a long-time client.

I note another review here from a few weeks ago and that person with an urgent situation got an appointment right away. Hmmmm. The reality is that the clinic was sold to an unidentified owner almost two years ago. Dr. Kraabel is no longer the Medical Director. He left that position recently and it shows. The business is NOT owned by Dr. Kraabel and his wife any longer, in spite of what it says on the website.

I did not want to leave Lien because of the quality of care I received and a very long term relationship, but if my dogs and I don't matter to Lien, then I have no choice. And I did find another local clinic that was willing to help me out in this situation and I had a TeleVet appointment that same day from the clinic at which I had never gone before. Lien could have done that for me but chose not to even try. I must assume it is the result of the new ownership and new Medical Director. It makes me very sad, but it is certainly a sign of things to come at Lien.

Great experience! I have been taking my senior dog here for about 2 years now and have been happy with the customer service as well as the vets. Most recently my dog all of a sudden was limping and not wanting to bear weight on his leg. I was worried they wouldn't be able to see him right away since they're very busy during this pandemic.

However they were amazing and able to see my dog that morning! Their new Covid protocols are great, they're wearing masks and meet you at your car, then take your pet in. Dr. Wolf was amazing and called me during the exam to explain what she noticed and the next steps she wanted to take. I definitely would recommend Lien Animal Clinic!

We've been going here for 10 years. They've taken care of six of our animals in that time. My only complaint is it seems as soon as we get a vet we like, they move! Staff is efficient, proficient, and professional. They are able to answer my questions. Front desk is very reliable about returning missed calls.

Well hot dog, I am impressed. Today I had my first appt here. I had been taking my English bulldog to another nearby vet, and didn't get a warm feeling from them. They just weren't sweet to my pup, overall standoffish, and with corona virus- since we can't go inside with him- they just grabbed him without talking to him, giving him a pat, etc. and he was terrified coming back. Lien was the exact opposite.

They were so happy to see my pup, it's like they were excited to be there to help. They asked me lots of questions before taking him and talked to him as he walked. Then, my update phone call from the vet was so reassuring. His mannerism was professional and upbeat, he knew his stuff. And, he seemed to genuinely appreciate my pup. He provided a lot of details, answered all my questions (and asked his own!), and didn't make me feel rushed.

I also like that I talked to the actual vet- not just the front desk- unlike my former vet. On top of that, this was my first vet visit in almost a year that wasn't $200. The check up was fairly priced and so was the medication. I will be recommending and coming back again!

Really caring staff and no BS. Check in process is easy and wait time is less than 5 min on a normal day. I really liked that the vet explained the issue my dog was having in bit more details rather than just prescribing a medicine. Everyone was super kind to Bella and showed so much love ! There are limited parking spots at the clinic but plenty of street parking available. Lastly I appreciated the follow up call to check how's her ear infection : Bella was back to being a happy dog after few days of treatment

Lien is a wonderful clinic, I had to take my dog in (despite quarantine, it was time sensitive). They have a great system- they meet you in the parking lot, you do intake there. Then they take your pet into the clinic- you wait in the car. Read a book, play on your phone, avoid spreading or exposing yourself to germs. They come back out to discuss conditions, treatment, etc.

It's so slick! And I didn't feel "left out" for even one minute. My dog, usually scared of his own shadow, returned to the car as if he'd had a play date with the greatest humans around. I think he did. Prices are super reasonable, scheduling is simple, staff is kind and patient and professional. I love this place. My vet is Dr Wolf, we've seen her for about 17 years and followed her to Lien- she chose a GREAT clinic to work at. Dr Wolf is smart, compassionate, honest, and has- on more than one occasion- saved our pets lives.

She is practical and offers multiple solutions, respects your budget and isn't afraid to let you know the details you need to care for your pet. My dog is 17.5 and our cats are 14 & 16 and we thank Dr Wolf for every year with them. So go to Lien, don't wait. Going today will give you more tomorrows with your pet.

We began seeing Dr Wolf years ago at another clinic, we'd drive to Alaska for her. We've been through rescues(with surprise pregnancies), purebreds with their usual health challenges, a tiny dog (now 17.5 and thriving!) and she's come through for us. As a vet she's brilliant, practical and understands both pets and owners. Lien is clean, well organized, thoughtful and I have friends who also come here- all say they love it. Lien offers online booking, an app for meds and very reasonable prices and options. Don't wait to go to the vet- get it done now and enjoy your pets longer.

We've taken our dog to Lien since we adopted him 3 years ago. He has always received the highest quality of care from each doctor we've had the pleasure of working with. The staff are equally as helpful and delightful. Today, during the COVID-19 outbreak, our dog required care. The team at Lien did an excellent job working quickly with online tools to expedite a diagnosis and care plan.

In particular, Dr. Seipel, did a great job with our online appointment and assessment. This practice is consistently excellent and especially organized and attentive during this challenging time. I recommend them most highly.

Simply the best! Amazing staff giving phenomenal care. Human health care could learn some things from Lien for sure. Perfect example a friend of mine found a lost pet and called another local clinic closer to them about getting the dog scanned for a chip. That clinic said they were too busy to take the time to do so. They called Lien next who not only said they could do it right away, they were happy to keep the puppy there until the owner could pick it up.

They only negative is extremely small parking lot, but there is ample street parking within an easy walk. They will also special order dog food in jumbo sized bags if you call ahead, so no need for an additional stop :

Taking our cat to Lien Animal Clinic for annual exam and vaccinations was a great choice for us. Staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Wootton's and his assistant John's approach to our cat was really nice, I haven't seen my cat that much calm and relaxed with someone else before. They gave us valuable recommendations about our cat's health. From my experience with Lien Animal Clinic I could say that they are not after your money, they are after your lovely pet's health. I would definitely recommend them.

These folks care about their animals and they listen to you. They took care of my pet when it was his time to be put down with grace and compassion, and were kind enough to do it at my house so I didn't have to scare him with one last vet visit, for which they will always have my gratitude. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Parking is tight, but there is street parking in the surrounding block.

So thankful for Lien Animal Clinic! As a first time dog owner I could not ask for a better veterinarian office. They are always quick to respond, have an amazing phone app and everyone who works there is so sweet and helpful! My puppy is constantly getting into things and as a super social pup she loves to make friends and take home whatever they have. Lien has been super helpful in putting my mind at ease whenever I think she has something (most times she does) and for always fitting us in as soon as possible, not to mention they are always happy to see her and give her a good scratch. Thank you to the entire team at Lien for making our lives so much easier!

I just picked up my two guinea pigs from Lien. Today was their second annual wellness check-up and second tooth trimming. We love Lien! The first time we went, Dr. Kraabel saw one of my pigs for a broken tooth. We were able to get an appointment quickly, and at that time scheduled a follow-up for both to get trimmings the next day. When he had a runny nose and eye gunk around the holidays, we weren't able to be seen, but got the appropriate medication prescribed. Today's visit checkup was wonderful.

We showed up a bit early, but Dr. Wolf saw us quickly and commented on a bit of weight loss. I was able to leave them there for the day when I had to go to work, and thanks to their AWESOME hours, I picked them up in the evening. Dr. Kraabel called after their trimming to explain they didn't need full sedation (yay for saving money) and explained how the procedure went.

They were happy and alert when I came to take them home. I love having a vet in the West Seattle area who can take care of our pocket pets. Thank you to everyone at Lien! The staff has always been friendly and kind, and they shower our pigs with so much love

Thank you Dr. Keri Dertinger. Our Rottweiler mix had been our loyal companion for over a decade when his health went bad and he became terminal. We tried to give him as much comfort as we could. He would eat but didn't gain weight. His weight had declined. He tried to keep his dignity but he was to weak. He had developed a large tumor on his head and went blind.

He tried his hardest to be the best he could be. It was hard to see him like that. We finally did what was the hardest thing to do. You and your staff were understanding and professional and helped us to say good bye in the most compassionate way. You let us bring him in on a very short notice. You let us bring Pilot in quietly thru the side door and he was relaxed all the way. Thank you all.

Can't say enough about this amazing vet. From reception to the vet techs to the vets themselves, everyone I have worked with has been fantastic. It's sometimes hard to get in right away since they are so popular, but definitely worth the wait. I especially love that they have rugs on the floor in all the exam rooms, a comfy spot for your dog to sit! Just one example of how they go above and beyond to take care of the patient - your pet!

We brought out 15yr old Golden Retriever here due to skin allergies that we couldn't get figured out for the last couple of years. After a handful of vets, and thousands of dollars, Pounder finally got some relief! Thank you to Dr. Zawacki as she listened to our concerns and spent time with us, rather than just writing the prescription and sending us on our way. We would recommend Lein to anyone that has a furry family member.
