Dr. Kim is amazing. We were concerned about our dog and emailed Dr. Kim. He called us back to speak to us about our concerns and scheduled a consultation and surgery within the week. I would highly recommend Chesapeake Animal Hospital. They have taken care of my dog throughout her long and happy life.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. This was the only location out of 5 different places within Hampton Roads willing to help my boyfriend and I with a super sick kitten. They took us in unexpectedly the same day we desperately needed to find the little guy help. The entire staff was caring, they saw us almost right away, and they were beyond communicative and caring.

They also provided us with everything that we needed in hopes of saving the kitten. If it wasn't for living so far, I would try to make this my main place for care for my animals. I truly trust their work and their dedication to helping others help pets. Rambo and I want to say "thank you" to all of the staff at this location for what they do every single day.

I brought in my 10 year old Jack Russell for the first time and we saw Dr. Brooks. He is a wonderful veterinarian! He took his time, and explained everything. Dr. Brooks called a few days later himself with test results and again was very through and patient. He was genuinely concerned and compassionate. I was more nervous than my dog and I left there feeling so much better and relieved. (and so did my dog;) Everyone there was very nice, professional, and efficient. It's very stressful when your pets aren't feeling well and I am soo happy I found them! Thank you to you all!

Called with a sick dog, and they were able to see us that morning. After her examination, it was determined that this little poodle gal had Pyometra. They made room for her to perform surgery the next morning. I am very grateful to Dr Brooks and his staff for taking care of her needs so soon. The staff is very friendly and were able to answer all of my questions.

Dr. Neering is an excellent vet and I'm very grateful to have my pet in her care. She is thorough, compassionate, patient, listens, and is extremely attentive in helping you manage difficult and complex health issues. The office manager Christina will also go the extra mile to help make sure you're taken care of if something is wrong with your pet. I'm very grateful for this office and glad I found it, 10/10 would recommend without hesitation to anyone.

Many of my friends lament that they can't get appointments at their vet or that the vet doesn't care. I have seen Dr. Brooks with 4 different dogs over the last 34 years. He is kind, thorough, and an excellent vet. The loyal staff is made up of people like Kathleen, Bill and Rusty who know what they are doing and show love and compassion to the animals and the owners. Even during COVID, I was able to get curbside appointments which were well planned and smooth. I enthusiastically refer people to Chesapeake Animal Hospital.

I have been taking my pets to Chesapeake Animal Hospital for all veterinary needs since 1989, and I will not take them any other place. Their entire staff is awesome as they are very caring, knowledgeable, willing to answer all questions, etc. They get a A+ in communication. Dr. Brooks is excellent in returning calls, and ensures you have a good understanding of the situation on hand.

He is very caring and down to earth and will personally follow up with you to see how your pet is doing. My dog Joey is a three time rescue, very scared of the softest sound, and of people. He would never bite, just cow down with fear and shake. It's a great feeling when I bring him in for an appointment as his tail is always wagging. He loves to visit Kathy who is their groomer.

She does an excellent job in making him the handsome dude he is. And he smells fantastic! I have not used their boarding facility for a while due to Covid, but I did in the past. They take excellent care of him as if he belonged to them. This gives me peace of mind when I am not with him. I have referred many friends and relatives to them and and everyone is pleased.

A friend (non-customer at that time) was interested in adopting a cat with feline leukemia. Dr. Kim spent much time on the phone with her explaining the disease in detail, making sure she was making the best choice for the cat and her. I may be wrong, but I don't know if any venterinarians in the area would have taken this call. They say dogs have a good sense of character. I definitely believe that as everyone there is great & Joey loves them all!

My family has been a client of Dr. Brooks since the mid 1980s. After I married and began my own family of furry children, my husband and I continued going to him. We have always held him and his staff in high regard. I trust each of them completely with the welfare of my pets.

I love the entire staff in every area they work in. I never feel like I am bothering them whether I am there with one of my pets or calling on the phone with a question. When I had to say goodbye to one of my pups, and they cried with me and were so amazing, It was so heartfelt and comforting. You can tell they all love what they are doing and where they work.

I have been going there for 11 years now, and will never go anywhere else. The groomer, Kathy, is also the BEST!! She’s fantastic!! There is nothing I don’t love about Chesapeake Animal Hospital!!! THE.BEST.EVER!!

Absolutely love Dr. Brooks and his staff. Everyone is so friendly and they really seem to care about my pets! Highly recommend! Usually my doberman is timid around men and he walks right up to all the staff waiting to be loved on.

I have been taking my pets to Chesapeake Animal Hospital for 24 or so years now and there has never been a question as to the care they give. It doesn't matter what Tech or what Dr. (however I always try to see Dr. Brooks), the care is wonderful. I see caring, loving, professional and knowledgeable care being given. I have taken 4 dogs and 2 cats to their care and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Chesapeake Animal Hospital has always been professional, kind, and patient. Dr. Kim does an excellent job diagnosing and treating our cat and explaining care needed. Kathleen from administrative staff has always gone above and beyond in helping with paperwork and other arrangements. I'd recommend Chesapeake Animal Hospital to anybody needing care for their furry family member.

I can’t begin to thank Dr Neering and staff for being so caring to my families babies. Yesterday we had to put down our doggie of 14 years and Dr Neering was the most compassionate sweetest person, and caring of our 14 year old Boxer. Thank you so so much for always taking the best of care for our doggies. We would never take our babies to anyone else. Dr Neering and Chesapeake Animal Hospital is the best there is ❤️❤️❤️
