Products & Services

Appointments

Our appointment book is computerized which makes it possible for us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and staff will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital instantly. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian and team on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has during regular office hours. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to make a call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you get here, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

Customer Testimonials

Wow! Thanks to all the staff at Anderson Vet Clinic. I feel like you all truly love what you do! My kitty, Lola and I always have such a pleasant experience when we come in. Fortunately, it’s usually just for a check-up, but I would not leave Lola in anyone else’s hands but yours. Thank you for your caring commitment!

Fabio wasn’t eating the food I was giving him and I didn’t feel he was getting the nutrition he needed. Thanks to Dr. Anderson, he evaluated Fabio and his current diet to make some recommendations and now Fabio has gone from barely eating to finishing his meals and he looks healthier than ever. You clearly are an expert in your field...thanks so much!

Dr. Murphy and Jessica were heroes helping Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary rescue a wolf-dog who had escaped! Wonderful folks! Thank you!

From Our Website

Spending more time outdoors means more exposure to the elements, especially fleas and ticks. It's important that all your pet's preventative care is up to date, including flea, tick, heartworm treatments and vaccinations. Pet parents should keep a file with their pets' medical information handy and stay on top of all your pets' annual and seasonal veterinary wellness needs. Pets should wear their ID tags at all times especially during the warmer months when they will be spending more time outside.

Four Paws Animal Clinic would like to take this opportunity to welcome you, your family, and your special family member to our website. As you continue to browse and explore our website, it is our hope that you will learn more about our dedication to your family and the quality veterinary medicine and service we provide. Our goal here at Four Paws Animal Clinic has always been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care.

If your pet is extremely sick or so severely injured that he or she will never recover normal health, perhaps the kindest thing you can do for your pet is help induce its death quietly and humanely through euthanasia. Your decision to have your pet euthanatized is a serious one, and seldom easy to make. The grieving process includes accepting the reality of your loss, accepting that the loss and accompanying feelings are painful, and adjusting to your new life that no longer includes your pet. How do I tell my family?

Bloat and gastric torsion is a serious condition and your pet should be rushed to the emergency room if this occurs. Certain breeds of dogs with deep chests and narrow waists, such as hounds, bouvier des Flandres, or doberman pinschers are more susceptible to a syndrome of gastric torsion and bloat. Gastric Dilation Volvulus (GDV) is a life threatening, acute condition that requires immediate medical attention. Certain breeds are more prone to this condition: boxers, great Danes, standard poodles, saint bernards, Irish setters, dobermans, weimaraners and gordon setters.

As with anything, pet vaccinations can be too much of a good thing. Similar to parents who are learning more about vaccinations for children, veterinarians and pet owners alike are beginning to question some of the standard wisdom when it comes to protecting pets. Spaying and neutering your pet is a common practice in the United States. With so many animals in the United States (and around the world) needing homes, spaying or neutering your pet is the responsible way to help end pet homelessness.

Birds have recently become very popular as pets. And for good reason. They have many positive attributes, but very few negative characteristics. Many people who meet a good bird for the first time are amazed at how friendly and affectionate birds can be. They offer a great deal of companionship and will return all of the love you can give. More and more people are discovering that caged birds bring color, song or vocalization, and amusement into their lives. Many birds form strong attachments to people and make excellent companions.
