Called to set up an appointment to get a hedgehog's nails trimmed, and Katelyn who answered the phone was very rude and sounded as if she didn't want to be bothered with such a small request. Very unhelpful and condescending when trying to find a time that would work with a busy work schedule and during office hours of their exotic vet. Customer service was almost non-existent.

If that's the first impression of a business, I can't imagine what the service is actually like. Let her know that she didn't have to be so rude, and that I would find someplace else for this to which she replied "okay thank you".

The receptionist over the phone is very personable and have a great drop off pick up service for pets, but make sure you ask what the charge is for everything they mention. The fixing of my gerbils teeth was supposed be $40, but expanded to $120 after asking if it included a check up or anything. I attributed this to a communication error, but she also upsold nail clipping on the gerbil as if it was part of the package, not only to be charged for it, but the the poor gerbil's claws, by all appearances, were bloody and he clearly in pain when I got home.

I expect the vet to do it safely or not at all. He won't grab on to anything, not even sunflower seeds, and for those that have a gerbil know that's pretty crazy. I will be demanding for a refund on this visit since, while they hopefully fixed the teeth (I can't verify this at the moment), they mangled his hands and feet with an unnecessary procedure sold to be safe to me, who knows if I can trust them for the test of the visit. I do not recommend this place for gerbils due to quality of service and shady business practice.

PSA: On 10/2/2021, when calling to get a non-clinical (drive-thru) appointment for a Cytopoint shot we were informed that the operating hours as defined are "not actual" and that we would not be able to get appointments past 4:00 PM on weekdays (12:00 on Fridays) or at anytime on a Saturday since Saturdays were being reserved for "emergencies only". Unfortunately, as working adults, we are going to have to switch veterinary services. Disappointing, to say the least.

Great vet and boarding experience. Last minute trip out of town and only available option. Made sure vaccinations were up to date, loved on my fluff nuggets when I couldn't.

Dr. Osgood and her staff are amazing! All of them are just top notch professionals. We have been taking all of our pets (exotics, ie. bunnies and birds) there since 2001. They have walked with us through happy check-ups, nail trims, illness and sadly, the loss of our beloved pets over the years. Do not hesitate to trust them with your feathered or furry family members.

I have a lizard who was having some issues that lasted a long time after they were diagnosed. The staff are friendly and you can tell they truly care about you and your pets well being they call you to check up on your animal and they provide good services and recamendasions for care that will work for your situation could not be happier with this vet.

Dr. Osgood is absolutely wonderful and you can tell she loves what she does. I am not a fan of them taking my dog out of the exam room and into the back for routine checkups. And there is one vet tech that is often pushy. Even after politely declining certain tests/labs and stating why I don't want something at this time, she continues her loud sales pitch.

My experience with this clinic was very poor. I found it necessary to transfer from a wonderful clinic due to my personal health issues and needing a vet closer to home. My first appointment went ok, as they knew I was looking for a new clinic and everyone was going out of their way to be attentive and nice. Subsequent appointments i waited a long time to be seen for something as simple as a routine vaccine.

The second appt. I waited 1 hour to be seen, the third I watied 45 minutes - and the most recent I waited 45 minutes only to be told the vet was too busy to see me and I needed to reschedule and come back 'tomorrow.' There was no consideration for my schedule and I was left with the impression in all three visits that they really don't have the time for me or my pets.

They did offer to take my pet in the back and examine them while also monitoring a surgery patient. Personally this is not acceptable to me. I want a vet that can take the time to focus on my pet during the appointment time I have scheduled and am paying for. I want to be present during exams and simple procedures (such as a vaccine). I want to be able to see and know what is taking place and how thorough the exam is.

My presence also makes the visit less stressful for my pets. This does not seem to be their preferred way to handle their patients or work with their clients. For me, this clinic does not work and I will be searching for a vet that is more attentive to my pets.

Today was my first visit to this clinic as our family is possibly relocating to the Delafield area. My first impression walking in was that it's nice, spacious and very welcoming with 2 large fish tanks and a bird room that greeted you off the front door. Dr. Osgood and her hospital manager Sarah were very kind during our appointment, even as they were dealing with a critical case that came in shortly before I arrived. I'm quite pleased with my experience and do plan on returning again for our veterinary needs.

Great clinic! Dr. Osgood is very knowledgeable and cares about each pet and family; I trust her with my pets completely. Jessica at the front desk is probably the sweetest receptionist I've ever met, and really knows her stuff. There is a reason this place is so busy and you have to book routine appointments in advance. Exceptional, wouldn't go anywhere else.
