Bellevue Animal Hospital

Love LOVE this place! As a dog owner of a 12 year old pup, I've been to my fair share of veterinarians and this place, BY FAR, I had THE BEST experience here. All of the staff, from receptionist to vet assistant, to the actual vet (Dr. Lewis) were amazing! Our vet assistant was so very kind and gentle, and my nervous pup seemed very comfortable with them. Dr Lewis was fantastic - also so very kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and patiently listened. So happy we came today! Highly recommend!

I brought my 6 year old kitty in for a wellness check provided by the Humane Society. Bellevue Animal Hospital is not on the list - however, they gladly accepted the voucher. I was greeted immediately and shortly thereafter taken into a private room. Lily was scared as you can probably understand, but the tech was so sweet and kind to her. She called her a little angel and by the time the visit was over - Lily was purring.

It did take 3 people - 2 techs and myself to clip her nails. She may be just 6 pounds - but she is definitely a strong one. Dr. G was amazing. Everyone treated her with kindness and calm voices. I think that is what helped her remain calm during the visit. I would definitely recommend Bellevue Animal Hospital to others. Only one drawback - parking. Parking is a challenge but that be can overlooked when the staff are so awesome! By the way, Lily is the Russian Blue on the left with her baby sister Milo, 2 years old.

Dr. Marzullo has shown extraordinary care and skill in diagnosing our aging pyr mix. She always takes the time to explain any tests administered and the results, and is very tender with our sweet girl. She is also a patient listener. We are so thankful we've found a vet who is both whip smart and caring. Moreover, everyone at BAH we've interacted with has been wonderful. (They even remember our baby girl's name when we visit!

I highly recommend Bellevue Animal Hospital and am so appreciative for them being there when our pup needed it. Carol was so helpful and made getting our first appointment simple and fast. We will definitely be coming back with all our pets now!

We will never take our cats anywhere else. They take the time to go slow and for the first time ever my cats don't hide out for days after a vet visit. Great option if you are in downtown Bellevue!

I came to Bellevue Vet Hospital for a health certificate for my dog to travel to the UK with me, but when I am back home I will use them for everything from now on. From the front desk ladies who were so kind and thorough to the manager who helped get all my paperwork in order, they were amazing. it isn't cheap but that's bellevue and the service you get makes it more than worth it!

We love Bellevue Animal Hospital. Dr. Marzullo is fantastic! My senior beagle is a frequent visitor at BAH, and they treat her as if she were their own pet. She can get a little rowdy (as beagles do), and they always roll with it. I appreciate that Dr. Marzullo knows the science but takes time to explain issues and procedures in "regular people" terms so we have an understanding of what's going on.

My only "complaint" is that different vets practice on different days, and with the uptick of animal owners (thanks, pandemic!), it can be difficult to get an appointment if you're partial to a particular doctor. We'll be lifelong customers of Bellevue Animal Hospital. Well worth every penny spent!

Too often I've had really bad experiences. There's this one guy who is constantly rude. Just recently, she dragged my dogs against the floor instead of just picking them up (They are tiny). She always gives me rude advice instead of just telling me suggestions respectfully. The bad has outweighed the good. I'll be finding a new place to go to.

I had an outstanding experience here getting the paperwork for my dog to move with me overseas. Harley, the Practice Manager, took what was an immensely stressful experience and handled it with warmth and total competency. She was responsive, caring, and attentive to details. I had total confidence every step of the way that my dog and I were in good hands. The rest of the BAH team, too, was kind and thoughtful every time we came in. I happily recommend their services.

I've dealt with this clinic multiple times concerning my bosses dog and not once has it been a pleasant experience. The first time the woman who took the dog was rough with him, rude, and didn't seem to care about the details of what was wrong either I believe her name was Michelle or something. When my bosses dog was returned he had a major bruise/swelling on his neck I'm assuming from someone prodding with a needle but we dismissed it which was a mistake.

The second time the dog was returned with bandaging on his leg from a heartworm test and again bruised and swollen. I don't think these people know how to do a blood draw. My third complaint is for the last 3 months trying to get a full appointment, vaccines, and check ups has been a nightmare because the front staff seem absolutely bored with their job and as if answering phones is the bane of their existence despite it being their job.

They barely listened to the concerns, didn't ask any questions, and weren't even willing to work with us on time frames. We won't be returning here. Being a Bellevue based veterinarian and the absurd prices they charge I'd assume they'd be charging that amount due to clientele or service but it's very clear to us money is the motivation and service comes second if at all.

Sue was very disrespectful. She would not let me schedule an appointment at the time i needed because i had to call to reschedule a visit which was for the same time i was requesting. I told her i will go elsewhere then she hung up on me. I will be calling and filing a complaint with management about her. I will also be taking my business elsewhere. Very unprofessional.

In August, my 11 year old dog was having bloody diarrhea and was not responding to antibiotics. She was seen and diagnosed with pancreatitis. The proper treatment was administered right away and she recovered within a week. And last week, she went in for her stem cell treatment, cyst removal, and dental. Dr Min was super professional as usual. The staff was also very kind to my dog. Please be patient with the staff as they are all overwhelmed.

It is so easy to bring your pet for a checkup or booster. They pick your dog up at your car and return them within minutes. Always helpful and so nice! I've had my pets at Bellevue Animal Hospital for 37 years!

I can't say enough good things about the staff at Bellevue Animal Hospital. From the Doctors to the nurses to the front desk. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful vet clinic so close to my home. They are compassionate and caring. I would highly recommend them.

Our 9yo best friend furbaby died while we were out of town. this vet was so incredible supporting us through our pain. Thank you for the space to see her one more time and for taking good care of her. When we invite another animal into our lives - this is where we will take them.

The staff and Dr. Debbie Carlson DVM is outstanding! Cooper my 12 yr old dog has had numerous issues, the care was above and beyond. Dr. Carlson is hands down the best!, she is thorough and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you for all you do for our animals!

My dog was killed in front of me. Marzullo did not care. She lacked interest in helping me save his life. Diabetic keto acidosis is treatable. The cruelest vet I have ever met. I told her no twice. Why weren't other options given me?

We are very happy with this practice. Both Dr.s Gerard and Dr. Min are wonderful. They cared for our labradoodle through end of life care, and now support our Great Dane puppy and 3 cats. Located where they are they could be extremely expensive, but they maintain reasonable costs. The desk staff (we know Thomas and Sue) are so friendly and truly interested in the pets. And the vet techs are awesome.

Went on Sunday, (no scheduled appointments) efficient and such good care of my two cats. Dr. Melanie is the best! Staff is always friendly!

I moved back to Bellevue two years ago and have been so pleased with the care at Bellevue Animal Hospital. When my Boomer crossed the bridge in January 2019, it was a sudden and heartbreaking time, made much easier by Dr. Melanie and the staff at BAH. I continue to take my other senior dog there and the care remains top shelf and I'm grateful for such a wonderful local vet to call on when needed. I can't say enough great things.

Timothy Wayne was well taken care of by the girls at the vets. They are professional and caring. I would definitely recommend them.

Very skilled and caring staff from the front desk to the veterinary technicians and doctors. They take the time to fully explain diagnoses and treatment options, and give a lot of personal attention to the patient (and patient parent(s)). Although my pup, Macie, is not a fan of medical visits, I completely entrust them with her care and am so appreciative of their TLC.

Thanks to Bellevue Animal Hospital and Dr. Gerard for caring for all of my dogs. I also appreciate all of the love and care that everyone has given our Golden Maui. He turned 4 today and it's because of this hospital that he has made it this far with his epilepsy and other plethora ailments he has had.

Absolutely Wonderful Staff. The best staff and absolutely the best Vet. Dr. Melanie Gerard, She has been so incredibly helpful and so very attentive, they will also work with you. My kitties may not be here if it wasn't for her. I can't thank her enough. I would highly recommend Bellevue Hospital. One of a kind Animal Clinic. You will never ever regret bringing your furbabies to an awesome Animal hospital, Vet and Staff.

The staff was wonderful when we had to bring our baby girl (Ellie) in to be euthanized. They are very compassionate and made Ellie's transition a peaceful experience. Thank you.you have a tough job

Dr. Melanie Gerard and her staff saved Twitchie's life! Twitch got an infection after surgery with a different veterinarian. Bellevue Animal Hospital went above and beyond nursing him back to health. It took several days for his fever to break. The staff was so friendly every time we came. Dr. Gerard and her staff saved him! We are so grateful for everything they've done!
