Critterfixer's Mobile Veterinary Care is here to provide Acupuncture and Cold Laser therapy for your pets in the comfort of your home. The sessions are grouped close together in the beginning (3 sessions in a 2 week period) and slowly taper down. For acute issues that heal/resolve, it may take only 3-5 sessions, but for chronic conditions, patients are typically seen every 4-6 weeks long term as a maintenance.Borders of Service area are: South of Rt 66, East of the Fairfax Co parkway, and north of Lorton.
Services
Acupuncture has been shown to be beneficial for neck and back pain, disk disease, heart disease, gastrointestinal and kidney disease, joint disease and more. It involves the insertion of tiny, sterile needles into specific locations on the body and is usually well tolerated by my patients. The needles can trigger a biochemical/physiological response that causes the release of many neurochemicals, cytokines, and endorphins.

Dr Gerth was the best thing that could have happened for our dog Solstice, who had seizures, fear based aggression and several other health problems. After 5 trainers, a neurologist, and tons of frustration it was Dr Gerth that figured out right away that Solstice had fear-based aggression, and along with managing her seizures Dr Gerth helped us to understand and work with her and we got to enjoy our most amazing, loving and understanding dog. With Dr Gerth's above and beyond care we had Solstice with us for 16 years and we are so grateful!

Dr Gerth provided accupuncture treatments to our senior dog for about one year prior to us moving from the area. Our only regret is not finding Critterfixers and Dr Gerth sooner. We were very impressed by both her knowledge and especially her willingness to share it with us. The result was a feeling of collaboration in our dog's therapy. There's no doubt that Kali got every benefit possible from the accupunture. We would enthusiastically recommend Critterfixers and Dr Gerth for anyone willing to give their pet the best.

I have had Dr Girth taking the best care of my now 12 year old domestic cat Daisy. Daisy has been overweight since she was three years old, and I have struggled to help her lose the weight. She has stayed at 16 lbs for last five years, so happy for that. I would hate to have to force Daisy in the car and visit a vet if it's just my overly worried attitude for her health. I would recommend Dr Girth to anyone and everyone. She speaks "animal" fluently.

Dr Gerth is the best.we have 2 golden retrievers one is a rescue that is afraid of everything and very difficult to get into the car let alone go to a strange place and the other is a puppy that wants to run and chase everything. Dr Gerth is knowledgeable, caring and our goldens don't want her to leave.
