Bell Ridge Animal Hospital, Boarding, & Grooming

Everyone from the receptionist to April and Dr Johnson were amazing. Very friendly, understanding and explained everything to us. They worked as a team and didn't make us wait to be seen. That was a pleasant surprise. Very nice experience.

This place saved my kitty's life. Our kitty, Tucker, was at the emergency room for almost 24 hours and we couldn't afford the bills anymore. They found an obstruction in his intestines and said he needed IV therapy. I went home and called every vet within 50 miles of me. Nobody had any openings for me. I got a call from the Bell Ridge Animal Hospital that said the Roadrunner Animal Hospital just had a surgical cancellation and to call them right away. I almost cried at how kind they were to let me know about this cancellation. He is now in surgery as I'm typing this and it saved his little life.

They don't give a goddamn about your dog they just want their money, , I've spent close to $9000 in this facility and everytime I go back all they want to do is charge me more money.

Best place I have ever gone to for my dogs. A very caring staff, and excellent boarding facilities.

My cat has terminal cancer and every vet and vet tech I have seen has been so lovely to us. They are doing everything they can to buy us more time and make my boy comfy. They all treat him like the prince he is and couldn't be more grateful to everyone on the staff for helping us through all this. From the first appointment to start the diagnosis process to now, we have genuinely felt the compassion from everyone there. Thank you from me, my partner and our little Lucifer.

Everyone genuinely cares about Suki and her well being. They show sincere concern and take the time to listen. Very emphatetic and provide options for health management. Doctors Jackson, Johnson and Starkel always gives Suki ample time to be comfortable throughout her exam. They never rush through it. The doctors and techs are in it because they care. They do not take advantage of the devastating emotions to profit from.

I loved the gentleness and thoroughness the staff provided. I appreciate how the Dr. Took time to explain everything and go through all scenarios without being pushy. Everyone was great & this place is great which is why I continue to only bring my fur babies here.

Compassion right from the start! Staff was very kind any the Veterinarian was amazing, she took her time to understand what the issue was. She explained why and definitely answered all my questions! We even received a follow up regarding treatment and how our puppy was responding - I highly recommend!

Dr. Starkel took such good care of my baby! We are from out of town and had no idea where to go. They were able to see her the same day I called (a weekend at that) and by the next day she was already feeling much better! The vet was so kind and even texted to check on her the next day. Thank you all so much for helping my girl!

Had an excellent time coming in today after we've been concerned about our Goldendoodle's health. I called right when they opened and was thankfully able to get an appointment the same day. Our vet and all of the technicians were wonderful people who treated our dog as their own and answered any questions we had without judgement. I have had a lot of trouble finding a reliable Vet in Phoenix and I won't be going anywhere else now!

I have taken my pug to this place for many years. They are always professional and fair. Good advice, caring and compassionate. I highly recommend them. I'm very particular of who took care of my dog. Five stars all the way!

I’ve been going to this vet for 22 years now. I have referred several people over the years to them. Great and caring staff that has been there for me and Buddy, Zoey, Chloe, and Lemmy (dogs over the years. And Ack, Damien, Smokey, Suzie, Lola, And Rico (cats over the years).

Met these wonderful people during an emergency with our dog snickers , and just greatly appreciate their time and care for her .would recommend it to all my friends

Best vet ever! They are so awesome, I have been taking my baby there for a few years now. Unfortunately, my baby has had a few significant health issues. Every time I have taken her in, I have only been met with compassion and concern. They always try to work with you to get the best care possible for your fur baby. This includes financially. They have an in-house payment plan program.

It is a god send! There's no way I would have been able to afford my girl's surgeries otherwise. I am so grateful they exist. Bell ridge has made it possible for me to provide my baby girl the best quality of life possible. If you're looking for a vet, I highly recommend this location.

April went out of her way to be as helpful as she possibly could be. She was an absolute angel while setting up the puppy plan for our newest addition. Super thankful to have met her and even more thankful to know how good of hands my little puppy was in. Thank you, April!

I am so appreciative of Bell Ridge! I was very nervous about having Kitty shaved but she loves it and is acting like a kitten instead of a 8 year old!!
Everyone I interacted with at Bill Ridge was absolutely wonderful and I will continue to bring my kitty when I need to highly recommend you guys.

I went to this vet because my normal vet didn't have any openings. I was so impressed! She saw me immediately and spent a significant amount of time getting my dog's history and current issues. She was very compassionate and walked me through every option and scenario. I am actually going to switch my primary vet because of how amazing Dr. Starkel was with my fur baby!

My 3 boys are not exactly thrilled about the whole vet experience. My small herd of chihuahua's quickly becomes a pride of lions the second we approach the building. Through all the barking, rolling, pulling, growling, peeing, thrashing, scratching, excaping, and whatever else my boys throw at them, the staff has always maintained composure and compassion.

Regardless of my pets behavior they still show me respect, openly communicate with me and my husband. We are always up to date on the heath and well being of each dog as individuals, we're sent reminders of vaccine boosters and appointments, they inquire about how they're doing after being seen and even get acknowledged on their birthdays. They communicate via phone, email, and/or text. They truly love animals and I trust that.

They don't care about your pet they only care about money. Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone!

Incompetent doctors & poor management. Doctors lie and No compassion when an animal dies because of their negligence. I have pulled all my animals from this office and took my business elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

I was referred by my little sis after she encountered several health problems with her furry crew. They lived up to standards. Thanks for finding out the bronchial issues. He is meowing up a storm now and seems to be much better. Experts, compassionate, friendly, affordable, financing is available. They care. Bottom line.

I scheduled an appointment weeks ahead for a groom somehow the front desk girl talked me into having a parvo shot because she said that he needed it to get the groom that she wwould schedule back to back appointments so that he can get his haircut and the shot. I get there at 9:20 in the morning and they tell me that there is no grooming scheduled.

Save your money and go somewhere else since the people making the appointments are not doing them correct. All I got was an apology but could have been the correct thing to do is maybe offer a complementary grooming. I will definitely not Be taking any of my dogs there anymore.

Dr Bolduc took great care of my two dogs whom were very sick recently. She is compassionate caring and kind very knowledgeable in her field. She explains everything thoroughly, lays all options on the table for you to decide, most importantly she is honest and would never recommend unnecessary tests or procedures. Truly a doctor with a compassionate kind pure heart. I'm grateful for her and her team caring for my fur babies.

Im so thankful I found this place for my dog. Although it's not the answer I wanted to hear; the staff here is amazing, They're knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. I made an appointment for there half an hour earlier was greeted immediately and there was no wait time. My dog unfortunately is extremely active jumping 6 ft fences and running 100 miles per hour (jk) with that being said he was limping and I took him in. after an X-ray I was informed it was broken.

I was truly heartbroken and the cost of surgery. well it's not pocket change. They offer a payment plan with no interest but you must put down 25% downpayment. This place is it! They do everything, from grooming to boarding. vaccines, dentistry and clinic/surgery. Why go anywhere else? Please give em a try you won't regret it.

Danger! Many pets have been brought into this vet and their sister location, arrow animal hospital, for routine things like a spay, ear mites, dental work or a cold like our 6 year old cat Harper, and died as a result of this places' incompetence. Harper just needed antibiotics for his cold like we always got from our regular recently retired vet.

Bell Ridge talked us into expensive tests from which they put him on a huge regimen of new diets, medicines and treatments. Two months later he suffered and died. We later found out they mishandled and mixed up his blood tests. Also, they give you a different vet each time you go in and they never followed up or sufficiently monitored his progress on this new regimen, which was a DISASTER for Harper & us. And when he suffered and died over a period of two days they NEVER called us back despite us calling them on multiple occasions and telling them it was an emergency!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I have twin cats that are 1 1/2 years old. My male tabby became VERY sick overnight this past Sunday and his yowling got worse when it hit Monday early morning. A friend referred me to this hospital so I decided to start driving there and get there right before they opened at 7:30 am. They let me in a few minutes before opening and Julie at the front desk was great.

She got us squeezed in and Apollo was seen by Dr. Bolduc within 20 minutes or so. She explained everything in detail and I waited for a diagnosis. He had urinary blockages and his kidneys were not happy. He could've died. They ran all necessary tests, and he needed catheter surgery and to be put under anesthesia. I was nervous about pricing but everything worked out well with there interest free plan.

They kept him overnight with an IV and catheter. Usually cats spend 2-4 days after this type of procedure but Apollo was doing much better and I was able to pick him up Tuesday night. I dealt with Maria and Dr Tang who were both fantastic as well. They sent me home with a ton of instructions, food, medication and lots of smiles. It's now 5 days later and Apollo is already back to his normal crazy self running around, playing and fighting with his sister, and best of all in much better health. I'm not sure what I would of done without this office and staff. Thank you for saving my fur baby! I'll be bringing his sister in sometime for her check up.

I cannot say enough about Bellridge and the doctors, surgeons, nurses, and techs who work there. I had to bring my dog in to have bladder stones removed, and what seemed to be a routine procedure turned into an emergency during surgery. (Dobbies goes big at every thing he does!) Not only did they call in a specialist to help repair him they kept me informed every step of the way.

He ended up having to stay in the hospital for nine days, and through it all they treated our baby as though he was their own. I got texts, pictures and calls! He was in such bad shape they kept him there to keep a close eye on him at no cost for boarding. The bill was already really high so that helped tremendously, and they made an in house payment plan. Boarded my dogs while my family was on vacation and they took great care of my monsters. Called me when my puppy had an issue, even asked about our trip. Very pleased with the service and will definitely be taking my dogs back if I need to board them in the future.

Great vet hospital. I went on Feb 12, 2018. I let them know that my dog was animal aggressive before coming and they provided a muzzle for my dog. They even made sure that there wasn't any leash-less animals while I walked my dog in/out. They were very helpful and alert through the process and professional when giving my dog his shots.

Avoid Bell Ridge Animal Hospital at all costs. Brought in my dog when she hurt her leg and the doctor recommended a myriad of expensive tests which we later found out from several (more reliable) vets, were unnecessary. In addition, the recommendation from Bell Ridge was to have our pup undergo surgery on her leg; it turned out that was a completely bogus diagnosis.

We would have spent thousands of dollars had we not been wise enough to seek a second and third opinion elsewhere. I can't emphasize enough how wrong it is to prey on vulnerable, anxious people with sick fur babies; you can take our hard-earned money, Bell Ridge, but you'll never win our respect or loyalty. And the truth ALWAYS comes out in the reviews.

Dr Horner saved my baby's life! Gidgit, my 10-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, ate a shoelace and it got stuck in her intestines. She had emergency surgery to remove the blockage and they found that her little intestines were severely damaged. We weren't sure if she would make it, but here we are, 5 days later and Gidgit is already up and about and wagging her tail and happy to be alive.

She is well on her way to a full recovery. The care and service we received from the vet, techs and front desk staff was amazing and we feel they went above and beyond taking care of our girl. Their payment plans were a lifesaver also. Thank you!

We left our dog for boarding for what was supposed to be a 16-day stay. We returned a day early and was very disappointed to find her dog bed soaked with urine. We were told they were about to wash it leaving us to wonder just how long it had been that way. Once we got home our dog went directly to where her dish was, we fed her and she gobbled it up though she has never been a fast eater. I'll never use them again!

I feel like they just 'warehoused' my dog, not care for her as we expected. Very disappointed. Oh, even after washing the dog bed we had to buy another one, the stink remained. Done with them!
