From Our Website

At Dogwood Veterinary Hospital and Laser Center, we have set the standard for quality veterinary care throughout Coweta County, including Newnan, Moreland, Sharpsburg, Whitesburg, Palmetto, Arnco Mills, Woodsmoke, and Raymond. Dogwood Veterinary Hospital and Laser Center provides the finest AAHA-accredited service available. Our investment in state-of-the-art equipment and best medical practices will ensure your pet will receive superior care. We provide a variety of services for pet care to ensure that your pet lives a long and healthy life.

Surgery at Dogwood Veterinary Hospital begins with a consultation with our Newnan veterinarians to determine the best procedure for your pet. We provide pre-anesthetic labwork to identify any metabolic abnormalities before your animal undergoes surgery. Our veterinary team administers pre-medications to keep your pet relaxed and allows us to use a lower dose of anesthetic gas. We provide pain management before, during, and after the procedure. Your pet will be prepared for surgery using aseptic technique, and the doctors follow sterile protocols during every procedure.

Spaying and neutering your pet provides wonderful health benefits and we recommend every dog and cat not being shown or bred be spayed or neutered. Spaying your female pet will prevent a dangerous, painful and expensive emergency called pyometra - an infection of the uterus. It will also eliminate the possibility of uterine cancer and unwanted pregnancy, and greatly reduce the chance of mammary cancer as your pet ages. Neutering your male pet will eliminate the chance of testicular cancer, and greatly reduce the probability of prostate cancer in older pets.

Our drop off service runs Monday through Friday dropping between 7am-730am and picking up late during lunch or in the afternoon before 430pm. This service is for annual, routine visits and sick visits. Ask our Client Care Representatives about a drop off appointment. We can even facetime you during the visit if you want to be present! The best of both worlds. Call (770) 253-3416 today!

Dogwood Veterinary Hospital advocates the best care and treatment for both preventative health and disease with the same dignity, compassion, and courtesy for our clients pets as we would our own. Dogwood Veterinary Hospital & Laser Center is excited to offer our clients Companion Laser Therapy. Relief and/or improvement is often noticed within hours depending on the condition and your pet's response.
