Dr. Cook, is a very compassionate person. She goes above and beyond for all our pets in office and out. We can call her with questions anytime and will always get back to us. We Love Dr. Cook!

Just moved to Red Wing a few months ago, and my dog Butch needed to be seen for an emergency, and when I called The Bluffs, they took us in immediately! The vet assistants were so friendly and professional, and made me welcomed. And the doctor. He was so also so friendly and professional, and he took the time to do a complete check-up besides the emergency we were there for. He took the time to listen to me, and answer all of my questions. I REALLY recommend The Bluffs Pet Clinic!

The Bluffs is the most amazing clinic that we have ever had. Our Boston terrier became almost paralyzed. We went to our regular vet and they could do nothing for her. We started with Dr. Cook and with her acupuncture on Buttons, our dog is just like a puppy again. I highly recommend our vet to anyone who lives in the community of Red Wing to go to Bluffs. They are accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and reasonably priced. Candy W.

I bought a puppy from a breeder in Missouri after having her for a week she became VERY sick. I called every where and no one could get me in, after spending thousands on a dog I was trying to avoid the emergency rooms. I called the bluffs pet clinic and they told me to get her there ASAP, my dog ended up having parvo. They told me if I would of brought her home with out care she would die.

They told me I could send her to a animal hospital which would be 1k every 12 hours she was there or they could try to treat her there. I allowed them to treat her because I couldn't afford 1k every 12 hours. To say the least they SAVED my baby. They brought her back to life and at a VERY reasonable price. I can't say enough good things about this clinic, the staff, and the care they provide. A+++ My cat Kozette recently had his first visit to the Bluffs Pet Clinic. This visit will never be forgotten. New to the clinic experience, Kozette was-to say the least -un-co-operative. Once let out of his carrier, he met the Vet and technicians face to face with tooth and claw.

At one point, Kozette stood up on his back legs, his front paws--claws out--batting the air furiously. He hissed like a wild cat and made quite a scene. I was embarrassed by my cat's bad behavior. But, turns out there was nothing to worry about. With easy skill and adept teamwork the Vet and technicians quickly and efficiently brought everything under control. Kozette was safely and securely restrained, and in short order my pet's check up, blood-work, and vaccines were all done.

Back home, later that evening we received a follow up call from our Vet Dr Lahner inquiring as to how our cat Kozette was doing. *It was this last professional gesture that put this experience over the top for me. I feel as if the people who work at the Bluffs care about my pet as if he were their own-- and that is a very good feeling to have when it comes to my beloved kitty Kozette.

I do not know why "compassionate" isn't one of the "what do you like about this business" choices. The Bluffs Pet Clinic are amazing. Their care for our dog and cat over the last 6 years has been at the level of the Mayo Clinic. When our cat's urinary problems became too expensive for us to manage, the Bluffs' "adopted" him. I can not say enough good things about this business.

Staff is absolutely wonderful. They were able to get my pup in quickly when she got into some stuff that isn't exactly dog friendly. They made sure I felt included with her entire plan of care regardless of the COVID restrictions. I even got a call the day after my dogs appointment just to check up on how she was doing!

Everyone here is so kind! The office is very clean and smells good. They have a couple cats that wonder around and are very nice. The vet and vet techs are super sweet. Front desk staff are easy to talk to. Prices are very reasonable! I would recommend this place! Edit 1 year later: Still great prices and friendly service.

There are not enough complimentary words in the English language to praise The Bluffs Vet Clinic. I am working here on assignment, some co-workers recommended the place & they accepted us like local family. Their care of my dog Cadance was superb. She had a reoccurrence of mast cell tumors & they handled two surgeries and after-care with such grace & love.

They went above & beyond in researching doggie chemo options (she didn't quite qualify) and have been amazingly progressive & proactive in treating her with some Eastern medicinal herbs. No more cancer, and each time I take her in for food or to get some of her supplements, they all come out from behind the desk to greet Cadance by name. They are generous with kisses, scratches & treats. She loves The Bluffs staff, and I consider myself so very blessed to have found them & their unparalleled care. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I like the fact that Dr. Cook uses alternative medicine to treat, especially, my older animals. They are great people to work with and take great care of my animals!
