Olsen is always very well taken care of! Office staff is always polite and friendly. I am always well informed about any care that Olsen has received from Blue Grass. Dr. Disney answers any questions I have about prescriptions, medical/dental procedures and general questions about Olsen's health. She is also very gentle and compassionate with him, especially t since he is an older dog.

I just moved here and my older kitty had slowed her eating down for a few days and I was getting worried. It was a Saturday when I decided I needed to get her to a vet, I frantically called 10 different vets (they all close early on Saturdays) and bluegrass vet worked us in on extremely short notice. They did a great job, and my kitty has perked up after a few days of meds, and they also went out of their way to call me on Sunday saying they forgot to give me a free sample of flea medication and I can come pick it up.

I just thought it was super thoughtful to remember that, price was good, they did really good work, and were very nice. I appreciate all you guys do, thank you so much. We will be using you all again!

Highest quality of care. As the owner of 3 dogs (just lost 2 this past summer) Bluegrass Animal Hospital has/had taken care of all 5 of my dogs for the past 6 years. Dr. Disney is amazing and the entire staff is wonderful to our fur babies! I highly recommend them. Old or young, they take great care of them!

The folks at Bluegrass A.H. have cared for my 6-yr old American Bulldog Max since he was 8 weeks old. Max loves them. When we pull into the parking lot, Max brightens up and his tail starts wagging, because he considers everyone there as his buddy. They provide reminders when various tests or inoculations are due and have a full array of medical expertise and advanced medical equipment.

For me, the most compelling positive is the quality of their care. Before and after Max's recent surgery, the vet and staff clearly and thoroughly explained the procedure, the costs, and post-operative care, then they called me twice a day for 3 days after the surgery to check on my big boy. And in every contact, they show Max they love him and care for him. And he returns the love.

I cannot express how thankful I am for choosing this facility to handle the passing of our beloved dog. Unfortunately, we had to euthanize our companion of over 13 years in February 2021. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we struggled to locate a place that would allow both me and my husband to be present during the procedure. I simply cannot say enough kind words about this facility and the wonderful staff we encountered.

Although saying goodbye to our sweet boy, Colby, was a terrible day we will never forget, the staff made it more bearable to endure. Thank you for the kind hearts and compassion shown to us during this time

My dog goes here three days a week for daycare, we love the staff and the fact that he's exhausted by the time we get him home! The staff take their time to get to know the dog and any preferences that they may have.

I've been coming here for 7 years. The doctors are always very patient and take the time to explain everything in detail, and answer any questions you might have.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality Dr Moser might like animals but she and her "roommate" Ms Rice love to price gouge and do unessesary surgery on your pet. Further more Moser will never admit she is wrong and has verbally attacked her clients and staff on a regular basis. There are hundreds of vets in Knoxville. Don't let her be yours

Had a great first experience with our new kitty. Due to COVID-19, they are operating curbside where they work with you over the phone, then take your pet inside to do the exam before calling you and letting you know how it went and bringing your pet back out to you. All of the Bluegrass workers I spoke with were super friendly and helpful and they answered all of my questions. I can definitely recommend Bluegrass Animal Hospital. My kitty and I will be back again for the next checkup.

Dr. Barry is an absolute gem. I have really been through it with my young pup and through multiple times of either 1. Coming in emergently or 2. Routine puppy woes, she has answered questions and been there l through each step. Our puppy even had parvo and she called the emergency clinic he was staying at to get information and translated it for me - which truly meant the world to me and my husband.

Thanks to her and the techs at Bluegrass we (finally!) have a healthy, happy, regulated pup. I appreciate ALL the staffs hard work, but especially Dr. Barry, since she has been so kind to answer all my dumb new pet parent questions. Also, the front desk gals that I have spoken too have all been fabulous - keeping cool during crazy COVID rushes - even when there is a long wait, they've been quick and efficient. Thanks to bluegrass for keeping our little guy healthy!

Bluegrass Animal Hospital is a fantastic place for your furr babies. The doctors are not only well trained, they are kind. Sam and the other staff are also great! The office feels more like family than a vet office. They go above and beyond to make sure your pets are well cared for in the home and in their care. They offer a large variety of services, so check with them before you take your baby somewhere else.

They offer it, or will recommend somewhere for you to go. They are doing curbside currently and observing several covid precautions. When I have been in the office before, it has looked and smelled clean. This in important when you want to know your little babies are being cared for. I love the time they spend talking with you to make sure everything is clearly communicated. I am so glad we can call them our people!

Our almost 14 yr old cat has never shown any signs of aging but his past weekend it finally started to show, his poor teeth went crazy. One fell out and one broke off and was hanging lopsided. Fortunate we have an amazing vet(Bluegrass Animal Hospital) who saw him on Monday and did a dental extraction, etc. on Tuesday. They took great care of him, great communication with us and even said they wanted to hold off on his vaccinations so they didn't overload his poor body at once.(We'll get those updated when he's ready.) We are so grateful to them for working him in asap.

We also have a dog and she is a patient here as well. They always take great care of her and she loves seeing them! We board her with them when we go out of town and she always has so much fun. I highly recommend Bluegrass Animal Hospital!

We took our dear friend in to have him put down (long life of 18 years). It was definitely his time. The staff couldn't have been more supportive during this sad time. The vet assistant even shed a few tears with us. We felt comforted that he was no longer in pain. So a week later we get the nicest note from the Vet expressing her sympathy for our loss.

We for sure will visit Blue Grass Animal Hospital for future pets (family). Thank you Blue Grass Animal Hospital for your comforting and kind acts and thoughts through all of this!

It's owned and ran by women! Bonne Mount is our vet and she is AMAZING! We also board our (rather difficult) dog here and we are able to leave town without any worries! I never feel like we are being oversold on services or products, they will love your pets like their own, and we have always been able to get our animals in when we need to! Go here, I promise you this will be your forever vet!

We have taken 3 of our cats here since July. The first cat we brought in was a kitten who we were told had broken her knee. They put a cast on her and given us some pain medication. They proceeded to have us bring her in every few days to a week and charged us an absurd amount of money to say she is still fine. We decided to stop bringing her because she was clearly recovered and they never even followed up with us about her ever.

Even upon return visits they did not care that we stopped bring her in without even saying why we stopped. The main reason I am writing this review, however is because of our most recent visit. Our cat was caught beneath a recliner when someone was putting the recliner back into it's normal position. The cat was clearly hurt. We noticed that her right side was sticky and it was causing her a lot of pain to touch it.

When we brought her in the staff at Bluegrass acted as if we were over reacting for even bring her in. They said there was no signs of bleeding nor broken bones. Fast forward a few days later and our cat has a huge bald spot on her side and a giant scab the size of a tennis ball. What is worse is that over the next day the scab is getting even bigger.

We call back in and ask why this was not discovered and Bluegrass told us it must be a separate issue and they wanted us to bring them back in. We informed them if their solution was to bring the cat back in and get charged a bunch of money yet again then we would go somewhere else. Without any attempt at retention, they said best of luck and got off of the phone.

We took our cat to another vet who told us that our cat had a fever and immediately had to cut open the scab to drain it. It has been a few weeks now and she is still recovering with a giant open wound on her side. We were told this could have been prevented entirely if Bluegrass had taken the time to diagnose our cat and give her antibiotics. They are more interested in our bank accounts then our pets by far. Never will we go back or let one of our loved ones go back here.
