This is a fantastic clinic with a. Very caring staff. The doctor was very knowledgeable and really took time to give a thorough evaluation and talk through the issues we were experiencing. It's really nice to have such a caring place to bring your baby.

This clinic is the best in the city for handling fear agressive/ anxious cats. Our boy Danny needed general anesthetics just for a physical and vaccines every year.he was an absolute terror! He stays completely calm here, no sedatives required. We are loyal customers, this is the only clinic that will see our three cats from now on.

I had my first visit with my baby Cora today and it couldn't have gone better! Dr Matthew Filip was very thorough and explained everything wonderfully. Strongly recommend this vet clinic.

I just called to see if there were any available appointments today and the receptionist is extremely RUDE. I didn't even ask about Monday because I will never go to a vet with such rude employees.

Cannot recommended this place enough. I saw a review that they couldn't do routine shots? There has to be more to the story there. This vet has been SO helpful. I really love how they specialize in cats and they were able to identify an allergy issues that several other vets had not been able to figure out. They have helped me in emergencies and for routine care. Love this vet and will continue to come here.

Very good vet for my cat. They saved her life after a failed visit with another cat vet. Not the closet cat vet to my home, it I think it is well worth the longer drive.

My experience with this clinic has always been positive. The staff are professional, helpful and polite. The curbside visits during the pandemic have been very well managed and organized. Dr. Phillip is the primary vet for my cat. He is very articulate in explaining everything clearly and answering all your questions. Definitely recommend this clinic to cat owners.

They are the most knowledgeable and caring vets I've ever taken my loved ones, my pets for treatment. I took my really sick cat to them earlier this year and they helped tremendously in bringing him back to health. Other vets let me down but they gave me the answers I needed. I also recently brought my older Persian to them to get put to sleep. They were so kind and attentive.

They even mailed me a sweet card offering condolences. If you have a cat that's family to you like my cats are take them here, they give great prices for how much knowledge and care you're getting, for the quality of care they offer they should be charging a lot more.

I've been taking my cats to CVC for some time now and I recommend them to every one I know with cats. I have dealt with each vet. They're all so kind and knowledgeable. Each one takes their time to explain everything and answer any questions I had. Dr. Christensen took the time to help me out when I had to make the decision to put down my first cat and I will always appreciate the compassion she showed during such a difficult time.

The receptionist, Gabrielle is very courteous and provides excellent service. The vet techs are always kind and gentle with all of my kitties. I have zero complaints about my experience at CVC.

Dr. Filip is amazing. He worked with my elderly cat through her many issues, including UTI and hyperthyroidism. He also listens to everything you have to say about your cat and truly describes his approach to medical problems thoroughly. On top of that they answered all of my questions/concerns over the phone. He and his techs truly care about your cats health, finding affordable care, and just overall helping with education with no judgment!

Professional. Since cats are all they do, I feel they may have a better focus on my cat's needs.

My cats have been going to the Cat Vet since the early 90s. I love how they are with them, gentle and sweet. In 2016 we moved to Livingston, TX and started taking Quincy, my latest cat, to a local vet. It was a totally different experience and I was appalled that they gassed him to get some blood. During the entire exam, I was not allowed to touch him. Needless to say, I make the trip to Houston for Quincy to see Dr. Filip every three months. I love how The Cat Vet treats me and Quincy! 5* to their team!

I could not recommend this practice enough after the incredible experience we had as they helped us manage the end of life stage. Responsive, helpful, reasonable, compassionate, flexible. Worst place and will never take my cat back. The can't give a cat routine shots so suggest sedation. Sorry took him to another vet that had no issues. Then they didn't get all records requested and won't refill the prescription that this clinic prescribed. Totally unacceptable and malpractice.

Four years later and I am still a humongous fan of this place. DR TIBBS IS AHH-MAZING! So kind, actually listens to you and takes her time, and is so patient with all of your helicopter mom questions. Always leave feeling very impressed and cared for at this gem of a vet! 10 out of 10.

Today was my first time visiting this clinic, and I cannot believe how personal my visit felt, even from the parking lot during this odd COVID-19 time. I got personal calls from both the vet tech and veterinarian, neither of which felt rushed and were pleasant, informative, and thorough. I am so glad we chose this place! I would highly recommend this clinic to any cat owner.

I've been absolutely amazed with the level of care my foster cats have been receiving here. You all are so kind on the phone and the doctors are quick to get back to you and thoroughly explain everything. that's going to happen. I will keep coming back! I found the cat vet clinic from a reference from my sister who is a dog trainer at Petsmart nearby. I took my cat there for urinary issues. I have never been inside the clinic as they have been taking precautions to keep everyone safe, but I can say that the procedure they have for dropping off your cat and picking up your cat right now with COVID-19 going on is amazing. Dr. Philip has been my vet - we have gone 3 times now- and he has gone above and beyond to call me and explain things in a manner that makes sense to a non-vet!

He gave me tips on how to make my cat more comfortable at home and I felt like he was/is genuinely interested in my cat's well-being. Not trying to scam you into unecessary procedures or added items. Thank you, Cat Vet Clinic team! You've definitely got a new patient for life.

I was referred to The Cat Vet Clinic by the employees at Catnip Inn. Unfortunately, my kitten Biscuits (adopted two months ago) was not progressing properly. The staff and vets at Cat Vet Clinic took an extended amount of time on our first visit to explain the possibilities and prognosis. They kept Biscuits for more tests and called me everyday with updates spending an incredible amount of time to give me detailed answers. Unfortunately, Biscuits was diagnosed with a neurological disorder and a sad prognosis.

We had to make a tough decision to allow him to pass with peace and dignity. Cat Vet Clinic made this sad process easy, respectful, and loving. I can't say how grateful I am to the staff and vets. Note: Biscuits stayed for three nights after his first visit, was given multiple medications. Including this and the other "passing" costs; the entire bill was EXTREMELY reasonable. I have never been to a vet that gave me such a detailed bill and explained why certain costs were what they were. I never felt that I was being taken advantage of.

Update 9/29/19: Now at least 9 years - Today I needed to put my very sick cat Sweetie to sleep forever. Medical term euthanized. My first and only pet as an adult. Sweetie was my companion for 16 years. The process Dr Christensen carefully led Sweetie and I through was so compassionate and personal. The extreme measures of comfort for Sweetie and I were remarkable and made a huge difference to me.

You and your pet cat will receive the absolute best medical and personal care from from Dr. C and the clinic. The vet techs and office staff are highly skilled and consistently provide friendly, professional service. Dr. Christensen is an amazing veterinarian! I have used her for over 7 years i think. My cat Sweetie has become a senior cat with her.

She ask questions, listens well, returns phone calls and provides very thorough exams and care! Her team is top-notch including the vet techs and office staff. There are two other vets there that have been there a long time as well.

I have been coming to the Cat Vet clinic for years and have had such positive experiences time after time. When one of my cats passed away last year, their bedside manner was phenomenal. I had appointments with both Dr. Christensen and Dr. Wilkens during that time, and they were incredibly compassionate and understanding of all the emotions that you go through when you are losing one of your furry family members.

In fact, after my cat had passed away, I was telling a friend who has two cats what a wonderful experience I had with the Cat Vet Clinic when my cat was nearing the end of his life (and throughout his life), and we ended up discovering we both take our cats here. She starting suspecting that we had the same vet while I was telling her my story because she has also had such amazing experiences with Dr. Christensen as well. Also, as other reviewers have noted, their lobby looks and smells clean and the receptionists are helpful, kind, and informative. Definitely recommend!

Dr Christensen and all the staff here are amazing! They are so patient and thorough. We will forever be patients here and I would recommend them to anyone that has a cat. Thank you for taking such great care of Disco Jack!

I absolutely love this veterinary clinic. My cat is very skittish and the fact that there is no dogs to frighten her is amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind as well.

I trust my cats' health to them only. I have used each vet there and they are all great. The staff is also wonderful! In addition, they are open on the weekends! I've been able to avoid emergency vets on the weekend as a result.

Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and caring staff - from the reception desk to the exam room to the lab. Great for cats who don't like dogs, since this is a "cat only" clinic. Highly recommend!

Our little girl wasn't feeling well. While other clinics were closed, this was open on Sunday. They were great not overpriced and best of specialize in felines.

Amazing & personable staff! I hesitated leaving my previous cat vet on the other side of town because they were wonderful too. However, since coming to this clinic I've met all but one of the veterinarians and each one is so kind, caring and knowledgable of my cats needs. Two of my cats have chronic issues and every time I come in no matter which vet I see, they have taken the time to listen to my concerns, put me at total ease and find solutions.

An amazing group of vets and staff! We had to take are little cat, muffin, in and she was started on some meds. on a relocation to Mississippi we lost the meds, and no vet was able to see her quickly in Mississippi. I called the cat clinic and they were so kind to represcribe the meds for muffin. Hands down this group was the one we trusted with the care of our muffin who means the world to us. Thank you again cat clinic!

Wonderful service, kitty got a little fever and doc took care of her right away despite being a walk in client! The staff is friendly and easy to talk to and very informative. They are funny and make you feel relaxed and give you a run down of some of their feline residence! I forgot the cats names lol but the Siamese boy has a nice background story and he's just so special and adorbs! He's so big and cuddly and just love able.

The fee for the consultation, examination, and 3 medications was around $120. The parking is a bit iffy and almost backed up into a traffic sign lol but there is available parking on side of street.

Everyone here is so nice and friendly. I just moved to Houston and my indoor/outdoor kitties were getting sores on them I was quite worried about. Dr. Christianson immediately knew that it was from mosquitoes. She also was extremely informative and explained everything very thoroughly. She gave me info and tips about the risks and other things pertaining to keeping my cats healthy here in Houston since the environment is very different from Arizona where we moved from.

She gave me information that no vet had ever given me before especially about my FIV+ kitty. she was so amazing with my kitties they even were okay with her touching their bellies (which NEVER is allowed lol) highly recommend coming here!

I have been coming here a few years and have had a good experience. Recently I was told that my cat needed his teeth cleaned, but some of the reviews on yelp scared me that said there were cats passing away during routine procedures. So I wanted to get a second opinion on his teeth and see if there was something else that could be tried before getting the teeth cleaned.

I took him to another cat-only clinic, and they told me his teeth were fine with minimal tartar buildup. It is one opinion vs another so that's why I am giving three stars, but it does concern me that my cat was almost put through a procedure that was apparently unnecessary and very costly. I read online 1 in 100,000 cats die in anesthesia, which isn't a super high percentage, but still, unless it's something super necessary why take that risk. So I think it's a good lesson for all to think hard before an operation/procedure and consider a second opinion!
