Emergency Pet Hospital Over my 19 years as an emergency veterinarian there is a parting statement I have heard over and over from clients."I hope we don't need to see you again." Thankfully most folks say this with a smile. Of course none of us want our pets to have an illness or injury that requires emergency care. In reality these things do occur, frequently after your family veterinarian has closed.

Hopefully there is a small comfort in knowing we are here for you if you do need us. Our caring and skilled doctors and staff will treat your pet with compassion and integrity to help your pet and you through whatever crisis may arise.

Staff is amazing. Wonderful service for my furry friend. Got the best attention all three times that I had to go. The main doctor (also the owner) had wonderful hands in operating on my dog and the nurses were wonderful with the after care. I didn't like how we meet but I loved getting to know the staff and share with them.

From receptionist, to nurses, to doctor these guys have a great team! My cat came in with sever DKA diagnoses and the team did everything in their power to get him back healthy. They understood my situation and helped me out anyway they could to accommodate me. They were all optimistic about my cats recovery and am so grateful they were here to help!

Dr Chase saved my rabbits life. Summer had bladder sludge. Dr Chase flushed my rabbits bladder. I still had to follow up with regular exotic vet & give fluids for a few weeks. But Summer is doing great now. Thank you Dr Chase!

ANGELS! Thank you to all that saved my pup's life in November! I cannot thank the amazing vets and staff enough at Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier. No words can express how thankful I am to have been near an extraordinary team that treated my baby in his critical condition. I was a wreck and they were able to reassure me, explain everything in detail, show patience and genuine love and kindness.

My family, my dog and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Without them and the grace of God, my dog would have not made it. He is happy and thriving now thanks to this incredible ER vet!

I had the best experience at this emergency vet hospital. Dr. Madison performed an ultrasound on my little yorkie's bladder and kidneys. He did such a thorough exam of her and when he was done, he took a very generous amount of time to explain everything to me. He was so kind and simply exceptional. I was very impressed! Thank you!

My puppy found some rat poison while on vacation. I googled the first vet office open 24hours. They took care of my puppy and made me feel reassured that she will be okay as long as I follow the proper treatment plan. They were extremely reasonably priced and I'm so very thankful for them in my hour of need.

We have always had wonderful experiences here. With a houseful of Peke's, it's never a dull moment. This doctor and staff are so caring and attentive. Tonight they saw our sweet Lucy, who gave us quite a scare. Dr Madison was thorough and gave us peace of mind. We have trusted this animal hospital for years.

Our 15 year old cat Frank seemed to be slipping away.we brought her here. In a few hours we had multiple test results that confirmed she was suffering and that there was no fix. I left the building that night without Frank but I knew that we had put a peaceful end to her suffering. I dont have experience with other vet's, but I know that this was a great choice, they have the ability to do blood work, ultrasound, etc on site. Another point worth mentioning, I never felt like I was being 'hurried' through process. it was very personal.

I have been to Emergency Pet Hospital twice in the last five years. The first time was when I had to make the difficult decision to put down my fur baby Max; he was a senior dog that was diagnosed with cancer after a seizure and it spread quickly. DESPITE how the cancer should have been "caught" the first time, it was clear that my Max wanted to spend a few more days with me. HE told me when it was time to go.

At that time, I could not have been more grateful for the staff; receptionists, doctors, techs, EVERYONE. My Max was a big boy, already "dying" and having to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. The staff, along with myself, were in tears. You could feel the love, care, comfort and passion in the room from all involved.

It took me 4 hours from start to finish and not once was I told I had to hurry up, leave, move, etc. They checked on me twice, just to make sure I was okay, at which the first time I needed more tissues and the second time they woke me up because I fell asleep on my dog after his final breath. The crying exhausted me. From that day, until last night, I had only gone back once to pick up his ashes which was a year later.

Last night, actually it was around 2 am, I had brought my new fur baby in for "poison control." A classic lab, she got into something she was not supposed to. I had talked to the receptionist/vet tech prior to coming in and she gave me the best advice she could. This led me to calling ASPCA Poison Control and bringing in my lab for all the bells and whistles. Was it costly? Yes. Did I expect it to be? Yes.

Do we live in Naples, FL where EVERYTHING is expensive? Yes. Was I informed ahead of time of what the costs and process would be? YES! As I read the 1 star review comments, I wonder if any of those fur parents reflect back on their review and choose to change it or not. I truly empathize, these pets are our children and we will do whatever we can for them, and I can assure you that the family at Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier County does the same. Thank you, again, to the staff at Emergency Pet Hospital!

We unfortunately had to bring our sweet little Becca into the hospital at 2:00 am. She was in distress. We were met at the door by Jill who was so professional and calm. She immediately took Becca into the back to be seen by Dr. Madson. While she was being examined Jill kept us informed as to what was happening. Dr. Madson came out to explain in detail as to what was happening and all of our options.

He was very kind and compassionate throughout. After coming to the difficult conclusion for Becca they let us have a room to say our goodbyes with no sense of being rushed. He then stayed with us afterward, again letting us have the time we needed. In such a difficult moment Dr Madson and Jill could not have been more professional and compassionate. Thank you! I highly recommend them for any of your pet needs

Terrible experience for me. My dog was having difficulty breathing, they took him quickly to the back and treated him. He had fluid on his lungs. I left him there and was told to pick him up at 7:30 am. I returned and the receptionist was nice. She told me to return to pick up medication. I knew my dogs health was failing however his comfort was my concern.they told me originally to take him to a vet for treatment after release however when I picked him up I was told he is doing much better and can be observed at home.

I came back to pick up prescription, I was then told there was no prescription. I was very confused. There was another receptionist there. I was told the vet that saw my dog was on vacation for the next week and I would have to see another vet and pay additional. What? He was treated there and you have all his paperwork. I just want my dog to be comfortable and not in constant pain.

I felt as though I was now being scammed due to my concern for my pet. I had already paid about $1500.00. Why should I pay when I should have received meds before leaving? They made a difficult time so much more stressful. My dog died a few days later. I was unable to take him to another vet because they were booked. I am so upset. I did come backhoping to get a prescription to make him more comfortable, however they sat us in a room for 2 hours, I just left, they called me an hour after that asking my where abouts. So it would have been 3 hours waiting while my dog was struggling. Why would you do that to someone in such a desperate situation?

Husband and I came in Saturday night with our little shih tzu. She had a severe allergic reaction to something she encountered on our walk. They immediately saw her even though we had not called in. We were in route when she started getting worse. They took her back in seconds after we got there, flushed her with IVs and Benadryl. Kept her over night and even called to tell us that night she was already looking better. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and extra healing to our little family. She's doing great now. Not sure we would still have her if it wasn't for you.

Dr. Catherine Horsely saved my dogs life. He was diagnosed and treated for bowel obstruction needing a bowel resection after being misdiagnosed by another local emergency vet ER. He was near perforation and caught in the nick of time. She is very knowledgeable and VERY skilled. I am forever grateful for her and her team!

Brought my cat in around 5pm since our normal vet was closed(weekend). She had multiple surgeries a few days ago and sounded like she was having a hard time. The staff here was super nice and helped her out and gave us some more medications to take home. The amount it cost was actually cheaper than I was expecting considering it's an ER. I'll definitely be going here again if needed.

While it was unfortunate that I had to take my dog here this morning, I felt very well taken care of and knew I needed to write a review once I got home. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly and we were in the exam room within a few minutes. I also appreciated that staff came to inform me of how much services would be, and also what to expect if I wished to add on anymore. If your pet has an emergency. I highly recommend going here!

My family Experienced a pet medical Emergency at 11:00 P.M., We never used their services before and just couldn't wait till morning for our regular Vet. They were very understanding and compassionate with our needs. We knew our Great dog was Dying and decide it was time to euthanize him. They explained everything to us before and made the dog very comfortable. I hope know one has to go through this but they were really great in their handling the situation.

We took our poodle in after he had eating a substantial amount of dark chocolate. Greeted by Nurse Nicole and Dr. Chase, both extremely knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Chase called me later in the evening to update me on his care, showed how much she cared about our dog. Awesome facility, very caring and clean. Highly recommend them.

I am absolutely appalled at how this 'Emergency Pet Hospital' is run. My little sister, 2 weeks ago, received a 6 week old lop-eared bunny for her 11th birthday. He is the size of a tennis ball. The other day, the bunny was in complete shock where he was in mobile position and couldn't walk. At this time, all vets were closed so we decided to take him to EPH.

It was $105 for a doctors visit so that was paid regardless. They came out, and said we have 3 options; a) take him home and he has a 50/50 chance of living (likely that he would die), b) pay almost $1000 and they will perform any treatments for him to survive, or c) surrender him to the vet and he's no longer ours. Unfortunately in times like these with a pandemic going on, people are losing jobs.

Both of my parents got laid off, so to come up with that much money right then and there is difficult. The bunny was $35 and we purchased him at Pet Kingdom. EPH is saying Pet Kingdom shouldn't have sold him because he is "too tiny." I understand they gave our bunny the proper treatment to survive, I respect that 100%, I'm definitely not taking that away from them but, this IS the vets job, correct? However, with the coronavirus happening, at least work with us, compensate with us, do half with us.

We were willing to work with them and give them $600, they wouldn't accept that. Just very hurt, taken back, and upset. EPH should've been more compassionate, once again, DURING TIMES LIKE THESE!!!!

Grateful to have this hospital to treat my bunny in the middle of the night. Most places only treat cats and dogs after hours. Thank you Dr. Madison!

I am so happy that I went to this amazing emergency pet hospital! They saved my dogs life! They were fast, proactive, and accurately diagnosed my dog Sweetie when she presented with respiratory distress. Within minutes, both Liz and Dr. Erik Madison were explaining to my husband and I that Sweetie had a tracheal collapse and was already on oxygen treatment and given medications.

They kept her overnight to make sure she was ok. Dr. Madison called my husband and I before we went to bed to update us on Sweeties condition. Dr. Madison and his staff saved Sweeties life and were very compassionate toward our needs. As an ICU nurse and a wife of a Physican, we could not be more impressed with this Emergency Vet! Thank you all, especially Liz and Dr. Madison, for your hard work and compassion! I can’t thank you enough for saving Sweetie’s life!

I've had to bring my 6 year old German Shepherd here a few times throughout the years. The staff has always been so nice and caring. I actually just picked her up from there this morning after she had to stay the night there because she thought drinking toilet water with bleach was a good idea... the receptionist was so sweet and I know they took good care of my Holly Berry. Thank you so much EPH!!
