I brought my lab in to get a refill on his meds as he was 11 and getting a little slow in getting up. Other than getting stiffened up he was happy and in great shape. They told me he was diabetic and 6 days later he was dead. My heart broke to lose my family member. I read up on it and apparently when a dog is under stress, like trapped in an exam room for an hour and a half, their blood sugar levels rise and may show a false positive. I didn't know that at the time but they should have! In short they killed my dog and I will never take another animal of mine there again!

Took one of my furry children here for the first time and was amazed. Most places we've tried in the past end up costing a lot of money for what seems like routine checkups and occasional medications. The vet and or vets assistant called us twice in the following 2 weeks after the visit just to make sure my boy was doing better and that he his! We found our new place for the hairy kids!

Awesome and very attentive staff. They are all about the well being of your animal. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. They accomplished something never to be done at home (email trimming) with no issues. Wonderful staff from the front to the back.

Crater animal clinic is professionally staffed from the front office to the Veterinarians. They always inform and try to assist with current issues and issues in the foreseeable future. I like taking my dog to this vet. They are friendly, helpful, and informative. I like that I wasn't given a guilt trip because my dog had fleas, instead he was given a topical treatment and I was given info on flea treatments. I was also given the option to come inside with a mask on or stay in my car. Everyone there was nice and they clearly love pets.

Amazing Drs and technicians! They really care about my dog Bear and are very professional and kind to him. They gave me price breakdown and choices to his treatment plan and made sure to verify that I was okay with his procedures and the costs. You guys are amazing thank you for caring for my pet!

My 13 yrs old dog was having disturbing symptoms and since Crater Clinic had his records I called and asked to bring him in. I was told no appointments available for a week but then they could only give me a work in appointment. I made time for 2:20 pm on April 20. I showed up at 2:10, parked in a parking lot with no shade or cover with a sick dog and called in as I was directed to do.

I was told there would be a wait as I was a work in appointment. After an hour I could tell my dog was in distress and recalled asking for an approximate time wait and was told if I didn't want to wait, i could try somewhere else. I then called two other vet clinics and they had nothing available, so I continued to wait. I again called into the office and was adamant that my pet was in need of immediate attention.

I was told they would have a doctor call me back, which he did. I explained the problems and he had a vet tech come to the car and carry my dog in. He was examined and when the doctor called me on my cell phone ( I was still in the car) we decided that the best decision was to not let him suffer as he was a very sick 13 yr old dog. This was approximately 4:00 pm, sitting in a very hot parking lot with a dying dog No canopy's or shade for the 8 or so others in the same position waiting.

This is inhumane. An animal who is desperately Ill should have been taken into the hospital and put in a kennel in cool conditions until a doctor could be available. I lost my best friend that day and no one gave a damn.

Best Veterinarian Clinic we have ever been to. Caring knowledgeable staff. Veterinarians that take the time to explain things to you. So happy we found Crater Animal Hospital for our fur babies.

Dr. Julie handles my chickens, ducks, goats and exotics. She is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy. She works well with our SANCTUARY animals and I do recommend her.

We have always had excellent and amazingly compassionate care for all of our animals. Dr. Madigan especially has been truly amazing with us through some very difficult times. I can't recommend Crater Animal Clinic enough. They are simply amazing.

Good care of my 19 dogs. I live on a farm and am a breeder. I do not take my dogs just anywhere. They are respectful, with manners and do all they can for me and my dogs.

I took my cat Stella there to get fixed and to get all the necessary things done. Going there was the best choice I made for her since she’s never been to a vet before. Everyone there is so nice, helpful and so welling to answer all my questions! I wouldn’t take her anywhere else! Im very happy with it.

She went the extra mile for our beloved lab and for our grieving family. From the beginning of diagnosis Dr Julie explained what to expect from the cancer that our beloved Brody was fighting.

Including explaining to us what to look for when our precious baby was ready to walk over the rainbow bridge. I am so thankful for her empathy and compassion.
