We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty five days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent needs your pet has. Usually, an urgent care team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Urgent situations can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by a car, and chocolate ingestion.

We have now taken 2 of our (rescue) dogs to Dr. Rosenbaum @AVMC. We are beyond happy with the care & attention our 4legged family members receive. We won’t go anywhere else. Love the docs as well as the entire staff there. Thank you for always taking such good care of us !!!

My girlfriend took her Siberian husky Akira here for surgery to repair TWO TORN ACLS. The doctor performed the surgery on BOTH LEGS at the same time. He did bilateral surgery when Akira CLEARLY NEEDED TPLO SURGERY! Akira NEVER HEALED from his surgery. EVERY check up she had my girlfriend would express to him that she is not getting any better and she doesn't look good.

I was there for an appointment where he checked her out and said "she's doing fine". We had a bad feeling that something wasn't right because she wasn't improving AT ALL! We took Akira to another Vet at her work that did X rays and said that she needed to see a specialist. They referred us to OVRS. Our appointment at OVRS they knew within seconds of looking at Akira that SHE WAS NOT OK.

They said she needed TPLO surgery and it was OBVIOUS. Any vet should of known better but yet he was doing a surgery that wouldn't heal Akira. SHES OVER 40LBS! The vet at OVRS said that she wouldn't do a bilateral surgery on ANY DOG HALF HER SIZE! She said that ever since the TPLO surgery came about in the 90's they've been using that! HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING WAS WRONG BUT THEYRE MONEY HUNGRY. ALL HE COULD DO WAS APOLOGIZE ON THE PHONE LIKE A COWARD!

Manager never reached out like he said. THE Equipment that he used failed and should of never been used! The threads for her legs were broken within just a few months of her surgeries. THIS PLACE IS TRASH! NEVER EVER TRUST HIM WITH UR PETS! HE ONLY CARES ABOUT HIS POCKETS NOT UR PETS!

Extremely sketchy, I had to repost my original post because somehow this place made it hidden or deleted. Update: Akira had her 2nd Tplo done (TODAY) and the doctor had told me, the sutures were broken and removed, no torn meniscuses this time. Dr. Rozenbaum had no idea what he was doing, especially doing two legs at one time! DO NOT WASTE UR TIME AT THIS HORRIBLE FACILITY!

The paper sent to my vet, (which I currently work at) sent it to us from OVRS- the surgeon report says it ALL! The last 8 months have been a nightmare thanks to Dr. John Rozenbaum. Another money hungry VETERINARIAN! Shame on you! I wouldn't recommend this facility for the life of me. my girl had a bilateral surgery done, I drove an hour each time I had to come here.

My girl ended up having both rear ACL & meniscus torn. Dr. R, who did the surgery, I thought I trusted with every gut in me. Unfortunately- I was wrong. After her surgery, I had Akira on VERY strict bed rest along with her meds, stretching, doing what I had to do. I went to the facility every week to do laser treatment. the surgery was December 17th, 2021. January-feb, I had a feeling something was wrong, I continue speaking to the doctor explaining my concerns on how something was wrong, she's not walking straight, her tail was tuck.

I just had a gut feeling, he told me to continue giving her the meds, which completely made her weak. March comes around. I had a second doctor who I started working for ask me, what procedure did she have done? And when? He told me she should be showing improvement by now, which she wasn't. He did radiographs, and sent them to a radiologist. Unfortunately I had to be sent to OVRS.

My 3 year old husky, had to have a TPLO done, both legs & that should've been the proper route knowing she was a husky along with her weight. Well, we went with the Tplo, ONE leg at a time, when the doctor went in, she explained that the sutures that the doctor used when doing the bilateral was too thin for akiras size, and they had ruptured and that's why we're at this point.

I was furious at this point. I had sent this facility a long message regarding my concerns, the owner which is the doctor called me and all he could say was he was sorry, he couldn't refund anything. or anything. My poor girl had to go through all this for what?! He had mentioned he would have his manger reach out to me which never happened. I had happen to record the entire conversation with him on the phone. I'm so sad I trusted this man and this facility with my dog.

Changing my review from a 5 to 2 star. I have wanted to like this place. There are some very nice employees and not all experiences have been bad. There have actually been some really good ones. It is also conveniently the closest to my house. However, I think it's time to take my pets somewhere else unfortunately. I have had a number of communication issues here that has irked me, but the most recent and final straw for me was that no one reminded that it's time for one of my cat's annual visit and she has prescription food, which I order from Chewy.

I found this out when I called to inquire about my Chewy order from two days prior. I asked if they could at least fill this bag and I can get an appointment scheduled in the meantime, but they refused and suggested I give my cat chicken and rice. For up to two weeks because they're booking out really far. I don't think so. So I called my old vet which is a much farther drive and my cat hates the car but I would much rather make the drive because they're more reliable.

My old vet scheduled my cat for her annual exam for one week out, and still filled her food for me because I at least had something scheduled. So if you go here and have a pet on prescription food, make sure you yourself keep track of their visits and when it's time to take them in (I admittedly rely too much on the vets because most always send them out when it's time) because they won't remind you and also would rather your pet go off their food rather than get you an appointment scheduled and fill the prescription.

The entire staff is kind and helpful. I had to call with a question about my pets medication and my call was returned promptly. They are all very professional and caring!

I am shocked at how unresponsive this place has been. I really tried to get ahold of someone to refund me for a payment plan that I never renewed. Please don't go here or don't go on the payment plan it's a scam. I feel cheated and I have asked to have a call back from someone to explain this to me for the past two weeks and have been completely ghosted. Really unprofessional and i feel hopeless.

I was very pleased with the service I received for my fur baby today. He has been to a few other vet's who do not seem to care much about his well being. They treated him like any pet owner wants to see their pet treated, with his best interest in mind. Look forward to future visits!

My puppy, Maggie, was hit by a car. She was brought into this clinic for help with her broken leg and other issues. The wonderful, caring manager Amy, jumped straight into action to help this poor pup! Dr. Jones and Dr. Rozenbaum we're so very caring and took very good care of Maggie! They literally helped save her life and I couldn't be more grateful! Thank you to the staff at Advanced Veterinary Medical Center!

AVMC has always been fantastic. They take care of our two Goldendoodles and have always been friendly and helpful. Not the least expensive vet but also not overly expensive, I feel like we are getting good care though which is important. We were going to another vet in Livonia and it constantly felt like we were being hit by charge after charge for little things, and haven't had that at AVMC. Choosing a good vet is tough, but I think advanced veterinary medical center are great. I waited a year to write a review and have had the dogs in many times (mainly for puppy checkups and vaccinations).

DO NOT GO HERE! The techs/vet assistants are wonderful. That said their bookkeeping is abysmal. I decided to do their wellness plan, where you pay a monthly charge and it covers a large portion of your pet's services for the year. I payed my first payment in July of 2020 so should have paid my last one June of 2021. I called in May to confirm this and make sure they had noted I did not wish to continue.

They charged me for July 2021 and when I called they said that they hadn't charged me for January 2021. They also said I still owe a month. At this point I was done, and asked to pay the rest of what I owe on a different card, which I did. The girl I spoke to at this time, Michaela, was incredibly rude, and ended up hanging up on me when I asked to speak to the practice manager.

I called back and spoke to the practice manager who assured me it was all settled and I wouldn't be charged again. August 2021, I'm charged again. I left a message Saturday (8/21) to be called first thing Monday morning to have this addressed. No one called me and when I called back I was told the practice manager was not available but they would send her a message.

I called back again and was told they could speak to a doctor. Still waiting on a call back from that, (it's Thursday now). I will be filing a report with the better business bureau.

Dr. Rozenbaum, Dr. Jones and the entire staff are amazing! They truly care about each pet they see. Very compassionate and upfront about costs. I had an emergency with my dog and they made time last minute to see him. Highly recommend. They also offer a heath maintenance plan that is definitely worth the money if you take your pet to the vet more then twice a year.

Best veterinary center I have been too. All the faculty are very friendly and professional, and the health plans offered make it very nice to budget for treatment!

I love this office so much! I first brought my dog Norah here because she’d broken a toenail, and thankfully they were open on Saturday’s. I was so pleased with the care she received that I decided to change vets and bring her here. A couple months ago I rescued an elderly lab that had been neglected, and they’ve worked so hard to get him feeling better. He’s like a new dog now and I’m so thankful!
