Can't say enough about how well all my dogs have been treated here. From the first day when I moved to Darien in 2008 my dogs have been seen here. They always have the answers to my questions and they spend the time to make sure you have everything answered before you leave. I highly recommend everyone in this office.

Dr. Johnson could not have been more kind, caring, and compassionate. She answered all my fiance and my questions, she took her time with our two dogs and made them calm enough to even lay down in the office. This was our first time here and I wish we would've been coming here all along. Hoping me won't have to see Dr. Johnson anytime soon, until our next annual visit, but if something comes up I know our boys will be in great and capable hands.

We've been using Burr Ridge Vet practice for years. Some of that time has involved caring for very sick pets. Since relocating to this area I can't imagine going anywhere else. Everyone is wonderful. The doctors, especially Dr Rooney, our primary doctor is the best. He really takes the time to discuss our pet's health, options and developing a plan. Thank you Burr Ridge for helping to keep our pet happy and healthy!

Have been a customer of this animal hospital with multiple dogs for many years, However I do feel this is the last. Took our 10yr old pug to be put to sleep this past Monday and to say it was a horrible unprofessional experience is an understatement. We show up for our 10.30am appointment to be told 'your late as your appointment was 10am'. As we were waiting the Vet tech gave our dog a sedative to relax him and for whatever apparent reason forgot to return to us.
The animal was left unattended by the vet tech for a period of 15 minutes or more which ended in the poor little pug suffocating to death. To say this is a sad and emotional experience is one thing but the unprofessional conduct of the vet tech in question was poor at best and this ended up quite a traumatic experience overall. The silver lining here is the Veterinarian remained professional throughout the whole botched euthanasia experience and was excellent at consoling the family members present during this nightmare. Unfortunately standards have slipped at this animal hospital and we will no longer continue to bring our pets here.

Our standard poodle was born with hip issues that were not disclosed to us from the breeder. We're very grateful for the excellent care and advise we received from Drs. Palmer and Sexton. Their calm and knowledgeable guidance was invaluable in assisting us how to best move forward with his care. The support staff also couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Additionally, we appreciate having the option and convenience of asking questions and booking appointments on-line as their response time has always been quick. Obviously, we highly recommend this practice.

I came in with my babygirl Phyllis today and asked Dr.Rooney about 50 questions all written down about what was normal for dogs and if those things are out of the ordinary and if he had any reconmendations for some behaviors and food! He was so knowledgeable and kind answering each question without hurrying me. That was the best part; you know when you go to a drivethrough and they repeatedly ask you, 'anything else?' and there is about 20 other things you wanted to order but you now have anxiety and don't want to continue so you say yes? ( Don't lie, you know what Im talking about) THIS DIDNT HAPPEN AT ALL!
I swear this doctor answered 50 questions about chihuahuas and dogs in general for me while smiling! This place will always have my business and trust because my dog isnt just a dog, she is my daughter and a part of our family. We also had a great experidnce with their vet tech (I think her name was Katie) and she was amazing and so sweet. I am glad she will be there for my dogs next vaccine while they do curbside because of Covid and I would have never thought I would be able to feel okay handing her off to someone else. Phyllis says thanks for the treats and for calming her mommy down!

The staff and care of this team is beyond my expectations. My dad has been using this vet for years and now I will be currently switching to this vet for my fur babies. My 11 year old Aussie mix, Brocks, had to cross the rainbow bridge 2 weeks ago and it was one of the most difficult things I had to go through, but the staff really helped us feel comfortable going through this. Recently, I had recommended one of my friends to check them out for a second opinion on her dog, and she was extremely satisfied with her experience at this clinic.

Knowledgeable & friendly. They helped my dog live his best life through terminal cancer. When Midnight was getting his chemo treatments, afterwards Dr. Palmer would lay in the kennel with him and listen to music until he perked back up. Dr. Rooney was quick to let me know when my senior kitty, Georgia, started showing signs of kidney failure and able to get her on a treatment plan that kept her comfortable as long as possible. Dr. Sexton has been phenomenal with all of my cats, even when one had an accident on her!
She figured out that my Merlin had asthma, and the techhnicians & staff were able to help me find a way to afford his medicines. Dr. Johnson has been seeing our youngest kitten since we found her on the street at only a month old! Everyone I have interacted with in every instance has been caring, compassionate, and exemplary. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful place to care for my fur-family.

I have been going to Burr Ridge Veterinary Clinic for about 7 years now ever since I have my bog Bella. I always have good experience with the staff, technicians and doctors have been good kind and helpful. Whenever I have concern or question about my dog I was always treated and my dogs very warmly and feels like a family. But today I have the worst experience with a Lady named Cathy who works in the front desk, She is the most rudest and have the don't care attitude about my dog.
I asked her if I can out Neosporin on my dog boo boo and I was told right in my face 'DONT ASK ME" ask the Technicians here. I will still bring my dogs there and every time I go there I just keep my fingers cross that I do not have to deal with her. The owners should give her training on how to deal with customers or maybe training on good manners.

Burr Ridge Veterinary is THE BEST!!! Dr. Rooney and his entire staff are absolutely wonderful. Dr. Rooney is truly a compassionate and caring veterinarian who goes above and beyond in the care he provides for our loved ones. Dr. Rooney and his staff were absolutely wonderful when it was time to say good-bye to our sweet Lola. Now we have Athina who just loves them all, especially Barb. Thank you, keep up the good work!

We have been going to Burr Ridge Vet for years, but now I want to specifically give kudos to Dr. Rooney who just helped us through challenging situation with our dog -
Our dog, Bentley, had significant issues with his eye which resulted in it needing to be removed. Dr. Rooney was with us from the start of this journey and up until his follow-up visit post-surgery. Dr. Rooney was incredibly kind, caring, and patient with Bentley, my husband, and myself.
In addition to his incredible demeanor in the office, he also took the time to call both my husband and I to allow us to express concerns and answer any questions we had. We are truly thankful for Dr. Rooney! I do want to add that all of the vet techs and front desk staff have been incredibly kind!
