One of my favorite vets. Recently brought my two dogs in and I was out in about 30 minutes. The staff is always awesome. I moved away from Concord but I still drive 45 minutes to come here because I'm picky about the vets I go to. Highly recommend.

We bring our sometimes reactive pitty to Coddle Creek, and have been very impressed with them! They are always willing to work with us on getting him into a room as soon as possible so he doesn't have to be nervous in the waiting room. All of the techs and the doctors have been very gentle and understanding of his reactivity. We would highly recommend this vet to anyone looking for a kind, understanding environment!

Was kind and patient, doctors give you all of the information and more. Took my cats Lucas and Camille and they are the best vet I've been to.

Coddle Creek got us in within a week of my call, which was awesome considering I could only come on a Saturday and we were a new patient. They put my boy in a room right away which was great because he can be reactive sometimes, the tech listened to all of my concerns and took notes, the doctor came in following the exam and sat in the floor with my dog and spoke with me about my concerns and gave me some tips to keep my dog healthy.

The exam and all of his shots were cheaper than anywhere I have been previously with my other dog. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. I cannot say enough good things about Coddle Creek.

We have used Coddle Creek for 12 years. They have cared for our dogs and even guinea pigs. I feel like they always take their time with our pets and provide a thorough exam. I recommend them to any pet owners.

Excellent care and super friendly! Prices are reasonable and they're great with animals. My cat had to get two shots and some blood drawn and he was completely fine the whole time. The vets are very attentive and listen to your concern, and also give plenty of information as needed.

We have been bringing our pets to Coddle Creek for almost 12 years now and will not take them anywhere else. The office staff is always friendly, caring, and great with our animals. Dr. Tanner is the vet we have seen most often and he is absolutely fantastic! He is thorough, always listens to our concerns, and helps us figure out what is best for our pets. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!

We've been taking Optimus (lab mix) to Dr. Packan since they day we adopted him.going on 4 yrs now. Dr. Packan is amazing. She has a wealth of knowledge, takes the time to address every concern or question I have during each appointment - this is very important to me. Getting an appointment is easy - front desk is very friendly. We are very satisfied with this clinic and would highly recommend them.

We have entrusted the care of our 3 cats to Coddle Creek for 8 years now. I cannot say enough good things about this animal hospital. They really care for your pets. We usually see Dr. Packan, she has been a great resource for my oldest cat who has had a myriad of health issues from Day 1, including skin cancer (and having to have his ears removed just one month after we adopted him) and heart problems.

She explains everything in great detail so you understand what's going on and your options. But really, every single one of their doctors are wonderful, I've seen all of them. Plus, their prices are reasonable and it's always easy to get an appt, even same day if your pet has something urgent. Thank you CCAH.

Super friendly doctor and technician at our recent visits. We recently adopted a kitten from our honeymoon in FL. We got in when needed every time for booster shots with Dr. Long & tech Katie. They were super nice, helpful and we look forward to her seeing our pets in the future! We were looking for a closer to home vet (I was a vet tech that retired due to baby, so driving 50 mins thru Clt/traffic wasn't ideal anymore) We called a few hospitals around here and none would allow us inside due to covid.

We want to be with our pet during the appointment like it should be and have actual human contact with staff. And some animals just don't do well without their owners. So thank you so much for allowing us in with our pets.you gained new happy & relieved patients! We appreciate it and all that the staff has done for our fur babies, especially the busy/difficult last 2 years. I know how crazy it was in veterinary world. You're the best!

I have been coming to Coddle Creek Animal Hospital for about 6 years now. I think the staff is very professional and friendly. The prices of service are very reasonable and fair. Dr. Little and Dr. Long are wonderful people and fantastic vets! I have lived in this area for 31 years and these folks are the very best around! I only wish that I would've found them sooner. I give my get team an A+ for being top notch.

I started taking my cat Bella to Dr. Tanner in August is 2019. I took my cat Bella for check up and found out she was very sick with FIP. I had no idea, she was losing weight.,I just want to thank the office for helping us through her last months with her. Thanks for the Christmas ornament of her paw and thoughtful card from the staff. I appreciate your help during this difficult time. If anyone is looking for a place to take their pet. I would go to Coddle Creek. Sandy

The absolute best vet in the world. We've been coming here for about four years now. Everyone is always nice, they make all five of our dogs feel very welcome and even if our pups are nervous going in, they're happy by the end. The doctors and techs all do their best and when something is out of their comfort zone they let you know and refer you to who they know can help. If I could come here for my doctor I would. 11/10 vet care and customer service.

I cannot say enough about my experience here. Putting your dog down is not easy, but every step of the way I felt like these people who never met us before were friends. They were comforting and so gentle with me and my pup. The doctor was downright amazing and had the best bedside manor. I wish people drs were as kind and gentle as him. If we ever get a new pet, we'll go there for sure. Thank you for your kindness and care. Thank you for the card and paw print. I framed it and think of that experience as comforting instead of traumatizing.

My family has been going to Coddle Creek Animal Hospital for the care of our pets for almost 15 years now and we've never had an issue. The Veterinarians are knowledgeable and the vet techs always seem to know how to interact with animals to make them feel safe and relaxed. We stopped in last week for a check-up and booster shots for our orange tabby Pacu and everything went smoothly.

No waiting around, clean exam room, doctor answered all our questions. I can't honestly say we have much to compare Coddle Creek to as we've never felt the need to go anywhere else. You're furry children seem to be in good hands here.

We have been going here for over 9 years. While all the vets seem knowledgeable and kind specifically we see Dr. Jennifer Long. We bring all our boxers here including our foster boxers. Our fosters our covered medically (financially) thru another great local Concord vet but we pay personally for Dr Long to see all of them. She treats all the dogs like she is a personal concierge vet in a big city.

Just like many breeds boxers have "a lot" going on and we trust Dr Long with all her recommendations but she also knows when it is time to just refer to a specific specialist for the needs past general medicine. She also has been very kind with the unfortunate loss of one of our babies and personally assisted in private with helping her to the rainbow bridge as well as recommended a private cremation company.

The front office, technicians and kennel employees treat our babies as their own dogs are being cared for there. So lucky a professional, talented and caring group of folks are located in the Concord/Huntersville/Davidson/CLT area.

Dr. Tanner: I don't want to hear any apologies from you. I just want you to know that I am an RN. I have worked many years at the ER AND I have seen and heard many times what a broken trachea sounds like. We placed our baby in your hands trusting in your abilities as a veterinarian. I can see now that I was wrong. You and your team, from the front desk people, to the one you sent to us after surgery, are very bad hearted persons.

You shouldn't be working with loving animals if you don't love them. You promote the image of being loving people taking care of animals like family. You're not. What my baby had to suffer and what my kids my husband and I are crying for his loss, is something I hope the universe gives back to you and yours. You, or whoever intubated Pelu, broke his trachea rings.

The fracture was so bad, that it made him suffer until his last minute. His last hours of life were so sad, that all we could do was pray for his death to come soon. He died of a pulmonary edema, after suffering during hours, because oxygen wasn't getting inti his beautiful small body, and this is something I will have to keep to myself, honoring Pelu's loving memory, and protecting my husband and small children from knowing what really happened to our Pelu.

I hope life treats you as well as Pelu's life was. I hope you reach someday the happiness he had and gave to us, his family. Maybe he was just another dog for you. Another number. But he was an important part of our family and lives. And his loss will be a very deep pain into our hearts forever. My baby didn't deserve to die. He deserved to live many more years.

My son Santino didn't deserve to say goodbye to his bed companion at six years of age. My daughter Isabella, didn't deserve to say goodbye to his flute practice singing partner. My daughter Delfina didn't deserve to say goodbye to her first pet ever, because we traveled so much in her early childhood that we couldn't have had one before.

My husband and me didn't deserve to see our baby die in my arms, after sphincter control loss, and even then, he tried to comfort me by kissing my crying face. Be sure we will not do anything against you or your staff. We will not go to the news, neither will we go against your name or the clinic you work for. We just expect life to bring this to your attention anytime, and to think about it.

This world needs better hearted people, more smiles and real explanations and sorrows that come from the heart. Tell the lady that discharged my baby saying he was crying because he was too spoiled, that when your trachea is broken and you're about to get into pulmonary arrest, the desperation of the air not getting into your lungs is unbearable.

Maybe she has to go back to love and compassion school, because if you don't get touched by a small loving child picking up his beloved dog thinking he was going to go home to get better, I don't know what does. She has no heart and I hope life gives her back what she deserves. In memory of our beloved baby, who will be forever remembered and loved, I hope you have one day the life and happiness my dog had and gave to us.

I hope you think about this and make peace with God before you have to leave this earth. I will still teaching my children the importance of compassion, love and forgiveness, no matter how many bad hearted people I encounter in my path. Until I can finally reunite with my dear Pelu, not to leave him never again. Best regards, Pelu's Mom. Terrible experience. If you love your pet don't take them there.

I stopped going there after several years of not so compassionate care, techs pushing immunizations on my dogs regardless of my questions, and being particularly unhelpful when I called about abandoned kittens found in the street. Moved my pets care to Lakecross where everyone is welcoming, friendly, and when the occasional stray shows up at my house, they always have creative ways to help treat them and place them.

I absolutely love Dr Tanner @ Coddle Creek! We have been going there for several years and he has been amazing with all my animals. In less than a year we have had to put down our dog, Lady, and one of our cats, Cooper, and both times Dr Tanner made an awful situation a little easier. We've never had any issues getting appointments and Dr Tanner is always there if I have any questions!

There are really wonderful people at Coddle Creek Animal Hospital and I'm going to miss them terribly when we move back to Florida. I would recommend them to friends and family

If your dog needs surgery or you have an emergency, skip Coddle Creek and go straight to Carolina Vet Specialists. My family has gone to Coddle Creek since the year it opened with two dogs. Bottom line - they are great for checkups, minor illness, and well-visits, but terrible for surgery and emergencies. About six years ago, we pointed out a tumor on our (indoor) dogs hind leg days at-most a week or two after it appeared.

They specifically told us it was a "pocket of fluid." Questions about cancer and biopsy were treated as if our family was being overly concerned, borderline paranoid. They told us this a few times more until we stopped worrying. SIX YEARS years later, at a standard checkup, we find ourselves rushing our dog into emergency surgery to remove the same tumor as it was now deemed cancerous when for the past 5+ years it wasn't even worth biopsy.

What ensued was a surgery with the worst planning and wound management one could imagine. Our beloved dog endured 5+ weeks of his incision ripping open weekly while on a barrage of medication and on bed rest with 24/7 supervision. The incision was made horizontally across his large muscles on the hind legs, rather than vertically to dissipate stress on the skin.

We have a MD and RN in our family who both confirmed this should've never been cut horizontally. Furthermore, they used staples to close the wound. We had to return 5+ times - where staples were haphazardly placed outside of anesthesia. In the end, they gave up. $2000 and a second major surgery later, Carolina Vet Specialist fixed the situation by making vertical incisions which managed the stress on the wound and six weeks later our dog finally began day 1 of healing.

Six months later we returned with a new emergency. After about $500 and two days of observation at Coddle Creek we left without a single answer. It would take between $600-1000 to get those answers. For $100 and about 30 minutes of their time - Carolina Vet Specialist confirmed our worst nightmare. The cancer that had been lingering in our dogs leg for six years had metastasized to the spleen and it had ruptured, causing internal bleeding. We put our dog down two days ago and will forever regret not getting a second opinion six years ago.

Took my over hyper dachshund here for a yearly wellness/ shot appt along with a nail trim. Any other vet had to knock my dog out to get her nails done. Dr. Tanner was able to do it drug free, and my little one was at ease with him. The staff was very friendly as well. Highly recommend this vet to anyone in the area.

Took my puppy here because he wasn't feeling well. Called that morning and they got me in at 9am. Saw Dr. Bo Little and he was great. Didn't make my visit seem rushed and seemed to really care about my puppy's wellness. Give it 4 stars just because it seemed a little pricey. The exam alone was $54 and then he had 2 antibiotics, guess that's the price for good vet care tho.

New puppy visit went well with Dr. Long. Really liked her. They were gentle with the puppy and price was about $140 which seems to be about standard.

I have 3 dogs and just recently switched vets. My old vet office just got so outrageous on their prices and ridiculous health screening requirements that I decided to find a new vet. I got numerous recommendations from friends that this place was great. Indeed it was. I am always able to get a very quick appointment (even on Saturdays with not much notice yeah) and their prices are much better than other offices I have dealt with.

I have 3 dogs and they worked with me so that I could bring all 3 of them in at the same time to get them entirely up to date. They did a great job with this and put is in a large waiting room with plenty of room for my big dogs. They also have a pet portal in which you can access all of your animals info 24/7. (very handy if you board your animals and have to show proof of vacinnations on a holiday) The doctors were great, the care was great and the prices were good. They even gave me a discount since I had 3 dogs. I highly recommend this very clean, friendly and affordable office.
