Karen and staff are wonderful. Their caring, compassion and professionalism is evident.
Over the years, they've helped us send three of our fur babies over the rainbow bridge, and done so with sensitivity and heartfelt sympathy.

We have a new puppy and Fredonia Vet has been wonderful. I needed some advice even before we had our first appointment. When we did have our appointment they were so caring and they didn’t make me feel like any question I had was a dumb question. Again today, i needed some advice as our pup ate some chocolate and they were very helpful. They also gave me the phone number for the pet poison hotline and called me back after they realized that their number had changed. Thank you so much for all of your help. We certainly made the right choice by entrusting our care with you!

I’ve been taking my Teddy Bear (shih tzu Mic) pup here for 7 years! Today he had his first dental appointment and Dr. Shannon handled him with the absolute best care, and me too, as she could tell I was anxious.

Wouldnt go anywhere else, the care I got for my Mattie was outstanding. And the day Karen helped her cross the Rainbow Bridge, I got so much support at that most difficult time in my life. They gave me the time I needed with her as sge went peacefully. And now with my Bailey, Doc Beth has her hands Full

Whether a beloved family member, a working companion, an equine athlete, or a trail horse - there are many ways our animals enrich our lives. We can help to keep your animal healthy throughout their lifetime. We are a 7-doctor, mixed animal practice established in 1982. Our veterinarians and staff care for a wide variety of animals. We provide routine preventative medicine and wellness exams as well as the evaluation and treatment of illnesses, injuries, or other needs that arise with our patients.

The mission of the team of doctors and staff at Fredonia Veterinary Clinic is to be known for high quality care and friendly service. We strive to provide excellent care for our patients and exceptional customer service for our clients. We are committed to practicing veterinary medicine with strong ethics and high standards. Our goal is to gain the trust of our clientele and keep that trust for a lifetime. The doctors and staff of Fredonia Veterinary Clinic would like to thank all of our clients, past and present, for the trust that you have given us to care for your very special animal friends.

During this difficult time all of the staff and Doctors at Fredonia Veterinary Clinic are committed to providing the highest level of care and service possible to our clients and their pets. For everyone's safety and well-being we are not having clients enter the clinic. Upon arrival to the clinic, please call or text us at 262-692-2439 from your car. Let us know what parking space # you are in. A technician will come out to you wearing a mask and will take your pet in for treatment. We will communicate via phone during the appointment and to take payment when it is completed.

We offer after-hours emergency services, for large and small animals, to current clients of Fredonia Veterinary Clinic. In the event of an emergency, call us now at 262-692-2439, and press "2" to be connected to the on-call doctor's cell phone. If you reach the doctor's voicemail, we are busy helping other patients, but please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Not an emergency? Please leave a message on the clinic's voicemail and someone will get back to you during normal business hours.

We're happy to be a resource for your reproductive questions and challenges. Before breeding, a mare should receive a Wellness Exam and be current on all preventative care and vaccinations. An assessment of breeding soundness should also be conducted, which involves rectal palpation and ultrasound to determine the health of your mare's reproductive organs, as well as where she is in her cycle. If your mare has had trouble getting pregnant in the past, a uterine cytology, culture, or biopsy may be recommended to diagnose any chronic problems.

A lame horse may have an obvious problem, like a non-weight bearing or swollen leg, or a more subtle lameness. We use a variety of techniques to help identify the source of a lameness including physical examination and palpation, checking the hooves for soreness with hoof testers, gait assessments, flexion tests, nerve and joint blocks. At FVC, we have portable x-ray units that can be taken to the farm or used at our clinic. Our digital radiography allows us to view the radiographs right away on a laptop computer while still at the farm.

The team at FVC welcomes appointments for all animals. We offer farm call and in-clinic services for large animals. Whether you have just a few animals or a large herd, we look forward to providing the care your animals need.
