Dr. Ferrell is absolutely fantastic! She saved my sweet Minnie 2 months ago when I brought her in frantically. My apartment had just flooded and my mom had slipped, fracturing her back. While she was in the hospital, my tiny chihuahua got deathly sick with Pyometra. She didn't waste any time and rushed my baby into surgery. She made a full recovery.

You can tell that Dr Ferrell (and the rest of the clinic) truly care for their patients and their family - because even though she was treating my baby, she was also there for me. She was compassionate and caring and was there for me when I had any questions. I won't take my baby anywhere else! I can't express how grateful I am to her and the rest of the clinic for taking such excellent care of my baby. I will be forever grateful to her for saving Minnie.

My boys (heeler mix and Aussie) can't type, but they gave the best review they could in their own way: after Dr Sharp gave them shots and nail trims (normally not fun activities), she came in to discuss my boys' annual exams, and she got down on the floor.and my two normally *super* shy and suspicious boys were immediately all tail wags and went up to her and slobbered her face with kisses.

If y'all felt an earthquake recently, that was my jaw hitting the floor! We moved away temporarily and have driven as much as 2 hours to come to this clinic - thankfully we live closer again, but is worth the drive. We love Dr Sharp and the team at Canyon Creek Animal Clinic!

Dr. Carmen and her team are the absolute best! I'm very particular about my service dog and I'm so glad that she under their care. They're always super friendly, they explain everything in detail to me and I always leave feeling like they really care about my dog. I'm so happy I chose them to be my dog's vet!

I have very mixed feelings about the facility. The vet was awesome compared to other places (City Vet) we have been. However, the support staff has been very disappointing. We had yearly checkup a few days ago and were told they would need repeat heart worm test ($$) prior to getting injection, and paid for this, and scheduled appointment to have injection.

After taking off time and bringing 3 dogs to get there shots, I was told they have no appointment listed and that I didn't make an appointment. I'm pretty sure I didn't imagine a specific appointment time and take off work for no reason. While the staff has been nice, they definitely seem quite aloof. Strike 1: No appointment after confirming verbally and showing up?

Not able to assist. Strike 2: No quote for dental cleaning after asking and being told I would receive it? Honestly, I want to like them but have left very disappointed and frustrated and not sure I'll be returning based on my experience.

I had been bringing my English Bulldog there since they were new puppies in 2017. In 2019 one of them began having seizures. This vet put him on meds that controlled the seizures. In 2020, he was losing weight and looked very sick. I tried to make appointment for him but due to COVID, they did not have anything available. I took him to the emergency vet hospital off of Forest and 75.

After many tests and over $700, they determined it was the medicine that was prescribed to him that was hurting his liver causing him not deteriorate. They stated they do not even prescribe that medicine anymore because of the known damage to the liver. I changed him to another vet right after and he's been doing great. When I took him to the hospital, he was weighing 42 pounds and looking very sick. Now, he's 56 pounds and looking great! Be cautious at this vet!

I can't say enough great things about this clinic. Amazing staff! All of my fur babies see Dr. Ferrell and Lisa. Both of them are so caring and patient people. It is very comforting to know they really take time with your babies and listen to all of your concerns for your pet. I will always continue to take my pets here.

I followed Dr. Carman to this location from Hillside Veterinary Clinic and I'm so happy we did. It puts me at such ease to know she can remember us and give us attention without feeling rushed between emergencies. Hillside Veterinary is good, but they are so overwhelmed with emergencies, and we never saw the same doctor. Coming to Canyon Creek has been the best thing for my senior pups continued care.

They have an exceptional front desk receptionist who always puts a smile on my face. The facility is clean, quiet and full of comfort and reassurance. Happy to make the trip out here for our fur baby.

My beloved cat, Jiji has seen this vet since she was a kitten. Never have I had any concerns about the care they were providing her until my visit this past week. She had been experiencing symptoms of coughing and wheezing that were identical to the sounds of an asthmatic cat. The visit with the actual vet took maybe 10 minutes just for them to tell me they "didn't know what it was" and will just "give her an antibiotic shot and if it continues come back" after I showed them videos of the sounds of her coughing and wheezing.

I knew that it was more serious than what they made it out to be so I decided to seek a second opinion less than a week later. This vet, Willow Bend Veterinary Clinic, immediately told me that feline asthma was a strong possibility. To make sure, they kept her to take her blood and do an X-ray. These tests revealed that it was not asthma, but a herniated diaphragm.

She will need a sonogram and surgery. For Canyon Creek to let me leave so easily with my cat who was obviously in pain and struggling, is so disappointing and scary. My cat will no longer be a patient here and neither will my mothers.

Our family cannot say enough great things about Dr. Ferrell and her team at Canyon Creek Animal Clinic. Her love and compassion for animals shines through. She is knowledgeable and thorough-each visit, we pepper her with questions and concerns, and she always explains each decision and each answer while helping us make the best choices for our English Bulldog.

And we admire her work ethic- she never stops, yet she always seems to slow down to give you and your pet the attention you deserve during each visit. Quite simply, Dr. Ferrell is a compassionate, talented, well-educated doctor who works really, really hard. It's tough to top that combo! Aside from Dr. Ferrell, the staff have been great-responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. And other doctors on the team do great work, too. My parents' dog is a patient of Dr. Westra, and they are just as impressed! We couldn't recommend the entire clinic more.

I have never had a bad experience with Canyon Creek. Their vets and vet techs are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and the front desk/receptionists are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure they can get you in. There have been multiple times they have seen my dog same day. I believe they are down a vet right now so they are a little more booked up than normal, so I would recommend calling to make an appointment a week or so in advanced if you just need a general appointment!

The inside of the building is always absolutely spotless. Doesn't have the typical "vet" smell at all and really feels homey. Never feel scammed or taken advantage of, and that's a good feeling. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to call home for all their veterinary needs!

Canyon creek is my best vet experience ever. I've got 4 dogs and they are so kind and so thorough with every dog. They really take their time with each pet and are great at explaining things after they've looked at your pet. Also, the cost is extremely reasonable for such a nice clinic. Really the best vet experience in the area.

Canyon creek animal clinic is a really good facility, The veterinarians really care about the animals and the owners. I'll admit the prices are a bit more, but it's totally worth it if you want your animals it to be like fully checked out and cared for properly. Our two older English Mastiff girls are Lucy (the red head) and Cotton (the fawn) have been to this clinic plenty of times and mostly everyone there that works there knows them and loves them to death.

Our newest addition to the family is our brindle English Mastiff, our boy named Sue. It was his first time coming here and as always he was frightened by new people but after 30 minutes or so he calmed down and let everyone pet him. Anyways before I get too far off, this place is very personable and reputable. I would referred pretty much anyone that I know to this place because I don't like suggesting places that that miss treat animals.

This place is really down to earth and they don't try to always nickel and dime everyone all the time, (like a ton of other clinics I've been to). Overall the building itself is really homey and really clean, when you walk in you can tell that everyone that works there takes pride in their job. Keep up the good work you all. We will be back to see you again.

Everyone there has been great. And my puppy has stomach issues so I have been playing Doctor Bingo and almost have met all of them. Not one of them has ever come across as wanting to just sell you stuff. They get on the floor and play with the pups while they talk and they are very helpful and sweet. I am so happy Koda has an amazing Doctor's office.
