Dr. Jordan grew up in Piedmont, SC and has loved veterinary medicine since she was in elementary school. She attended Clemson University before going to the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. At Crossroads Animal Hospital, we have dedicated staff who work hard to ensure your pet gets the best care possible! Our diverse team consists of full time and part time veterinary technicians, kennel assistants, and interns. Not only are staff trained when they are hired, but we also encourage them to participate in vet conferences (to learn the best and most up to date practices), and Lunch and Learn (where representatives come and teach about products, equipment, programs, etc.).We invest in our staff and their training so you and your pets can have a positive experience at our clinic.
We highly recommend these people and businesses because Dr. Jordan has seen the quality of their work. A family member went here to get their puppy looked at. Horrible experience, vet double charged for a fecal and gave unauthorized heartworm medication. Dr Jordan is also openly hateful against ear cropping, even when done professionally as well as a breedist. Insinuated that the owner had done it at home regardless of paperwork from an AKC breeder and vet record of the procedure. Tried to take posts out of the ears and started to remove stitches. A vet can have personal bias but it is their job to provide care regardless of their views. Also charged for unauthorized antibiotics. The vet refused to come out to the lobby to speak to the owner and stated "exam rooms are full" there are two exam rooms at best. This clinic is also not very large. Huge 🚩🚩 if a vet is not willing to talk face to face with a client get out of there. There were no other clients at the time. It's understandable that the pet was a work in as a drop off but when no other clients are there? The receptionist Ann was very rude and unprofessional and is the vet's mother. Overall very unprofessional experience and not worth the time or money. Not BBB accredited and likely not AAHA accredited. You can get better care for much less at box store vets. Sad to see a private vet act this way. Given prior reviews to this place it doesn't surprise me. Likely this newest review will get deleted by the office as they can't take a public review. Do yourself a favor and do not take your animals here.

They cleaned my dogs teeth, pulled a loose baby tooth and gave him antibiotics for an amazing price. My dog was so much happier and i didnt have to take a loan out. Great service!

Do not take your animals here. I have several calls into the head vet of the facility. she refuses to return calls. Had the WORST experience here. made an appointment. have the confirmation in my email. When I showed up they said I had no appointment. drove 3 hours to get there. they asked to see the confirmation email and when I tried to show it to them they refused to look at it.then called the police on me because I wouldn't leave.

I told them I want to be reimbursed for gas to drive there. there refusing this simple request due to THEIR mistake. then vetnof the facility Kathy Jordan gets her flunkies to call back and then hangs up on you. wasn't yelling or cursing. just hang up when they tell you, your not getting anything, then hangs up, , look at the other terrible reviews. There was NO other clients there when I was there and NOW I know WHY!

The vet with give you overpriced medicine and creams that are literally found on the shelf at pet smart. I took my dog in because her eye was running a lot and she tried to give me stuff that was $600 plus the visit! I found the same thing at petsmart for $30. Anne, the front desk, is the vet's mom so that's why she's still employed even with her attitude.

She never wants to do any work. Every time I call, it's such an inconvenience. Even sending an email takes too much time for her apparently. You can find better care and better customer service elsewhere.

All of the terrible reviews on here, particularly the ones about Anne, are absolutely accurate. I am amazed that after receiving years of terrible reviews, this woman is still employed. I have never communicated, or should I say attempted to communicate, with someone so rude and unprofessional. I understand and support wanting a vaccine record of all the animals in the home.

However after we supplied that, she demanded a full medical history of all pets, including our senior indoor cat who has never had a single health problem in his life, simply to find any reason to insult/imply we are bad parents. After reading other reviews about this happening, my boyfriend and I decided to take our business to a different shelter.

Who could seriously justify denying a dog adoption over not having your cats teeth regularly cleaned. That is completely unreasonable. My biggest complaint is Anne HID the fact that the dog we were inquiring about has heart worms, even after I sent her multiple emails asking about it. That is definitely something that should be made public on the listing, not something that should be hidden.

It is a shame that this woman's bitter and terrible attitude has prevented so many wonderful animals from finding safe and loving homes. Don't waste your time and emotions on this place. There are plenty of shelters out there that are cheaper, more honest, and more sincere.

I absolutely love crossroads animal hospital. I had a sick rabbit, called a hundred places and they either didn't see rabbits or had a week wait list to see the exotic vet. Crossroads got me in within two hours of me calling. Dr. Jordan was very knowledge and explained everything so well to me. Anne is also amazing. They are so compassionate and caring!

Very kind and caring. Always explains in detail and helps you make the best decision for your pet. You can tell Dr. Jordan truly loves animals and has their beat interest at heart as well as being very kind and considerate to the owners. It's hard to find that in a vet these days. They are a blessing. So thankful we found them

I have both had my pet come here and previously worked here. Dr. Jordan is a very smart and meticulous vet with a big heart. I would 100% recommend her as a vet. She was always thoughtful with patients and ensured they got the best care possible.

I fostered a dog for 3 months and then decided to adopt her. They were really helpful letting me know the process and I adopted her within the week. It was a quick process where I signed the papers and got her vaccinations done. Some say it's difficult to adopt from here, but it might be easier to start fostering the animal and then adopting it. The transition is easier and you'll develop a good relationship with the hospital.

They're still my dog's vet and they're really helpful. They've helped me with some of her anxiety issues. They're very informative, will explain the costs of everything and overall want the best for your pet

My dog was 14.5 years old and really sick when we took her there. I fully expected them to put her down, she couldn't walk or eat at all. They suggested test and cures that just kept going up in price and we kept paying thinking she was improving based on their feedback. We finally got suspicious and ask to see her but they wouldn't allow that but they told us to pick her up.

When we arrived she was in worse shape than when we took her. Now she had appeared to have also had a stroke which was later confirmed. We ended up taking her to a different vet that after an hour did the most human thing and put her down after almost a week of suffering at this place.

Every time I have taken one of my dogs to see Dr Jordan I have always been treated with respect. She is amazing with my fur babies and she takes the time to explain things to me as she is examining them or if I have any questions. She handles them so gently and you can tell she truly cares. The staff are so nice I have always been greeted with a smile. I definitely recommend anyone to take there animals to her.

I had an old mix breed.15+ yrs old. They said he was healty just an old man. Got meds n shots up to date. When i couldn't deal with his suffering any more and called them about putting him to sleep.$300. Are you kidding me? I took him somewhere else and the vet told me he should have been let go mths ago because he was eat up with lymphoma. So thank you Crossroad for taking our money and allowing my old man to suffer when he didn't have to. He is at rest now and I didn't have to pay $300 to do it.

After much anticipation on inquiring about a puppy named Bowie I was sadly disappointed with the outcome. The representative Ann was extremely rude and not helpful. I called to inquire about if the dog was still available. I was told yes. I told her I had not owned a dog in many years. I told her I used to have a cat 5 years ago that I no longer have that went to a good home with a family member.

I even faxed the old medical history over of when I owned her. She is alive and well. Every time I inquired about something I was placed on hold. I was placed on hold the moment she picked up from the first time I called. This is very poor customer service. I was also told I would receive follow up on when I could arrange to come meet the dog. I was never given answers and told I would be called back but never did.

In the end I was told I could not adopt an animal from their shelter for not having experience with a dog. I am outraged on how the woman Ann has a job when she has such a poor attitude and lack of intelligence. I wish you luck with your business. Animals suffer due to you not willing to do your job and simply not caring and being lazy. The animals are the ones that suffer.

Instead of trying to adopt a rescue people are discouraged by difficult people like Ann with poor judgment and attitude. Many people I have mentioned this to have told me they have heard similar complaints. As you can see the google reviews show a pattern. I am forced to search for another option from a different organization.

I adopted my kitten Ezra from an animal shelter in Georgia. Come to find out he has herpes virus. The vet has worked hard to eliminate the virus & continues to do check up on Ezra. I am so grateful that I found this veterinarian. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

I was trying to adopt a puppy from them and they denied my first application because my two indoor cats apparently needed more than their rabies vaccine. I asked what other vaccines they needed and the response was "whatever your vet tells you but the feline distemper one is one I know they need". Okay, my vet said rabies was all they needed but they gave them the one more vaccine (which cost $140).

Next day, I call and make sure they got the file from my vet and she told me they wouldn't approve me until I get my cats teeth cleaned because the vet recommended I do that and I "need to make sure I'm taking care of my other pets before I take on a puppy." I'm sorry, I've had cats my entire life and never once was I denied from adopting another pet because my cat need his teeth cleaned. You'll never adopt any of your animals out if you keep up these unnecessary standards.

I have been taking my pets to Crossroads for 10 years. I am always impressed with the level of professionalism and care that the staff gives to both pets and me. They are always very thorough in their examinations, they do a great job explaining the available treatment options, and I never feel pressured to get treatments that are out of my budget or that I don't think are best.

My pets may not love going to the vet, but I know they will always be treated kindly and gently by the staff. Over the years, my pets have had several emergencies (always on nights and weekends!), and Dr. Jordan was always available immediately to make sure they got the care they needed right away. I couldn't ask for more.

I took my very scared baby to them. The staff and doctor were kind, patient and took the time to make sure Ajax was cared for with his special needs. I recommend this vet to anyone in the area. I was very comfortable with the facility and the care he received.

I love Crossroads Animal Hospital and Dr. Gupta. Dr. Hilsen.and all the staff. This past Friday my Lily (Shitzu Pomeranian)had diarrhea. I called their answering service and they put me through to Dr. Gupta. He was so helpful. He told me to feed her rice with chicken or hamburger (bland). The diarrhea stopped and by Monday late afternoon she had a normal bowel movement. They have been so good to Lily and myself. God bless them all

We live in Rock Hill, SC, but have family in Westminster. After taking our Great Dane to our local vet we felt it was best to make arrangements to put him down and wanted to lay him to rest on the family farm in Westminster. Crossroads Animal Hospital was located the closest to the farm, so we called out to them to inquire about their services. They were very polite and helpful over the phone and gave us a great deal of information.

They contacted our local vet to obtain Duke's medical records and offered additional ideas and information based on his most recent blood work. We did end up putting Duke down and I have to say that as hard as this whole situation was, everyone on the staff there did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable and at peace. The procedure was so peaceful as Duke slipped away over the 'Rainbow Bridge'.

If we lived closer, I feel sure that we would take our other dogs there, and would recommend them to anyone. We so appreciated how caring and friendly everyone was. They helped to make a horrible situation a little bit more comfortable, and we so appreciated that.
