Cinder Rock Veterinary Clinic

I took by 10lb Chihuahua to have her teeth cleaned. When I went to pick her up I was presented with a bill for $1,455.00 dollars. They pulled 2 teeth but nothing major. No oral surgery or anything. The staff is always great but the price seems very high especially when you are retired.

Just moved to Redmond from Ohio and Cinder Rock has been awesome! The transfer of records was smooth and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They all have made us feel welcome and shown great care and attention to detail in getting our two Frenchie well cared for - offering up lots of advice and recommendations on skin care for allergies. Very happy with the service!

If I could give 100 stars I would! I travel full time around the US in an RV with 3 elderly pets so I see a lot of vets. This was my best bet experience ever! The Dr. was very thorough with her explanations and provided some services other vets charge extra for outside of the "normal exam" fee- here it was included. The vet tech Mikkel was beyond fabulous- you can tell they really care about your pet. Highly highly recommended this practice!

My Vizsla has ear problems due to allergies that is always recurring. Dr. Hamm told me more about this condition on this visit than years at another vet clinic. I hope for much better results this time with a cytopoint injection too!

We have used Cinder Rock for the last 8 years for both dogs and cats. In the last year, the quality and service has significantly declined. One month ago, I called for an emergency last minute vet visit for my cat. I was confronted with "we recommend you take your cat to the bend emergency referral center." I was not offered any support. Today, I called for another, more significant emergency for my cat.

My cat was attacked by a fox with a severe puncture and had difficulty breathing. I immediately called cinder rock requesting an emergency visit as I only live a few miles away. I was again faced with a refusal in service, this time with "well, you can bring him here and we can get to him when we can, otherwise take your cat to the referral center." So I proceed to take him to Bend, hoping he makes the 30 minute drive. We will no longer refer or take any animals to this vet. Whatever has happened in the recent months is horrific and I strongly discourage anyone to use this vet!

We have been with Cinder Rock since moving here from Ohio. They have always been there when we needed them. We almost lost our last yorkie, but our vet stated he would not give up finding a solution, and he did and our dog lived for 15 years. They may not be the cheapest vets in town, but they are the most reliable vets you can find.

We have been going to Cinder Rock for about 6 years. They been wonderful to our kitty. Since our first visit, they have been compassionate and focused on our cats health and comfort. She had a slight reaction to a round of shots so they have been caring to only give her one at a time. The office is calm - they offer towels to cover your pet crate that are sprayed with calming spray. Great vaccine program, pay once and vaccines are covered for the life of your pet. Great Clinic.

I have been bringing my Pekinese, Sweetpea, to Cinder Rock Veterinary Clinic since she was a pup. I am continually impressed with how caring, experienced, and professional everyone is there. From the moment I walk in the door, Sweetpea and I are always greeted with a friendly hello to being in the exam room, the Vets and Vet Techs high level of expertise, care, and compassion is evident. In my experience over the last 6-years, I can confidently say, these folks are always on their "A" game and I am proud to recommend them!

My dog got hit by a car and I took him to them they were very considerate and kind they checked him out for me and gave me some referrals of where to go for emergency I would highly recommended them anytime.

My Border Collie/McNab Keaton sees Karen and she works so well with him. Karen is the only Vet I will take him to as he is an aggressive dog. He just had to have ACL surgery and the day before his surgery I called and spoke to Kendal the receptionist about his medication the morning of his surgery. She got home from the Vet and realized she didn’t call me back and so she drove back to the clinic at 9pm to call and let me know what I needed to do! Kendal went above and beyond! ❤️Kendal kept apologizing for calling me so late but she wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing how much anxiety I had over this surgery!

I told her how much I appreciate her doing this!!!

Cinder rock is very caring and loving all of the girls there are just wonderful dr. Karen just operated on my little Chihuahua he tore his ACL she is the best I love everyone there thank you you've taken care of my Dingo and Sassy for years I love all of you

I was in a state (injured puppy) and Dr. Karen made me feel so comforted and took amazing care of our pup (and me!). We are so happy this hospital is near our home, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone with animals. The front desk staff took the time to cuddle our new pup and make her feel comfortable as well. Dr. Karen has the warmest bedside manner (with humans and animals haha) I've ever experienced.

I felt heard and confident our pup was receiving the best care. My pup received excellent care for her injury, for a very reasonable price and has healed completely, what more could you ask for? Even when calling in for follow up, the level has care has been impeccable.

All the staff there are outstanding. I can't thank everyone enough for all the love, care they gave my cat Mittens. Jessica is a wonderful compassionate woman and she helped me through tuff times. Generous with a big heart. I love that my cat was more than just another animal. He was loved and treated with the upmost respect. Great place with great people.

my husband and I came across a old Little Chihuahua that needed a home 4 months ago. it was one of the best decisions we ever made and Cinder Rock Veterinary Clinic is the best place to take your animal. They are so kind and so nice. They really love their patients a lot. I won't take her anywhere else. thank you to the staff there with the kind and loving care you give to teeny tiny.

My black lab was sick so we made him an appointment at another Vet. They told us he was just getting old. He quickly got worse . I made him an appointment with Cinder Rock and they realized immediately my dog was was in a lot of pain and was dying. They were so kind and compassionate. It was possibly the worst day of my life , but all the staff did their best to ease my ‘Gumpys’ pain and make a horrible painful situation more tolerable. Thank you to all staff for your kindness.
