Sorry to give low rating as this place has always been the best. The gal answering the phone is a big negative! I starting calling early Monday as my mini was dragging his right back leg. The gal said i will call you when i talk to a vet. No call!!! I called every 2 hrs up till noon same answer. It is now Tuesday 7-11-2023 and still no call back! I even called back to talk with Dr. Wenchell she said no vet's was there. I find that hard to believe. In the past I was always treated so well and there was always concern for my animals and was told load em up and we'll see you when you get here. This gal needs to go! rude and no concern for the animal or she would of done her job, It takes one like this to do damage to the business. The poor mini had a dislocated joint. Vet in Kingman Az is assisting.

They got us in and fixed up in a timely manner. Dr. Winchell was very thorough at explaining and showing me what he was doing throughout the procedures. Super reasonable fees, clean facility, great DVM's & staff.

I really will never be able to completely express my gratitude to the doctors and staff at DP. Of course I need to give a special shout out to Dr Moser, Dr. Winchell, and Dr Manship! Their hard work and absolute dedication to their patients does not go unnoticed by me. 5 stars are not enough. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

The vets are wonderful. We are lucky to have a fully equipped vet hospital with knowledgeable and experienced vets. Thank you for all you do in keeping our horses healthy!

I truly appreciate and respect the Vets and Vet Techs at Desert Pines. I have known all of them since they started working in Las Vegas, including Dr. Garth Lamb. However, since they were bought out by the corporation their customer service by the receptionists has dropped in quality. I have noticed the turnover with the receptionists has been quite high.

Before the corporation bought out Desert Pines, all the receptionists were there for years and knew everyone in the valley with horses, in including me. I am probably one of their oldest clients and every time I call with an animal issue the current receptionists act like I don't know anything about livestock or treat me like I am a first time horse owner.

I have been in business in this valley for 44 years (March 1, 1978), been an animal health tech with a local veterinarian for several years and I am tired of being treated like a first time horse owner. Other than that, I truly appreciate the Dr.'s and Tech's at Desert Pines Equine! Great care for all livestock!

Such an amazing Equine Center. They take very good care of the animals and have staff on hand to tend to the animals needs and medications throughout the night.

I cannot say enough good things about Desert Pines. Dr. Moser and their entire team of veterinarians, vet techs, and staff are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and honest. I trust them completely with the care of my three horses. It is such a relief to know that no matter what issue comes up day to day, I have a veterinarian I know will show my horses the care and compassion they deserve. Thank you so much for all you've done for me and my horses over the years. You are so appreciated.

I had an appointment with Dr. Combs for a lameness exam on two horses. After lameness exams were completed, we went over X-rays. Treatment was suggested, and x-rays were shared with our horse shoer. Dr. Combs took the time to size one of the horses with a set of Soft Rides. Thank you to the entire staff.

Everything! They always answer my questions. They take great care of my horse. Excellent floating teeth, extracting teeth. very friendly and knowledgeable.

Saved our beloved Connemara, was on deaths door and his Doctors kept us informed every step of the way. Very experienced veterinarians and staff. Really care about about their animal patients. Medically and surgically competent. Sir Connor would not have made it without their expertise. Worth the drive from Mesquite! Thank you!!!

I’ve been living in Vegas for just about a year. I was recommended here just after I got here. I’ve worked exclusively with Dr. Manship each time I’ve come. I love the relaxed atmosphere, and welcoming attitude everyone has despite Covid and all it’s complications. Everyone helps and there is a real collaboration between the staff that is comforting to see.

I know that I’m not just getting the help of a single vet, but the knowledge of all of them. The office staff are also willing to help in extra ways. I asked for a list of insurance companies they work with and received a list with phone numbers. Highly recommended.

I've owned horses for 42 years here in Nevada and always used Desert Pines even before they became Desert Pines! The vets are the best! My two appaloosa boys love Dr Moser and her team. I have complete trust and faith that anytime I have problems, Dr Moser will find a solution because she always has done so! Also kudos to the clinic staff, they are on top of anything you need! Heather is so helpful and knowledgeable and she gets you a vet asap when there is an emergency.

And Stephanie who handles the pharmacy is a godsend! She has helped me so many times with orders and specific needs for my one horse Bear that I cannot thank her enough. I owe my horses health and happiness thanks to this clinic, the vets and staff. You all ROCK, THANK YOU from me and the boys!
