First time having to go to an ER vet and I have to say it was the nicest experience we could’ve possibly had. The staff was so friendly and informative. I hope we never have to go to an ER vet again but if we do, we’re bringing our babies here!

They literally saved our dog Milly’s life. She got into the bag of dog food and ate her self to near death. I was sure she would not make it. They called us to come in at 4AM because she was so bad. When we got there Milly lifted her head and struggled to try to get up. At that point the staff and doctor said, she is fighting and so should we. She asked to try one more thing. Well that one more thing turned her around and Milly started to improve. She spent a week there but she got better. She will be 10 in July and would, if she could, do that to herself again! I am so thankful we came here that night. And they share a building with our Veterinarian which makes it the best possible set up for us!

My cat Pedro was in a week ago for feline lower urinary tract disease. The staff were so wonderful to my baby boy. They informed me of everything they were doing currently and would need be done so I always felt in the loop. I could never thank them enough for what they did saving my baby's life. He recovered, but unfortunately he passed last night due to an unrelated issue. Again, when I brought him in they were very professional and caring while handling my sensitive situation. It is never easy to lose your baby, but they made it a little easier with their kindness. I absolutely recommend this facility for other pet owners, and I will always be thankful for the staff and their assistance during these difficult two weeks.

Customer Testimonials

Last week Lucy suffered a grand mal seizure. We called the clinic and they told us we could bring her in immediately. The staff made us feel as though Lucy was their only interest and understood how critical her health issues are to us. They are wonderful folks. Over the past 25 years, we have had reason to use EVS services several times (we always have 4-5 dogs). We feel so much better knowing they are available and eager to help in any emergency situation.

Excellent care for our dog Callie who had a deep puncture wound and laceration on her chest. Staff was very friendly and caring. Dr. Lisel was very thorough and took great care of Callie. Molly, Dr. Lisel Ruterbories and other staff, thank you for everything you did for Callie and helping us through the night.

I unexpectedly had to put down my 14 year old fur baby in the middle of a Saturday night on Labor Day weekend. The emergency staff were so kind, patient, and warm while being professional and capable in caring for my pet. While I said goodbye to my best friend of almost 15 years at 2am in the middle of the night, they didn't rush me or show anything but compassion. These women were meant to be in the veterinary business. Specifically, Susan made our very difficult evening much more bearable by how she explained the necessary processes in cremation and other after care and her gentle demeanor. When I went back nearly a week later to pick up my loved one's ashes, she spoke to me like a friend and even shared her own story of when she lost her own pet, again making a nearly unbearable moment in my life a little less difficult. (And on top of everything, both Susan and the veterinarian sent a sympathy card and signed it personally with sweet messages about my Pandora.) Thank you again for your kindness.

My 6 month kitten (Merlin) was neutered almost a week ago and also had a growth removed (vaccine sarcoma). He developed a seroma under the incision where the growth was and we noticed it after vet hours. We didn’t know what it was so we brought him in and the staff here was amazing! They answered all of our questions, and explained everything extremely well so we knew exactly what was going on. The doctor explained all of the treatment options and helped us choose what would work best for him. Everyone was so nice and welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door. I highly recommend this place! And thank you to the staff who helped us tonight you were wonderful!

There are not enough words!! This last week we almost lost our puppy. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the emergency staff and vet, our little Toby is doing amazing! Thank you patience and dedication. You did not give up on us or our little guy!!! We appreciate it more than you know! We agave already recommended and will continue to do so! Thank you again for everything!!

While the reason for our visit was every pet owner's worst fear, they treated our boy and our family with dignity and love. Thank you EVS.
