Not a place I would even take someone else's pet. Way too caught up in social media values instead of my values and my pet and his well-being you side with communism and should be put out a business.

This review is way overdue ad I'm hoping that it will help others. Our 15 year chihuahua Daisy was having digestive system problems. Long story short, she passed away. Dr. Miller did all she can, but what really stuck with my wife and I is how empathetic and loving she was to our Daisy. Another shoutout to Vicky, one of the nurses. She helped us out greatly when we had to fly overseas with our dog Shaggy. We're here now in Guam and it's been 5 years but we often think of your clinic. Hearts of gold are in there.

Amazing group of professionals. I took my kitty in for tooth surgery, and they had him in and out in less than 3 hours. They've been super patient with my boy, even though he's extremely skittish. They've given amazing food recommendations, and are always happy to see us when we come in!

The staff is compassionate and friendly. When I had to put down my old cat they were very kind to me. They take care of my new cat very well.

I'm new to the area and called to make an appointment for my dog and was put on hold immediately "for a brief moment". 1:16 later, I asked if they were accepting new animals and they said they were, but they were booked a ways out. I was then told that there was a $67 non-refundable deposit just to BOOK an appointment, no matter when it was scheduled. Forgive me, but that's unconscionable.

I could walk my dog to this vet, but I will be taking him elsewhere. (BTW, if the deposit was to have been applied to the first visit, I would have been more amenable to booking an appointment. But, if this is the case, it was not even mentioned or made clear at all.) NOTE: I did not just "hang up." I was told of the fee. I repeated what I heard and the receptionist confirmed it without appending it. I said I'd be taking my dog elsewhere and "thank you for your time." The conversation was, it seemed to me, over. Then I ended the call.

I recently moved to the north-end and I'm looking to establish a good veterinarian for my two dogs. I was referred to Edmonds Vet Hospital because they were accepting new clients and the receptionist who answered was rude, dismissive and unprofessional. I inquired about seeing if I could get my two dogs on their schedule and he immediately cut me off and told me that they were booked out for the month.

I told him I understood and I wouldn't mind scheduling something and he immediately cut me off again to explain why they were so busy and getting new clients scheduled has been difficult. Without giving me the opportunity to get a word in I asked him a question and he paused and said, "so, what's up!?" A little taken aback I explained that I would call them back another time. Suffice it to say I will not be calling back. His customer service was extremely poor. I also found another veterinarian who is way more accommodating, understanding and overall professional.

Today i called The Edmonds Veterinary Hospital for my 11 year old dog. She has been having a loose stool for a couple days and today she had some blood with her stool. I asked the receptionist " Walter " if he could suggested of any thing I could do at home before bringing her in. Walter said he wasn't a doctor and that he couldn't suggested or do anything.

So I asked if a doctor at hospital could give me a call so I could talk to them. he said NO doctors call clients. Not true because my dogs doctor has called me before. Walter said that I needed to make an appointment and the next appointment would be in a week. Off course that doesn't work for me since it would be 7 days later. I asked if I could be put me on a waiting list and he said no until I made an appointment. 7 days to wait for an appointment hopefully my dog doesn't die since no one can call me back.

The way how Walter handle the situation was incorrect he has not manners to talk to clients and this is not the first time he has done this in person and over the phone. The way how Walter speaks to clients is unacceptable. By looking at the Yelp reviews looks like I'm not the only one. The owner of the veterinary should have a conversation with Walter.

Too many snide remarks from staff and the owner to bother with this place even though it is very conveniently located.

I've been taking my cat to Edmonds Veterinarian Hospital for 6 years. I would highly recommend Dr. Fry and her staff. They've always gone out of there way to answer any questions I have and be accommodating. They are very friendly and understanding wherever I have questions or concerns with my cat.

We have been taking pets to this vet for over 20 years with great service and care. Until recently, when our 8 year old cat suddenly became very uncomfortable, couldn't seem to get comfortable. It was a Saturday morning and we took Jack up to our vet hoping they could tell us what was happening. Instead the worker came out to our car, due to Covid, and told me that he had zero time for us and furthermore Jack hadn't been seen by the vet in many years.

He shamed me. And sent us away. Walter is his name. Walter hadn't checked to see how many dollars we had spent on several expensive dog visits we had made over the last 3 months. if Walter didn't work there I might go back but not while that guy is there. He's nasty.

Followed Dr. Johnson here from Brier. Love his bedside manner. He works on Thursdays as of 8/20/20.

The vet here is rude and uncaring. Very unhelpful and quick to suggest expensive surgery instead of providing educated prognosis. I do not recommend this vet. Find someone else.

The clinic has provided good care and advice for my mostly healthy cat, but the prices are high, so high I am reluctant to use them. For example, six months worth of over-the-counter flea treatment cost $120 at Edmonds Veterinary Hospital, almost twice the price for the same brand at Petco or Amazon for $65.00.

I've been with Edmonds Vet Hospital for almost 10 years, with 4 different dogs (all Pugs- 2 out of the 4 had chronic &/ or serious medical problems). The staff is wonderful, caring, respectful of your choices for your pet, and easy to get in at the last minute for urgent issues. The staff is especially caring with nervous doggies who get really scared at the vet. They're great about following up with you for test results & doing it promptly. Its clear to me that they're not in this for the money; they're in this business to help your pets.

Profit driven. Shown to care more about adding frivolous charges to "included follow ups" than the well being of pets. Charges exceeded $800 for ear infection and was never resolved. Poor pup still in pain. Thanks for nothing.

We've been going to Edmonds Vet Hospital for at least 15 years and they've always been very caring and considerate with the care of our animals. The staff are always welcoming and all our pets have loved going. Unfortunately over the last 3 years we've had to make the hard decision to euthanize 2 of our older pets. Most recently today our cat. Dr Frye and the staff we're very caring and thoughtful. We can't say enough nice things about the care our animals have received there. Highly recommend this Veterinary clinic! The Dougall's

This hospital has genuinely caring staff. They are not in this field to make money but to care for animals and help them have "quality of life" Anyone who feels that a veterinarian is in this for the money has not figured out what they actually make for a living I would take this kind of empathy and kindness over many of the hospitals out there today They have your pets best interest at heart

Great staff. The lady at the front desk was not very friendly but the rest of the staff was amazing. They were gentle and nice to my cat. They also helped me plan out the care for my cat so I wouldn't have to pay a lot at once but my cat would still get all the care she needs. They were also very informative and why she needed certain things and the differences between treatments. Great place. I would recommend this place to anyone and I'm definitely going back.

A wonderful little slice of local-business care for Edmonds-based furkids; we've not only come to appreciate the quality of their treatment plans for our Bull Terrier, Bella, but also the warm reception that she gets every time she comes tucking up to Five Corners during her afternoon walks. Dr. Ivy's been a great touchstone and "parenting mentor" for us after we adopted our doggo, and with so many breed-based intangibles--dietary issues, the occasional paw injury, the fact that Bella has a penchant for running head-first into immovable objects with rocket-noggin speed--we've come to appreciate not only the empathy that's an earmark of her approach, but also her willingness to answer what are, by any metric, REALLY dumb and basic questions about keeping one's fuzzy family members healthy and happy.

I have been taking my dogs to Edmonds Veterinary for 8 years, and been very happy with the care. Unfortunately, the new ownership with Dr Frye is terrible. When I brought my sick dog in she entered the room clearly intoxicated or drugged, slurring her words, asking the same questions over and over again and was cold and condescending the entire time.

She suggested a "cystocentesis" for my dog since their equipment was "broken" which resulted in a much higher fee for me. When my dog came back in the room after Dr Frye did the test she was almost in a seizure and yelping in severe pain - something that has never happened to her! I asked the the Dr what happened and she smugly said "I don't know - maybe take her to the ER"!

I left the office after a $250 bill with my dog in worse shape then when I came in. Dr Frye was condescending, uncaring and not fit to care for any of our beloved pets. BEWARE! It's a scam here now

I've been taking my dogs, present and past, here for the last 25years. I have been happy with the treatment my pets have received, with empathy, gentleness and being comforting. That all changed today when I took my dog in to see Dr. Frye. She was cold, rude, not comforting to my pet AT ALL. My dog has never been afraid of the vet up until today.

She was so rough with the way she handled him, she was not careful when giving his shots and made him bleed all over the place and appeared annoyed. She jammed the vial for his bordatella shot in his mouth so roughly he started climbing up my body to get away from her. For the outrageous prices they charge for everything you would think some manners would come with it. Save your time and money and go to a vet who cares about your pets well being. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

We've brought our golden retriever here for 10 years, and we've always been happy. Yesterday was particularly good. The front desk staff went out of their way to calm her nerves with biscuits and love. The vet tech was calming and extremely knowledgeable. The veterinarian sat down on the floor with her for the exam, and took a lot of time with her, even though there were no major problems.

She had a mass on her gums and could really use a teeth cleaning, but they provided all the information without pushing anything. It is clear that they put animals, not profits, first. They are top notch, animal loving professionals!

My Gunnar loves going to this place! He gets all excited when we pull into the parking lot. He has been coming here for the last year and has been boarded here as well as receiving his health care. The staff are always friendly and know him by name when we walk in. The level of care we have received here has been exceptional. I wouldn't want to have to take him anywhere else.

Great place to take your pets! We love the front desk, vet techs and docs! We have been taking our 4 cats in to the Edmonds Veterinary Hospital since we moved to the area 3 years ago. I appreciate the loving care they give our animals and the fact that they have been upfront and honest about fees and charges. No surprises! The docs have taken our cats last minute on two separate occasions when they have become ill with infections.

We believe our animals are alive today because they worked so hard to get our pets in to be seen last minute. One time they made room to see us before a busy holiday weekend. They are always welcoming and never judge me for the care I can/cannot afford to give my animals or because I have "indoor/outside" cats! They are ALWAYS very supportive. These guys are gems if you are looking for a solid vet clinic that has your animals care in their best interest!

I had been taking my dog here for years, until now. Just recently this practice has changed owners. I'm not sure when this happened but it didn't seem important to tell the current patients. I came in for what seemed like a simple procedure for Dr. Remick and his staff, but because there are all new staff there I was told it had was done differently.

I didn't understand why it needed to be done differently when it worked before. It's like the saying goes "if it ain't broke don't fix it" kind of deal. I felt as though I wasn't given any other option then to do the major procedure they wanted. I left there feeling uneasy, helpless and broke. I then went home called around and found a place that will do the procedure the "old way" and for half the cost. If you love your pets don't take them here. I know I will never be back.

My six dogs are my most precious gifts. The only place I feel safe taking them for care is EVH. The staff there are caring and well trained, the practice is properly managed, and the vets care deeply about providing the best care possible in the most caring manner. Each of my dogs has multiple heath issues (puppy mill rescues one and all) and require special handling. EVH doesn't take short cuts--they do the right thing for each animal and provide constant supervision while the animals are in care. It's a good sign when your dog wants to go to the vet, and when she really would rather stay there than come home after surgery.

I took my cats here after battling a flea infestation for several weeks. Since I was moving to a new place, I had them bathed and treated before introducing them into their new flea-free home. These folks took great care of my babies and took the time to go over other issues one of my kitties might be facing. The cats seamlessly moves I you the new place and seemed so relieved after being treated. Anyway, I'm happy to report they're doing MUCH better. I hope to return - thanks y'all
