We have gone here for A few years. We changed vets when one of our pets became seriously Ill. We love the friendly staff and experienced vets. We live an hour away and it's well worth the drive.

Dodgeville Veterinary squeezed our dog in day of, within an hour, who had injured his paw/nail while we were in the area camping. They were extremely kind and helpful, and really fixed Moose up nicely with a little boot and lots of pain medication so he would be comfortable. I don't know what we would've done without them, it would've been a much different trip. So we're very thankful! Highly recommend :

They handled the passing of our Dog Addison. A beloved member of our family. I was able to stay with her the whole time. That meant so much to be able to say goodbye to one of the best friends I have ever had.

Simply the best - multiple times we've had issues with other vets that have been resolved by the people at Dodgeville and it's because they care about your pets well being as much as you do and it shows. Now we don't even think twice, worth a little bit of a drive! Thank you for all you do!

We started seeing Dr. Marcus August 2021, after our dog Kahlua suffered from ANNPE and physical therapy was recommended for treatment. Right away I was very impressed with how Dr. Marcus interacted with my dog. She absolutely loves coming to see him. We drive over an hour for her appointments, but it has been worth it. She wasn't able to use her hind legs and now she is able to enjoy life and run around again. We still have some work to do, but I am just so happy that she is able to be herself.

Thank you for your support and compassion. You have always treated us as partners in our pet's health rather than just a customer. It makes a great difference.

I had previously only used this business for grooming needs and saw a different vet. My 13.5yr old toy poodle started to lose his remaining teeth so I realized there was a problem and my vet doesn't do any dental work. They referred me to a vet further away then this business but they couldn't get me in for a little over a month, dental schedules far in advance.

I decided to have him seen by dodgeville vet for a checkup in the meantime to see what they thought of his mouth - turned out he had a significant infection in his mouth that needed dental surgery right away for extractions. They quoted me $820 for removal of 4 teeth and $1,031 for removal of 6 teeth. Thankfully I had a general ideal of the cost of the other vet from scheduling the original dental apt (I always ask cost so we are prepared ahead of time).

We left dodgeville vet at 4:30pm and called monfort veterinary services by 5pm with a desperate plea if they could get our poodle in sooner due to the significant mouth infection and loose teeth. They got him in the next morning, which i should mention all schools and many businesses were closed that day due to a ice storm, and they determined all remaining 9 teeth needed to be pulled due to the infection, condition, and how loose they were.

Our charge including pain meds and the optional blood work was $231! They said since we already purchased the antibiotic from dodgeville vet we could continue to use that so we didn't need to buy more. Everything went perfect, he is recovering perfectly and feeling so much better! Dodgeville vet's prices are astronomical and now I fully understand why my local vet didn't refer us to them disappointed and will not give them another dime, will have my dogs groomed elsewhere!

They did my labs for my dog for the Madison specialty clinic, and sent the results to Madison. It was way cheaper. When I had to put my dog down, over Laber Day Weekend, they were very Kind and friendly. They showed me my options of dog urine's and the colors and let me spend as much time with him, before I had to let him go. ( They did a few test that worked with the Madison specialty clinic, which was way cheaper than Madison.)
