My dog had ACL surgery here in 2021. It is now a year later and my dog has recovered 100%. He is like a new dog. Thankful that they were able to treat my dog and I recommend this place.

Our own vet quoted a deep dental cleaning ranging anywhere between $700 to $1000. My Bichon REALLY needed this procedure so I looked around and found Deer Park on the internet. I booked an appointment almost 6 months in advance, because they are so busy. What a WONDERFUL experience! They did a phenomenal job at a price we could afford. They checked up on us the next day. They are very professional and truly care about the animals! Thank you

I called the office on a Monday morning and the were able to do the surgery by Wednesday. I was able to save a tremendous amount of money and they took great care of my dog(juicy). I will refer them to everyone.

Dr. Kelcourse and the staff at Deer Park Animal Hospital are awesome! I called in with an emergency surgery my dog was in need of and they were able to get her in within 2 hours. The staff were so nice and helpful and Dr. Kelcourse explained everything kindly to us. The prices are very reasonable too which helped to lower our stress in this urgent situation. I highly recommend this facility to any pet in need.

Grateful for our dogs toe amputation. Very organized front office and staff. They communicated thru the process. Dr. was helpful and most of all the surgery was a huge success. Highly recommend.

I found this place on a Facebook post in the Hampton Roads Lost and found group. If not I would have had to wait much longer and spent more money on our dog. She had a tumor in a sensitive area. I called and the next day, no joke, she had the surgery. The staff is caring, professional, and helpful. The vet is amazing. Explained everything in detail and took extra time to carefully remove that tumor. He was personable and caring and I just can't thank him and his staff enough. It was so worth the drive. It is easy to find too.

Took care of my 13 year-old Beagle, who ended up needing a tooth extracted for every year he's been alive (yes, 13 teeth extracted at once). Took him in in the morning and had him back around 1PM. Three days later and he is doing great! Will definitely recommend for anyone needing future dental work for their pets. Thank you Dr. Jones and staff!

Highly recommend this place! Wish I knew about them sooner! My almost 10 year old pomeranian had some pretty rotton teeth. He went in for a cleaning and some extractions ( poor little guy). However they did wonderful! He was almost back to his normal self the next day! They gave him some pain meds which seemed to help really well Thank yall so much! He's seems to be so much happier now that his teeth don't seem to be bothering him! :)

My dog has been seen here twice. Unfortunately, my 4 year old dog needed cruciate ligament surgery in February 2019 and then again in March 2020 on his other knee. I dropped him off in the morning and was able to pick him up a couple of hours later after surgery. The process was very easy. They are very professional and very low cost compared to what my regular vet wanted to charge me. My dog hasn't had any issues with either surgery. You can tell they genuinely care about your pet(s). I 100% recommend them!

I add an appointment 4 my dachshund Mecca to have her teeth cleaned. The appointment turned out better than I had ever expected. The staff was very friendly they answered all my questions and they called me several times to make sure Mecca was doing well. Also they finished appointment time early. I found a new dentist for my Mecca I'm so excited and pleased thank you thank you thank you so much.

My 9 year old King Charles cavalier is 3 days out from her dental procedure at Deerpark Animal Hospital. She's doing awesome. I had a vet in Norfolk tell me that Roxie needed this surgery because her teeth weren't doing so hot and after being able to see inside her mouth myself, I was so afraid that a surgery like this would break the bank. My vet and I were under the impression that multiple teeth in her mouth needed to be extracted so I searched endlessly and continued to weigh my options.

Then I stumbled upon Deerpark and learned of their PADS program. Their clinic seems fully booked often so my appointment was created nearly a month and a half out but believe me, it was worth it. Their process was easy to follow. At first I thought that it was totally a scam or something because something this awesome and cheap as far as canine dental procedures go seemed too good to be true. Nope.

And Roxie's mouth wasn't as bad as I initially thought it was either. She only lost two teeth and had a cleaning done. Roxie's also a really anxiety ridden dog so cutting her nails is next to impossible. But Deerpark did that for me as well and with her medication and her procedure, I only paid $300. Im a server at a sports bar and every penny counts.

I'm not guaranteed a paycheck as I live off of a tipped income. Saving up all this money for her surgery was at the top of my mind for months and when I found out it was only gonna cost me $300, I was ecstatic. I even received a follow up call the next day from the vet so that they could check in on how she's doing. I recommend this vet to anyone and everyone.

I was so afraid that I'd have to choose between financial needs or Roxie's health but with Deerpark, I didn't have to and I'm going to be forever grateful for this establishment. Thank you so much for everything you've done for us.

This was definitely one of the most smoothest and non-stressful appointments I have ever made for my little Yorkiepoo, Momo. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

They fill up with bookings because they're basically amazing and don't charge all your body parts for a deep teeth cleaning and extraction (or two...or more...) for your pet.

Check-in is between 7-7:30am, and we arrived around 650am and waiting in the car until they opened (which they opened a couple minutes early).

I was second to be there and expected to wait a while honestly, probably due to PTSD from being in any type of hospital, even a vet. After filling out 2 sheets of paper to get our information, to include a paper saying I understood what the procedure would entail. READ THROUGH IT! After turning in the paper, one of the nice ladies took my pup to the back and I was told I would be given a call as soon as Momo started waking up from the anesthesia.

I got a call around 9:30am and was told she'd be ready to go by 10am. I got there at 10 and vet dentist gave me some info on what had been done to Momo's teeth. She was super nice and took the time to talk me through each medication and answered any questions I had. THAT is what matters to me. That I don't feel like my pets and I are just another paycheck or another number in line. Thank you Deer Park Animal Hospital! You guys are the best!

I would highly recommend this animal hospital if you need any work done to your animals. The doctor there was extremely considerate even called me to let me know that there were other options for my dog who needed to have her I removed. The staff was extremely kind and I appreciate them very very much

Thank you, Dr. Savell, for calling me to give me your opinion about my toy poodle, Sophie. I was told by another Veterinarian to have surgery performed on Sophie's back legs. You looked at her x-rays and advised me to wait to see if it would maybe heal on its own. I am so happy that I listened to you. Sophie is doing much better now. It is so refreshing to know that there are doctors like you who go the extra mile to help our beloved pets. Thank you for your care, compassion and kindness.

This is the BEST Veterinary Clinic I have ever used. I've had pets for over 30 years. Where have they been all my pets lives. I am so happy I found them. The procedure my dog needed was costed out as high as $1600 and was I about to pay it when God lead me to Deer Park Animal Hospital. I paid a 3rd and received compassionate care. Dr. Savell is a true professional in his area of expertise. I highly recommend them and I am changing Vets after 30 years.
